[16]καίC ἔτιD λαλέωVAI-AAI3PRA-NPM παῖςN3D-NPM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP κύριοςN2-ASM θεόςN2-ASM καίC ἐπίP *εζεκιαςN1T-ASM παῖςN3D-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM [16]And his servants continued to speak against the Lord God, and against his servant Ezekias.
[17]καίC βιβλίονN2N-ASN γράφωVAI-AAI3S ὀνειδίζωV1-PANRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM θεόςN2-ASM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S περίP αὐτόςRD-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ὡςX θεόςN2-NPMRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPNRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF οὐD ἐκαἱρέωVAI-AMI3PRA-APM λαόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐκP χείρN3-GSF ἐγώRP-GS οὕτωςD οὐD μήD ἐκαἱρέωVB-AMS3SRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM *εζεκιαςN1T-GSM λαόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκP χείρN3-GSF ἐγώRP-GS [17]And he wrote a letter to reproach the Lord God of Israel, and spoke concerning him, saying, As the gods of the nations of the earth have not delivered their people out of my hand, so the God of Ezekias shall by no means deliver his people out of my hand.
[18]καίC βοάωVAI-AAI3S φωνήN1-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF *ἰουδαϊστίN--DSF ἐπίP λαόςN2-ASM *ἰερουσαλήμN--GSFRA-ASM ἐπίPRA-GSN τεῖχοςN3E-GSNRA-GSN φοβέωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM καίC κατασπάωVA-AAN ὅπωςC προ καταλαμβάνωVB-AMS3PRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF [18]And he cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language to the people of Jerusalem on the wall, calling them to assist them, and pull down the walls, that they might take the city.
[19]καίC λαλέωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP θεόςN2-ASM *ἰερουσαλήμN--GSM ὡςD καίC ἐπίP θεόςN2-APM λαόςN2-GPMRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ἔργονN2N-APN χείρN3-GPF ἄνθρωποςN2-GPM [19]And he spoke against the God of Jerusalem, even as against the gods of the nations of the earth, the works of the hands of men.
[20]καίC προςεὔχομαιVAI-AMI3S *εζεκιαςN1T-NSMRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM καίC *ησαιαςN1T-NSM υἱόςN2-NSM *αμωςN--GSMRA-NSM προφήτηςN1M-NSM περίP οὗτοςRD-GPN καίC βοάωVAI-AAI3P εἰςPRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM [20]And king Ezekias and Esaias the prophet the son of Amos prayed concerning these things, and they cried to heaven.
[21]καίC ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἄγγελοςN2-ASM καίC ἐκτρίβωVAI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-ASN δυνατόςA1-ASN πολεμιστήςN1-ASM καίC ἄρχωνN3-ASM καίC στρατηγόςN2-ASM ἐνPRA-DSF παρεμβολήN1-DSF βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *ασσουρN--GSM καίC ἀποστρέφωVAI-AAI3S μετάP αἰσχύνηN1-GSF πρόσωπονN2N-GSN εἰςPRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S εἰςP οἶκοςN2-ASMRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίCRA-GPM ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAPGPM ἐκP κοιλίαN1A-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καταβάλλωVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF [21]And the Lord sent an angel, and he destroyed every mighty man and warrior, and leader and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria: and he returned with shame of face to his own land and came into the house of his god: and some of them that came out of his bowels slew him with the sword.
[22]καίC σώζωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM *εζεκιαςN1T-ASM καίCRA-APM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPAPM ἐνP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF ἐκP χείρN3-GSF *σενναχηριμN--GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *ασσουρN--GSM καίC ἐκP χείρN3-GSF πᾶςA3-GPM καίC καταπαύωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM κυκλόθενD [22]So the Lord delivered Ezekias and the dwellers in Jerusalem out of the hand of Sennacherim King of Assyria, and out of the hand of all his enemies, and gave them rest round about.
