And Elisha said to him, Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it

Now therefore come and let us go to the camp of Aram; if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they put us to death, we shall but die.
[5]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3P ἐνPRA-DSN σκότοςN3E-DSN εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAN εἰςPRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF *συρίαN1A-GSF καίC ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P εἰςP μέροςN3E-ASNRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF *συρίαN1A-GSF καίC ἰδούI οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἀνήρN3-NSM ἐκεῖD [5]So they rose up early in the twilight to go to the camp of Aram; and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp, behold, there was no man there;
[6]καίC κύριοςN2-NSM ἀκουστόςA1-ASF ποιέωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF *συρίαN1A-GSF φωνήN1-ASF ἅρμαN3M-GSN καίC φωνήN1-ASF ἵπποςN2-GSM καίC φωνήN1-ASF δύναμιςN3I-GSF μέγαςA1-GSF καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἀνήρN3-NSM πρόςPRA-ASM ἀδελφόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM νῦνD μισθόωVAI-AMI3S ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSMRA-APM βασιλεύςN3V-APMRA-GPM *χετταῖοςN2-GPM καίCRA-APM βασιλεύςN3V-APM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSFRA-GSN ἔρχομαιVB-AAN ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP [6]For the LORD had made the army of Aram hear the noise of horses and the noise of chariots and the noise of a great army; and they said to one another, Lo, the king of Israel has hired against us the king of the Egyptians and the king of the Hittites to come upon us.
[7]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3P καίC ἀποδιδράσκωVBI-AAI3P ἐνPRA-DSN σκότοςN3E-DSN καίC ἐν καταλείπωVBI-AAI3PRA-APF σκηνήN1-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίCRA-APM ἵπποςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίCRA-APM ὄνοςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐνPRA-DSF παρεμβολήN1-DSF ὡςC εἰμίV9-PAI3S καίC φεύγωVBI-AAI3P πρόςPRA-ASF ψυχήN1-ASF ἑαυτοῦRD-GPM [7]Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, their horses, and their asses, even their camp as it was, and they fled for their lives.

