[1]And because not we resisted we chose to remain in Athenos by ourselves |
[1]Wherfore, sence we coulde no longer forbeare, we thought it good to remaine at Athens alone |
[2]And we sent to you Timotheos our brother and a minister of Alaha and our helper in the Good News of The Messiah that he may strengthen you and inquire of you concerning your faith |
[2]And sent Timotheus, our brother and minister of God, and felowe labourer in the Gospell of Christe, to stablishe you & to comfort you concernyng your faith |
[3]Lest a man of you should lose hope to him by suffering such things you for aware are that for this it is we are appointed |
[3]That no man shoulde be moued in these afflictions: For ye your selues knowe, that we are appoynted therevnto |
[4]Also when with you we were for we before we said to you that we would be persecuted just as know you it was |
[4]For veryly when we were with you, we tolde you before that we shoulde suffer tribulation, euen as it came to passe, and [as] ye knowe |
[5]Because of this also I not I restrained so that I sent to know your faith lest would tempt you The Tempter and would be our labor worthless |
[5]For this cause, when I coulde no longer forbeare, I sent to knowe your fayth, lest by some meanes the tempter had tempted you, and our labour had ben vayne |
[6]Now but since has come to us Timotheos from your midst and he gave us good news concerning your faith and about your love and that there is to you our commemoration good in every place and desire you to see us just as that also we you |
[6]But nowe lately, when Timotheus came from you vnto vs, and brought vs good tydynges of your fayth and loue, and howe that ye haue good remembraunce of vs alwayes, desiryng to see vs, as we also [to see] you |
[7]Because of this we were comforted by you brethren over all our adversities and our afflictions because of your faith |
[7]Therefore brethren we were comforted ouer you, in all our aduersitie and necessitie, because of your fayth |
[8]And now it is we live if you will abide in our Lord |
[8]For nowe we lyue, yf ye stande fast in the Lorde |
[9]What? for thanks can we pay on your behalf to Alaha for every joy with which we rejoice because of you |
[9]For what thankes can we recompence to God agayne for you, for all the ioye wherwith we ioy for your sakes before our God |
[10]Except that before Alaha all the more we pray earnestly by night and by day to see your faces and perfect whatever is lacking in your faith |
[10]Praying nyght and daye exceedyngly to see you personally, and repayre the wantynges of your fayth |
[11]He but Alaha our Father and our Lord Ieshu The Messiah shall direct our way to you |
[11]Nowe God him selfe, and our father, and our Lord Iesus Christe, guyde our waye vnto you |
[12]And may He multiply and increase your love of one to another and that to every person just as we we love you |
[12]And the Lorde encrease you, & make you abounde in loue one towarde another, and towarde all men, euen as we also towarde you |
[13]And may He establish your hearts without fault in holiness before Alaha our Father at the arrival of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah Who is with all of them His holy ones |
[13]To stablyshe your heartes vnblameable, in holynesse before God and our father, in the commyng of our Lorde Iesus Christe, with all his saintes |
