| [1]ואנא אחי לא אשׁכחת דאמלל עמכונ איכ דעמ רוחנא אלא איכ דעמ פגרנא ואיכ דלילודא במשׁיחא |
[1]And I could not speak unto you, brethren, as unto spiritual men, but as unto carnal , even as unto babes in Christ. |
| [2]חלבא אשׁקיתכונ ולא יהבת לכונ מאכולתא לא גיר עדכיל משׁכחינ הויתונ אלא אפ לא השׁא משׁכחינ אנתונ |
[2]I gave you milk to drink, and not meat: for you were not yet able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. |
| [3]עדכיל גיר בבסר אנתונ איכא גיר דאית בכונ חסמא וחרינא ופלגותא לא הא פגרנא אנתונ ובבסר מהלכינ אנתונ |
[3]For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? |
| [4]מא דאמר גיר אנשׁ אנשׁ מנכונ אנא דפולוס אנא ואחרנא אמר אנא דאפלו אנא לא הא פגרנא אנתונ |
[4]For when one saith, I am Paul's, and another, I am Apollos', are ye not carnal? |
| [5]מנו גיר פולוס או מנו אפלו אלא משׁמשׁנא דאידיהונ הימנתונ ואנשׁ אנשׁ איכ דיהב לה מריא |
[5]Who is Paul then? and who is Apollos, but the ministers by whom ye believed, and as the Lord gave to every man? |
| [6]אנא נצבת ואפלו אשׁקי אלא אלהא רבי |
[6]I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. |
| [7]לא הכיל הו דנצב איתוהי מדמ ולא הו דמשׁקא אלא אלהא דמרבא |
[7]So then, neither is he that planteth, anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase. |
| [8]מנ דנצב דינ ומנ דמשׁקא חד אנונ ואנשׁ איכ עמלה אגרה מקבל |
[8]And he that planteth, and he that watereth, are one, and every man shall receive his wages, according to his labor. |
| [9]עמ אלהא גיר פלחיננ ופולחנא דאלהא ובנינא דאלהא אנתונ אנונ |
[9]For we together are God's laborers: ye are God's husbandry, and God's building. |
| [10]ואיכ טיבותא דאלהא דאתיהבת לי סמת שׁתאסתא איכ ארדכלא חכימא אחרנא דינ עליה בנא כל אנשׁ דינ נחזא איכנא בנא עליה |
[10]According to the grace of God given to me, as a skillful master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: but let every man take heed how he buildeth upon it. |
| [11]שׁתאסתא גיר אחרתא סטר מנ הדא דסימא אנשׁ לא משׁכח למסמ דאיתיה ישׁוע משׁיחא |
[11]For other foundation can no man lay, than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. |
| [12]ואנ אנשׁ דינ בנא על הדא שׁתאסתא דהבא או סאמא או כאפא יקירתא או קיסא או עמירא או חבתא |
[12]And if any man build on this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, timber, hay, or stubble, |
| [13]עבדא דכל אנשׁ מתגלא יומא גיר הו גלא לה מטל דבנורא מתגלא ועבדה דכל אנשׁ איכנא איתוהי נורא תפרשׁיוהי |
[13]Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by the fire: and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. |
| [14]ואינא דנקוא עבדה הו דבנא אגרה נקבל |
[14]If any man's work, that he hath built upon, abide, he shall receive wages. |
| [15]ואינא דעבדה נאקד נחסר הו דינ נשׁתוזב הכנא דינ איכ דמנ נורא |
[15]If any man's work burn, he shall lose, but he shall be safe himself: nevertheless yet as it were by the fire. |
| [16]לא ידעינ אנתונ דהיכלה אנתונ דאלהא ורוחה דאלהא עמרא בכונ |
[16]Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? |
| [17]ומנ דמחבל היכלה דאלהא מחבל לה אלהא היכלה גיר דאלהא קדישׁ הו דאנתונ אנונ |
[17]If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are. |
| [18]אנשׁ לא נטעא נפשׁה מנ דסבר בכונ דחכימ הו בעלמא הנא נהוא לה סכלא דנהוא חכימא |
[18]Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him be a fool, that he may be wise. |
| [19]חכמתה גיר דעלמא הנא ללותא הי לות אלהא כתיב הו גיר דאחד חכימא בחרעותהונ |
[19]For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God: for it is written, He catcheth the wise in their own craftiness. |
| [20]ותוב מריא ידע מחשׁבתהונ דחכימא דסריקנ אנינ |
[20]And again, The Lord knoweth that the thoughts of the wise be vain. |
| [21]מטל הנא לא אנשׁ נשׁתבהר בבנינשׁא כל מדמ גיר דילכונ הו |
[21]Therefore let no man rejoice in men: for all things are yours. |
| [22]אנ פולוס ואנ אפלו ואנ כאפא ואנ עלמא ואנ חיא ואנ מותא ואנ דקימנ ואנ דעתידנ כלמדמ דילכונ הו |
[22]Whether it be Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death: whether they be things present, or things to come, even all are yours, |
| [23]ואנתונ דמשׁיחא ומשׁיחא דאלהא |
[23]And ye Christ's, and Christ God's. |
