| [1]הדא דינ הוית ידע דביומתא אחריא נאתונ זבנא קשׁיא |
[1]This know also, that in the last days shall come perilous times. |
| [2]ונהוונ בנינשׁא רחמי נפשׁהונ ורחמי כספא שׁבהרנא רמא מגדפנא דלאנשׁיהונ לא מתטפיסינ כפרי בטיבותא רשׁיעא |
[2]For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, |
| [3]אכלי קרצא משׁעבדי לרגתא בעריריא סניי טבתא |
[3]Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, despisers of them which are good, |
| [4]משׁלמנא מסרהבא חתירא רחמי רגיגתא טב מנ חובה דאלהא |
[4]Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, |
| [5]דאית להונ אסכמא דדחלת אלהא ומנ חילה רחיקינ אילינ דהכנא אנונ דחוק אנונ מנכ |
[5]Having a show of godliness, but have denied the power thereof: turn away therefore from such. |
| [6]מנהונ אנונ גיר הנונ דמחלדינ בית בתא ושׁבינ נשׁא דטמירנ בחטהא ומתדברנ לרגיגתא משׁחלפתא |
[6]For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive simple women laden with sins, and led with diverse lusts, |
| [7]דבכלזבנ ילפנ וממתומ לידעתא דשׁררא למאתא לא משׁכחנ |
[7]Which women are ever learning, and are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. |
| [8]איכנא דינ דינס וימברס קמו לוקבל מושׁא הכנא אפ הנונ קימינ לוקבל שׁררא אנשׁא דמחבל רעינהונ וסלינ מנ הימנותא |
[8]And as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth, men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. |
| [9]אלא לא נאתונ לקדמיהונ שׁטיותהונ גיר מתידעא הי לכל אנשׁ איכנא דאפ דהנונ אתידעת |
[9]But they shall prevail no longer: for their madness shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also was. |
| [10]אנת דינ אתית בתר יולפני ובתר דוברי ובתר צביני ובתר הימנותי ובתר נגירות רוחי ובתר חובי ובתר מסיברנותי |
[10]� But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of living, purpose, faith, long suffering, love, patience, |
| [11]ובתר רדיפותי ובתר חשׁי וידע אנת אילינ סיברת באנטיכיא ובאיקונונ ובלוסטרא אידא רדיפותא סיברת ומנ כלהינ פציני מרי |
[11]Persecutions, and afflictions which came unto me at Antiochia, at Iconium, and at Lystri, which persecutions I suffered: but from them all the Lord delivered me. |
| [12]וכלהונ דינ אילינ דצבינ בדחלת אלהא דנחונ בישׁוע משׁיחא מתרדפינ |
[12]Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution. |
| [13]בנינשׁא דינ בישׁא ומטעינא נוספונ על בישׁותהונ כד טעינ ומטעינ |
[13]But the evil men and deceivers, shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. |
| [14]אנת דינ קוא באילינ דילפת ואשׁתררת ידע אנת גיר מנ מנו ילפת |
[14]But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, and art persuaded there of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them: |
| [15]ודמנ טליותכ ספרא קדישׁא יליפ אנת דמשׁכחינ דנחכמונכ לחיא בהימנותא דבישׁוע משׁיחא |
[15]And that thou hast known the holy Scriptures of a child, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus. |
| [16]כל כתב דברוחא אתכתב מותרנא הו ליולפנא ולכוונא ולתורצא ולמרדותא דבכאנותא |
[16]For the whole Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teach, to improve, to correct, and to instruct in righteousness, |
| [17]דנהוא גמיר ברנשׁא דאלהא לכל עבד טב ומשׁלמנ |
[17]That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect unto all good works. |
