[1]Moreover he madeH6213[H8799] an altarH4196 of brassH5178, twentyH6242 cubitsH520 the lengthH753 thereof, and twentyH6242 cubitsH520 the breadthH7341 thereof, and tenH6235 cubitsH520 the height thereofH6967. [1]And he made an altar of brass twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits broad, and ten cubits high.
[2]Also he madeH6213[H8799] a moltenH3332[H8716] seaH3220 of tenH6235 cubitsH520 from brimH8193 to brimH8193, roundH5696 in compassH5439, and fiveH2568 cubitsH520 the heightH6967 thereof; and a lineH6957 of thirtyH7970 cubitsH520 did compassH5437[H8799] it round aboutH5439. [2]And he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits high: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it about.
[3]And under it was the similitudeH1823 of oxenH1241, which did compassH5437[H8802] it round aboutH5439: tenH6235 in a cubitH520, compassingH5362[H8688] the seaH3220 round aboutH5439. TwoH8147 rowsH2905 of oxenH1241 were castH3332[H8803], when it was castH4166. [3]And under it was the fashion of oxen, which did compass it round about, ten in a cubit compassing the sea about: two rows of oxen were cast when it was molten.
[4]It stoodH5975[H8802] upon twelveH8147[H6240] oxenH1241, threeH7969 lookingH6437[H8802] toward the northH6828, and threeH7969 lookingH6437[H8802] toward the westH3220, and threeH7969 lookingH6437[H8802] toward the southH5045, and threeH7969 lookingH6437[H8802] toward the eastH4217: and the seaH3220 was set aboveH4605 upon them, and all their hinder partsH268 were inwardH1004. [4]It stood upon twelve oxen: three looked toward the north, and three looked toward the west, and three looked toward the south, and three looked toward the east, and the sea stood about upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
[5]And the thicknessH5672 of it was an handbreadthH2947, and the brimH8193 of it like the workH4639 of the brimH8193 of a cupH3563, with flowersH6525 of liliesH7799; and it receivedH2388[H8688] and heldH3557[H8686] threeH7969 thousandH505 bathsH1324. [5]And the thickness thereof was an hand breadth, and the brim thereof was like the work of the brim of a cup with flowers of lilies: it contained three thousand baths.
[6]He madeH6213[H8799] also tenH6235 laversH3595, and putH5414[H8799] fiveH2568 on the right handH3225, and fiveH2568 on the leftH8040, to washH7364[H8800] in them: such things as they offeredH4639 for the burnt offeringH5930 they washedH1740[H8686] in them; but the seaH3220 was for the priestsH3548 to wash inH7364.[H8800] [6]He made also ten cauldrons, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them, and to cleanse in them that which appertained to the burnt offerings: but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
[7]And he madeH6213[H8799] tenH6235 candlesticksH4501 of goldH2091 according to their formH4941, and setH5414[H8799] them in the templeH1964, fiveH2568 on the right handH3225, and fiveH2568 on the leftH8040. [7]And he made ten candlesticks of gold (according to their form) and put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
[8]He madeH6213[H8799] also tenH6235 tablesH7979, and placedH3240[H8686] them in the templeH1964, fiveH2568 on the right sideH3225, and fiveH2568 on the leftH8040. And he madeH6213[H8799] an hundredH3967 basonsH4219 of goldH2091. [8]And he made ten tables, and put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left: and he made an hundred basins of gold.
[9]Furthermore he madeH6213[H8799] the courtH2691 of the priestsH3548, and the greatH1419 courtH5835, and doorsH1817 for the courtH5835, and overlaidH6823[H8765] the doorsH1817 of them with brassH5178. [9]And he made the court of the priests, and the great court and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors thereof with brass.
[10]And he setH5414[H8804] the seaH3220 on the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the east endH6924, over againstH4136 the southH5045. [10]And he set the sea on the right side eastward toward the south.
