[1]About the times but and seasons my brothers not you need to be written to you [1]But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
[2]You for truly know you that the day of our Lord as a thief in the night in this way comes [2]For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
[3]When they will say "peace there is and quiet and then from the silence shall rise upon them destruction as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and not they will escape [3]For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
[4]You but my brothers not you are in darkness that the day as a thief should overtake you [4]But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
[5]All of you for children of light are and children of day and not you are children of night neither children of darkness [5]Ye are all children of light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
[6]Not let us sleep therefore as the rest but let us be watchful and prudent [6]Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
[7]Those for who sleep in the night are sleeping and those who are drunk in the night are drunk [7]For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that are drunken, are drunken in the night.
[8]We but of the children of the day are let us be vigilant in our minds and put on the breastplate of faith and of love and let us take the helmet of the hope of Life [8]But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breast-plate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
[9]Because that not has appointed us Alaha to wrath but to the possession of Life in our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [9]For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
[10]Him Who died for our sake that if we are awake or if we sleep as one with Him we shall live [10]Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
[11]Because of this comfort one another and build up one another just as that also you have done [11]Wherefore, comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
[12]We beg but of you my brethren that you will recognize those who labor among you and have standing among you in our Lord and teach you [12]And we beseech you, brethren, to know them who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
[13]That you let them be esteemed to you in love greater and because of their works be at peace with them [13]And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
[14]We beg but of you my brothers correct wrongdoers and encourage the feeble souls bear the burdens of the weak and be long in your spirit to every person [14]Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are disorderly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be patient towards all men.
[15]And beware lest anyone of you evil in place of evil may reward but in every time run after good towards each one and to every person [15]See that none render evil for evil to any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
[16]Be rejoicing in every time [16]Rejoice evermore.
[17]And pray without ceasing [17]Pray without ceasing.
[18]And in every thing be giving thanks this is for the will of Alaha in Ieshu The Messiah in you [18]In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
[19]The Spirit not quench [19]Quench not the spirit.
[20]Prophecy not reject [20]Despise not prophesyings.
[21]Everything explore and what is excellent hold [21]Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
[22]And from every matter evil flee [22]Abstain from all appearance of evil.
[23]He but The Alaha of peace shall make you holy perfectly all of you and whole your spirit and your soul and your body He shall keep without faults for the arrival of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [23]And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[24]Faithful is He Who has called you it is He Who shall perform it [24]Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
[25]My brethren pray for us [25]Brethren, pray for us.
[26]Invoke the peace of our brethren all of them with a kiss holy [26]Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
[27]Bind in an oath I you by our Lord that will be read letter this to all the brethren holy [27]I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.
[28]The grace of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah with you Amen [28]The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
