Peshitta NT (Etheridge, 1849)
PesNT(Eth)
[1]In short is reported among you fornication that such as this fornication which not even among pagans is named as far as that would take a son wife his father's [1]Fornication is commonly reported among you; and such fornication as is not heard among the Heathens, that the son should take the wife of his father.
[2]And you inflated are and not but rather you have sat in mourning that he be taken from your midst he whoever this crime has committed [2]And you are inflated; but should you not rather sit in grief that he who hath wrought this work might be put away from you?
[3]I for while distant I from you in body and near I to you in spirit from now I have judged as present with him whoever this has committed [3]But I, while distant from you in body, am near you in spirit, and now judge, as if near you, him who hath done this;
[4]That in the Name of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah you shall assemble all of you and I with you in spirit with the power of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [4]That in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha all of you be assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
[5]And you shall deliver him this one to Satan for the destruction of his body that in spirit he may live in the day of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [5]And you deliver this [man] to Satana for the destruction of his body, that in spirit he may be saved in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
[6]Not is good your boasting not? know you that yeast a little the whole lump ferments [6]MY brethren, your boasting is not seemly. Know you not that a little leaven the whole mass leaveneth?
[7]Purge from you the yeast old that you would be a lump new just as you are unleavened Passover for our The Messiah is Who was slain for our sake [7]Purge from you the old leaven, that you may be a new mass; so that you may be [as] unleavened bread. For our Pascha is the Meshiha, who hath been slain for us.
[8]Because of this let us make a feast not with leaven old neither with yeast that is in wickedness or of bitterness but with the leaven of purity and of Holiness [8]Therefore, let us perform the festival, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and animosity, but with the unleavened bread of purity and of holiness.
[9]I have written to you in a letter that not to mix with fornicators [9]I have written to you by epistle, not to be mixed with fornicators;
[10]Not but speak I about fornicators who are in world this or about the greedy or about extortioners or about worshippers of idols and if not obligated you would have been also from the world to depart [10]But I do not say with fornicators who are in this world, nor speak I concerning the covetous, or the rapacious, or the servers of idols; otherwise you would be obligated from the world also to go forth.
[11]This but that I have written to you that not to mix if there is one called a brother and he is a fornicator or a greedy man or a servant of idols or an abuser or a drunkard or a robber with whom that so you are not even bread to eat [11]But this which I have written to you, Be not mixed, [is,] If any one who is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or a worshipper of idols, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or rapacious, with one who is such as he not to eat bread.
[12]What? am I for to judge outsiders you the insiders judge [12]For what had I to judge those who are without? But you judge those who are within;
[13]The outsiders but Alaha judges and remove him the evil one from your midst [13]But those who are without, Aloha judgeth: and put away the wicked one from among you.