[23]καίC πολύςA1-NPM φέρωV1I-IAI3P δῶρονN2N-APNRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM εἰςP *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF καίC δόμαN3M-APNRA-DSM *εζεκιαςN1T-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *ἰουδάN--GSM καίC ὑπεραἴρωVCI-API3S κατάP ὀφθαλμόςN2-APM πᾶςA3-GPNRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN μετάP οὗτοςRD-APN [23]And many brought gifts to the Lord to Jerusalem, and presents to Ezekias king of Juda; and he was exalted in the eyes of all the nations after these things.
[24]ἐνPRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DPF ἀρρωστέωVAI-AAI3S *εζεκιαςN1T-NSM ἕωςC θάνατοςN2-GSM καίC προςεὔχομαιVAI-AMI3S πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC ἐπιἀκούωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC σημεῖονN2-ASN δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM [24]In those days Ezekias was sick even to death, and prayed to the Lord: and he hearkened to him, and gave him a sign.
[25]καίC οὐD κατάPRA-ASN ἀνταπόδομαN3M-ASN ὅςRR-NSM δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM ἀντι ἀποδίδωμιVAI-AAI3S *εζεκιαςN1T-NSM ἀλλάC ὑψόωVCI-API3SRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASM ὀργήN1-NSF καίC ἐπίP *ἰούδαςN1T-ASM καίC *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASM [25]But Ezekias did not recompense the Lord according to the return which he made him, but his heart was lifted up: and wrath came upon him, and upon Juda and Jerusalem.
[26]καίC ταπεινόωVCI-API3S *εζεκιαςN1T-NSM ἀπόPRA-GSM ὕψοςN3E-GSMRA-GSF καρδίαN1A-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίCRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF καίC οὐD ἐπιἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM ὀργήN1-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ἐνPRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF *εζεκιαςN1T-GSM [26]And Ezekias humbled himself after the exaltation of his heart, he and the dwellers in Jerusalem; and the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Ezekias.
[27]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3SRA-DSM *εζεκιαςN1T-DSM πλοῦτοςN2-NSM καίC δόξαN1S-NSF πολύςA1-NSF σφόδραD καίC θησαυρόςN2-APM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM ἀργύριονN2N-GSN καίC χρυσίονN2N-GSN καίCRA-GSM λίθοςN2-GSMRA-GSM τίμιοςA1A-GSM καίC εἰςPRA-APN ἄρωμαN3M-APM καίC ὁπλοθήκηN1-APF καίC εἰςP σκεῦοςN3E-APN ἐπιθυμητόςA1-APN [27]And Ezekias had wealth and very great glory: and he made for himself treasuries of gold, and silver, and precious stones, also for spices, and stores for arms, and for precious vessels;
[28]καίC πόλιςN3I-APF εἰςPRA-APN γένημαN3M-APN σῖτοςN2-GSM καίC ἔλαιονN2N-GSN καίC οἶνοςN2-GSM καίC φάτνηN1-APF πᾶςA3-GSN κτῆνοςN3E-GSN καίC μάνδραA1A-APF εἰςPRA-APN ποίμνιονN2N-APN [28]and cities for the produce of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls and mangers for every kind of cattle, and folds for flocks;
[29]καίC πόλιςN3I-APF ὅςRR-APF οἰκοδομέωVAI-AAI3S ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM καίC ἀποσκευήN1-ASF πρόβατονN2N-GPN καίC βοῦςN3-GPM εἰςP πλῆθοςN3E-ASN ὅτιC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM κύριοςN2-NSM ἀποσκευήN1-ASF πολύςA1-ASF σφόδραD [29]and cities which he built for himself, and store of sheep and oxen in abundance, for the Lord gave him a very great store.
[30]αὐτόςRD-NSM *εζεκιαςN1T-NSM ἐνφράσσωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASF ἔξοδοςN2-ASFRA-GSN ὕδωρN3T-GSN *γιωνN--GSRA-ASN ἄνωD καίC καταεὐθυν/ωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APN κάτωD πρόςP λίψN3-ASMRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF *δαυίδN--GSM καίC εὐοδόωVC-API3S *εζεκιαςN1T-NSM ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPNRA-DPN ἔργονN2N-DPN αὐτόςRD-GSM [30]The same Ezekias stopped up the course of the water of Gion above, and brought the water down straight south of the city of David. And Ezekias prospered in all his works.
