| [1]ואיכ מעדרנא בעינ חננ מנכונ דלא תסתרק בכונ טיבותא דאלהא דקבלתונ |
[1]So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. |
| [2]אמר גיר דבזבנא מקבלא עניתכ וביומא דחיא עדרתכ הא השׁא זבנא מקבלא והא השׁא יומא דחיא |
[2]For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold now the accepted time, behold now the day of salvation. |
| [3]למא במדמ תתלונ לאנשׁ עלתא דתוקלתא דלא נהוא מומא בתשׁמשׁתנ |
[3]We give no occasion of offense in any thing, that our ministry should not be reprehended. |
| [4]אלא בכל מדמ נחוא נפשׁנ דמשׁמשׁנא חננ דאלהא במסיברנותא סגיאתא באולצנא באננקוס בחבושׁיא |
[4]But in all things we approve ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, |
| [5]בנגדא באסורא בשׁגושׁיא בלאותא בשׁהרא בצומא |
[5]In stripes, in prisons, in tumults, in labors, |
| [6]בדכיותא בידעתא בנגירות רוחא בבסימותא ברוחא דקודשׁא בחובא דלא נכלא |
[6]By watchings, by fastings, by purity, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, |
| [7]במלתא דקושׁתא בחילא דאלהא בזינא דזדיקותא דבימינא ובסמלא |
[7]By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, |
| [8]בשׁובחא ובצערא בקולסא ובגוניא איכ מטעינא ושׁרירא |
[8]By honor, and dishonor, by evil report and good report, as deceivers, and yet true: |
| [9]איכ לא ידיעא וידיעינ חננ איכ מיתינ חננ והא חיינ חננ איכ דמתרדינ חננ ולא מיתינ חננ |
[9]As unknown, and yet known: as dying, and behold, we live: as chastened, and yet not killed: |
| [10]איכ דכריא לנ ובכלזבנ חדינ חננ איכ מסכנא ולסגיאא מעתרינ חננ איכ דמדמ לית לנ וכל מדמ אחידינ חננ |
[10]As sorrowing, and yet alway rejoicing: as poor, and yet make many rich: as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. |
| [11]פומנ פתיח הו לותכונ קורנתיא ולבנ רויח |
[11]O Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you: our heart is made large. |
| [12]לא אליצינ אנתונ בנ אליצינ אנתונ דינ ברחמיכונ |
[12]Ye are not kept strait in us, but ye are kept strait in your own bowels. |
| [13]איכ דלבניא דינ אמר אנא פורעוני חובלי דלותכונ ורוחו חובכונ לותי |
[13]Now for the same recompense, I speak as to my children, Be you also enlarged. |
| [14]ולא תהוונ בני זוגא לאילינ דלא מהימנינ אידא גיר שׁותפותא אית לזדיקותא עמ עולא או אינא חולטנא אית לנהירא עמ חשׁוכא |
[14]Be not unequally yoked with the infidels: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? |
| [15]או אידא שׁלמותא אית למשׁיחא עמ סטנא או אידא מנתא אית לדמהימנ עמ דלא מהימנ |
[15]And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath the believer with the infidel? |
| [16]אידא דינ אויותא אית להיכלה דאלהא עמ דשׁאדא אנתונ גיר היכלה אנתונ דאלהא חיא איכנא דאמיר דאעמר בהונ ואהלכ בהונ ואהוא אלההונ והנונ נהוונ לי עמא |
[16]And what agreement hath the Temple of God with idols? for ye are the Temple of the living God: as God hath said, I will dwell among them, and walk there: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. |
| [17]מטל הנא פוקו מנ בינתהונ ואתפרשׁו מנהונ אמר מריא ולטמאא לא תתקרבונ ואנא אקבלכונ |
[17]Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves, saith the Lord: and touch none unclean thing, and I will receive you. |
| [18]ואהוא לכונ לאבא ואנתונ תהוונ לי לבניא ולבנתא אמר מריא דכל אחיד |
[18]And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord almighty. |
