| [1]μιμηται μου γινεσθε καθως καγω χριστου |
[1]Imitate me just as also I do The Messiah |
| [2]επαινω δε υμας αδελφοι οτι παντα μου μεμνησθε και καθως παρεδωκα υμιν τας παραδοσεις κατεχετε |
[2]Praise I you but my brethren that in every thing remember you me and just as I have delivered to you commandments keeping you are |
| [3]θελω δε υμας ειδεναι οτι παντος ανδρος η κεφαλη ο χριστος εστιν κεφαλη δε γυναικος ο ανηρ κεφαλη δε χριστου ο θεος |
[3]Want I but you to know of every man his Head The Messiah is and the head of woman man is and the Head of The Messiah Alaha is |
| [4]πας ανηρ προσευχομενος η προφητευων κατα κεφαλης εχων καταισχυνει την κεφαλην αυτου |
[4]Every man who prays or prophesies while covering his head disgraces his Head |
| [5]πασα δε γυνη προσευχομενη η προφητευουσα ακατακαλυπτω τη κεφαλη καταισχυνει την κεφαλην εαυτης εν γαρ εστιν και το αυτο τη εξυρημενη |
[5]And every woman praying or prophesying while revealing her head disgraces her head equal she is for with her is shaven whose head |
| [6]ει γαρ ου κατακαλυπτεται γυνη και κειρασθω ει δε αισχρον γυναικι το κειρασθαι η ξυρασθαι κατακαλυπτεσθω |
[6]If for not is covered a woman also she should be sheared if but a disgrace it is to a woman to be sheared or to be shaven let her be covered |
| [7]ανηρ μεν γαρ ουκ οφειλει κατακαλυπτεσθαι την κεφαλην εικων και δοξα θεου υπαρχων γυνη δε δοξα ανδρος εστιν |
[7]A man for not is obligated to cover his head because the image he is and the glory of Alaha woman but the glory is of man |
| [8]ου γαρ εστιν ανηρ εκ γυναικος αλλα γυνη εξ ανδρος |
[8]Not for is man from woman but woman is from man |
| [9]και γαρ ουκ εκτισθη ανηρ δια την γυναικα αλλα γυνη δια τον ανδρα |
[9]And neither for man created for the sake of woman but woman for the sake of man |
| [10]δια τουτο οφειλει η γυνη εξουσιαν εχειν επι της κεφαλης δια τους αγγελους |
[10]Because of this is obligated a woman that authority shall be over her head for the sake of the angels |
| [11]πλην ουτε ανηρ χωρις γυναικος ουτε γυνη χωρις ανδρος εν κυριω |
[11]However but not man outside of woman neither woman outside of man in our Lord |
| [12]ωσπερ γαρ η γυνη εκ του ανδρος ουτως και ο ανηρ δια της γυναικος τα δε παντα εκ του θεου |
[12]Just as for woman from man in this way also man is by woman everything but from Alaha is |
| [13]εν υμιν αυτοις κρινατε πρεπον εστιν γυναικα ακατακαλυπτον τω θεω προσευχεσθαι |
[13]Judge among you yourselves is it right? for a woman who while revealing her head to pray to Alaha |
| [14]η ουδε αυτη η φυσις διδασκει υμας οτι ανηρ μεν εαν κομα ατιμια αυτω εστιν |
[14]Not even? is nature teaching you that a man when -ever has grown his hair a disgrace it is to him |
| [15]γυνη δε εαν κομα δοξα αυτη εστιν οτι η κομη αντι περιβολαιου δεδοται αυτη |
[15]And a woman when -ever grows her hair glory it is to her because her hair for the sake a covering is given to her |
| [16]ει δε τις δοκει φιλονεικος ειναι ημεις τοιαυτην συνηθειαν ουκ εχομεν ουδε αι εκκλησιαι του θεου |
[16]If a man but disputes against these things for us there is not a custom like this neither for the church of Alaha |
| [17]τουτο δε παραγγελλων ουκ επαινω οτι ουκ εις το κρειττον αλλ εις το ηττον συνερχεσθε |
[17]This but that command I not as if praise I you because that not it has been to your advantage you have gathered but to meanness it is you have descended |
| [18]πρωτον μεν γαρ συνερχομενων υμων εν τη εκκλησια ακουω σχισματα εν υμιν υπαρχειν και μερος τι πιστευω |
[18]First for when -ever assemble you with the assembly division have heard I that there is among you and certain things believe I |
| [19]δει γαρ και αιρεσεις εν υμιν ειναι ινα οι δοκιμοι φανεροι γενωνται εν υμιν |