[9]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἀνήρN3-NSM πρόςPRA-ASM πλησίονD αὐτόςRD-GSM οὐD οὕτωςD ἐγώRP-NP ποιέωV2-PAI1PRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF οὗτοςRD-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF εὐαγγελίαN1A-GSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S καίC ἐγώRP-NP σιωπάωV3-PAI1P καίC μένωV1-PAI1P ἕωςP φῶςN3T-GSNRA-GSM πρωΐD καίC εὑρίσκωVF-FAI1P ἀνομίαN1A-ASF καίC νῦνD δεῦροD καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAS1P καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVA-AAS1P εἰςPRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASMRA-GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM [9]Then they said one to another, We are not doing right; this day is a day of good tidings, and how long shall we remain silent? If we wait until the morning light, some mischief will come upon us; now therefore come, let us go and tell the king's household.
[10]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P καίC βοάωVAI-AAI3P πρόςPRA-ASF πύληN1-ASFRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DPM λέγωV1-PAPNPM εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI1P εἰςPRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF *συρίαN1A-GSF καίC ἰδούI οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐκεῖD ἀνήρN3-NSM καίC φωνήN1-NSF ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ὅτιC εἰC μήD ἵπποςN2-NSM δέωVM-XMPNSM καίC ὄνοςN2-NSM καίCRA-NPF σκηνήN1-NPF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὡςC εἰμίV9-PAI3P [10]So they came and called to the doorkeepers of the city; and they told them, saying, We went to the camp of Aram, and behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied and asses tied and tents as they were.
[11]καίC βοάωVAI-AAI3PRA-NPM θυρωρόςN2-NPM καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVAI-AAI3P εἰςPRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASMRA-GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM ἔσωD [11]And the doorkeepers called out and told it to the king's household within
[12]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3SRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM νύξN3-GSF καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςPRA-APM παῖςN3D-APM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀναἀγγέλλωVF2-FAI1S δήX σύRP-DP ὅςRR-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-DP *συρίαN1A-NSF γιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3P ὅτιC πεινάωV3-PAI1P ἐγώRP-NP καίC ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ἐκPRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF καίC κρύπτωVDI-API3P ἐνPRA-DSM ἀγρόςN2-DSM λέγωV1-PAPNPM ὅτιC ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P ἐκPRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF καίC συνλαμβάνωVF-FMI1P αὐτόςRD-APM ζάωV3-PAPAPM καίC εἰςPRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF εἰςἔρχομαιVF-FMI1P [12]And the king arose in the night and said to his servants, I will now tell you what the Arameans have done to us. They know that we are hungry; therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall capture them alive and then get into the city.
[13]καίC ἀποκρίνωVCI-API3S εἷςA3-NSMRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S λαμβάνωVB-AAD3P δήX πέντεMRA-GPM ἵπποςN2-GPMRA-GPM ὑπολείπωVP-XMPGPM ὅςRR-NPM καταλείπωVVI-API3P ὧδεD ἰδούI εἰμίV9-PAI3P πρόςP πᾶςA3-ASNRA-ASN πλῆθοςN3E-ASN *ἰσραήλN--GSMRA-ASN ἐκλείπωV1-PAPASN καίC ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI1P ἐκεῖD καίC ὁράωVF-FMI1P [13]And one of his servants answered and said, Let some horsemen take five of the horses that remain; if they are captured, let them be considered a loss like all the army of Israel that has perished; therefore let us send and see.
[14]καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3P δύοM ἐπιβάτηςN1M-APM ἵπποςN2-GPM καίC ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὀπίσωPRA-GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *συρίαN1A-GSF λέγωV1-PAPNSM δεῦτεD καίC ὁράωVB-AAD2P [14]So two couples of horsemen mounted, and the king sent them after the army of Aram, saying, Go and see.
[15]καίC πορεύομαιVCI-API3P ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM ἕωςPRA-GSM *ἰορδάνηςN1M-GSM καίC ἰδούI πᾶςA1S-NSFRA-NSF ὁδόςN2-NSF πλήρηςA3H-NSM ἱμάτιονN2N-GPN καίC σκεῦοςN3E-GPN ὅςRR-GPN ῥίπτωVAI-AAI3S *συρίαN1A-NSF ἐνPRA-DSN θαμβέωV2-PMN αὐτόςRD-APM καίC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3PRA-NPM ἄγγελοςN2-NPM καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVAI-AAI3PRA-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM [15]And they went after them as far as the Jordan; and, lo, all the road was full of garments and vessels which the Arameans had left behind in their haste. And the messengers returned and told the king.
[16]καίC ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3SRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM καίC διαἁρπάζωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF *συρίαN1A-GSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S μέτρονN2N-ASN σεμίδαλιςN3I-GSF σίκλοςN2-GSM καίC δίμετροςA1A-ASM κριθήN1-GPF σίκλοςN2-GSM κατάPRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM [16]And the people went out and plundered the camp of Aram. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.
[17]καίCRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM καταἵστημιVAI-AAI3SRA-ASM τριστάτηςN1-ASM ἐπίP ὅςRR-ASMRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM ἐπι ἀναπαύωV1I-IMI3S ἐπίPRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίPRA-GSF πύληN1-GSF καίC συνπατέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASMRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ἐνPRA-DSF πύληN1-DSF καίC ἀποθνήσκωVBI-AAI3S καθάD λαλέωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSMRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ὅςRR-NSM λαλέωVAI-AAI3S ἐνPRA-DSN καταβαίνωVZ-AANRA-ASM ἄγγελοςN2-ASM πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM [17]And the king placed his aide in charge of the gate; and the people trod upon him at the gate and he died, as the prophet of God had said when he came down as a messenger to him.
[18]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S καθάD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S *ελισαιεN--NSM πρόςPRA-ASM βασιλεύςN3V-ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM *δίμετρονN2N-NSN κριθήN1-GSF σίκλοςN2-GSM καίC μέτρονN2N-ASN σεμίδαλιςN3I-GSF σίκλοςN2-GSM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὡςCRA-NSF ὥραN1A-NSF οὗτοςRD-NSF αὔριονD ἐνPRA-DSF πύληN1-DSF *σαμαρείαN1A-GSF [18]And it came to pass as the prophet of God had foretold to the king, saying, A measure of fine flour for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel shall be sold tomorrow at this time in the gate of Samaria.

And the prophet had said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.