[11]And HuramH2361 madeH6213[H8799] the potsH5518, and the shovelsH3257, and the basonsH4219. And HuramH2361[H8676][H2438] finishedH3615[H8762][H6213][H8800] the workH4399 that he was to makeH6213[H8804] for kingH4428 SolomonH8010 for the houseH1004 of GodH430; [11]And Huram made pots and besoms and basins, and Huram finished the work that he should make for king Solomon for the house of God,
[12]To wit, the twoH8147 pillarsH5982, and the pommelsH1543, and the chapitersH3805 which were on the topH7218 of the two pillarsH5982, and the twoH8147 wreathsH7639 to coverH3680[H8763] the twoH8147 pommelsH1543 of the chapitersH3805 which were on the topH7218 of the pillarsH5982; [12]To wit, two pillars, and the bowls and the chapiters on the top of the two pillars, and two grates to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars:
[13]And fourH702 hundredH3967 pomegranatesH7416 on the twoH8147 wreathsH7639; twoH8147 rowsH2905 of pomegranatesH7416 on eachH259 wreathH7639, to coverH3680[H8763] the twoH8147 pommelsH1543 of the chapitersH3805 which were uponH6440 the pillarsH5982. [13]And four hundred pomegranates for the two grates, two rows of pomegranates for every grate to cover the two bowls of the chapiters, that were upon the pillars.
[14]He madeH6213[H8804] also basesH4350, and laversH3595 madeH6213[H8804] he upon the basesH4350; [14]He made also bases, and made cauldrons upon the bases:
[15]OneH259 seaH3220, and twelveH8147[H6240] oxen under itH1241. [15]And a sea, and twelve bulls under it:
[16]The potsH5518 also, and the shovelsH3257, and the fleshhooksH4207, and all their instrumentsH3627, did HuramH2361 his fatherH1 makeH6213[H8804] to kingH4428 SolomonH8010 for the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 of brightH4838[H8803] brassH5178. [16]Pots also and besoms, and flesh hooks, and all these vessels made Huram his father, to king Solomon for the house of the Lord, of shining brass.
[17]In the plainH3603 of JordanH3383 did the kingH4428 castH3332[H8804] them, in the clayH5645 groundH127 between SuccothH5523 and ZeredathahH6868. [17]In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them in clay between Succoth and Zeredathah.
[18]Thus SolomonH8010 madeH6213[H8799] all these vesselsH3627 in greatH3966 abundanceH7230: for the weightH4948 of the brassH5178 could not be found outH2713.[H8738] [18]And Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of brass could not be reckoned.
[19]And SolomonH8010 madeH6213[H8799] all the vesselsH3627 that were for the houseH1004 of GodH430, the goldenH2091 altarH4196 also, and the tablesH7979 whereon the shewbreadH3899 was setH6440; [19]And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God: the golden altar also and the tables, whereon the showbread stood.
[20]Moreover the candlesticksH4501 with their lampsH5216, that they should burnH1197[H8763] after the mannerH4941 beforeH6440 the oracleH1687, of pureH5462[H8803] goldH2091; [20]Moreover the candlesticks, with their lamps to burn them after the manner, before the oracle, of pure gold.
[21]And the flowersH6525, and the lampsH5216, and the tongsH4457, made he of goldH2091, and that perfectH4357 goldH2091; [21]And the flowers and the lamps, and the snuffers of gold, which was fine gold.
[22]And the snuffersH4212, and the basonsH4219, and the spoonsH3709, and the censersH4289, of pureH5462[H8803] goldH2091: and the entryH6607 of the houseH1004, the innerH6442 doorsH1817 thereof for the mostH6944 holyH6944 place, and the doorsH1817 of the houseH1004 of the templeH1964, were of goldH2091. [22]And the hooks, and the basins, and the spoons, and the ash pans of pure gold: the entry also of the house and doors thereof within, even of the most holy place: and the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple were of gold.