[19]Going to be there are for also contentions that will be among you that those who are approved among you may be known |
| [20]συνερχομενων ουν υμων επι το αυτο ουκ εστιν κυριακον δειπνον φαγειν |
[20]When therefore assemble you not according to what is fitting for the day of our Lord eat you and drink |
| [21]εκαστος γαρ το ιδιον δειπνον προλαμβανει εν τω φαγειν και ος μεν πεινα ος δε μεθυει |
[21]But one or another his supper before eats by himself and has been one hungry and one is drunk |
| [22]μη γαρ οικιας ουκ εχετε εις το εσθιειν και πινειν η της εκκλησιας του θεου καταφρονειτε και καταισχυνετε τους μη εχοντας τι υμιν ειπω επαινεσω υμας εν τουτω ουκ επαινω |
[22]Interrog. houses are there not? to you in which to eat and drink or the church of Alaha despise do you? and have shamed you those that there is not to them what? shall I say to you shall I praise you in this not praise I |
| [23]εγω γαρ παρελαβον απο του κυριου ο και παρεδωκα υμιν οτι ο κυριος ιησους εν τη νυκτι η παρεδιδοτο ελαβεν αρτον |
[23]I for received from our Lord that thing that I handed you that our Lord Ieshu in that night in which betrayed He was took He bread |
| [24]και ευχαριστησας εκλασεν και ειπεν λαβετε φαγετε τουτο μου εστιν το σωμα το υπερ υμων κλωμενον τουτο ποιειτε εις την εμην αναμνησιν |
[24]And He blessed and He broke and He said Take eat this is My body that for your persons is broken thus you shall do for My memorial |
| [25]ωσαυτως και το ποτηριον μετα το δειπνησαι λεγων τουτο το ποτηριον η καινη διαθηκη εστιν εν τω εμω αιματι τουτο ποιειτε οσακις αν πινητε εις την εμην αναμνησιν |
[25]Thus from after they had dined also the cup He gave and He said this cup is the covenant new in My blood so you shall be doing every time that drink you for My memorial |
| [26]οσακις γαρ αν εσθιητε τον αρτον τουτον και το ποτηριον τουτο πινητε τον θανατον του κυριου καταγγελλετε αχρις ου αν ελθη |
[26]Every time for that eat you bread this and drink you cup this His death it is of our Lord commemorate you until His coming |
| [27]ωστε ος αν εσθιη τον αρτον τουτον η πινη το ποτηριον του κυριου αναξιως ενοχος εσται του σωματος και αιματος του κυριου |
[27]Whoever therefore eats from the bread of the Lord and drinks from His cup and not is worthy for it condemned is for the blood of the Lord and for His body |
| [28]δοκιμαζετω δε ανθρωπος εαυτον και ουτως εκ του αρτου εσθιετω και εκ του ποτηριου πινετω |
[28]Because of this let be a man searching his soul and then eat from bread this and drink from cup this |
| [29]ο γαρ εσθιων και πινων αναξιως κριμα εαυτω εσθιει και πινει μη διακρινων το σωμα του κυριου |
[29]Who -ever eats for and drinks from it when not worthy a guilty verdict is to his soul eats and drinks for not distinguishing the Body of the Lord |
| [30]δια τουτο εν υμιν πολλοι ασθενεις και αρρωστοι και κοιμωνται ικανοι |
[30]Because of this many among you are ill and sickly and many are asleep |
| [31]ει γαρ εαυτους διεκρινομεν ουκ αν εκρινομεθα |
[31]If for ourselves judge we would not judged we would |
| [32]κρινομενοι δε υπο κυριου παιδευομεθα ινα μη συν τω κοσμω κατακριθωμεν |
[32]When we are judged but from our Lord to be chastised we are chastised lest with the world we would be condemned |
| [33]ωστε αδελφοι μου συνερχομενοι εις το φαγειν αλληλους εκδεχεσθε |
[33]From now on my brothers whenever assemble you to eat you shall wait one for another |
| [34]ει δε τις πεινα εν οικω εσθιετω ινα μη εις κριμα συνερχησθε τα δε λοιπα ως αν ελθω διαταξομαι |
[34]Whoever but hungers in his house let him eat lest to a guilty verdict you will be assembling concerning the rest but when I come I shall give you orders |
