| [1]AND when the days of pentecost were fulfilled, while they were assembled all together, |
[1]And when were fulfilled the days of Pentecost when assembled they were all of them as one |
| [2]There was suddenly from heaven the voice as of a mighty wind, and all that house in which they were sitting was filled with it; |
[2]There was from suddenly from Heaven a sound like a wind mighty and filled was by it the whole house that in which sitting they were |
| [3]And tongues that were divided like fire appeared to them, and sat upon each one of them. |
[3]And appeared to them tongues that divided were as fire and they sat on each one of them |
| [4]And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in several tongues as the Spirit gave them to speak. |
[4]And were filled all of them with The Spirit of Holiness and proceeding they were to speak in a language a language as whatever The Spirit giving was to them to speak |
| [5]But there were men dwelling in Urishlem who feared Aloha; Jihudoyee, from all the peoples who are under heaven. |
[5]There were but men who were dwelling in Jerusalem who were fearers of Alaha Jews from all nations that are under the heavens |
| [6]And when that voice was made, the whole people assembled and were perturbed, because every man of them heard as they spoke in their [several] tongues. |
[6]And when occurred noise that gathered the entire populace and it was agitated because that heard had each man of them that speaking they were in their languages |
| [7][And] they were all astonished, and wondered, saying one to another, These all who speak, behold, are they not Galiloyee? |
[7]Marvelling they were but all of them and were amazed as saying they were each to the other these all of them who are speaking not? behold Galileans are |
| [8]How hear we [then] each in his own tongue in which we were born? |
[8]How? are hearing we every man his language in which were born we |
| [9]Parthoyee and Medoyee and Alanoyee, and they who dwell in the Place of Rivers,ⓘ Jihudoyee and Kapadukoyee, and of the region of Pontos and of Asia; |
[9]Parthians and Medes and Elanites and those who dwell in Bayth-Nahrayn Judeans and Qapodoqians and who are from the regions of Pontus and of Asia |
| [10]And from the land of Phrygia and of Pamphylia and of Metsreen, and the regions of Lybi neighbouring upon Kyrine, and those who come from Rumi, Jihudoyee, and Proselytes,ⓘ |
[10]And from the regions of the Phrygians and of Pamphylia and of Egypt and of the countries of Libya which are near to Cyrene and those who came from Rome Jews and proselytes |
| [11]And from Krete and Arabia, behold, we hear them speaking in our tongues the wonders of Aloha. |
[11]And who were from Qrete and Arabians behold hearing we are some of them who are speaking in languages our own the wonders of Alaha |
| [12]But all of them were amazed and admired, saying one to another, Of whom is this thing? |
[12]Astonished they were but all of them and they were bewildered as they were saying one to another what? is this affair |
| [13]But others mocked them, saying, These have drunk new wine, and are inebriate. |
[13]Others but mocking were them while they were saying these new wine have drunk and have become drunk |
| [14]And afterwards arose Shemun Kipha with the eleven apostles, and lifted up his voice and said to them: Men, Jihudoyee, and all who dwell at Urishlem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words. |
[14]After this arose Shimeon Kaypha with the Eleven Apostles and he lifted up his voice and he said to them men Jews and all who dwell in Jerusalem this let be known to you give attention to my words |
| [15]For not as you suppose are these drunken; for, behold, until now are [there but] three hours. |
[15]Not for as you are thinking these are drunk for behold until now three are hours |
| [16]But this is that spoken of by Joel the prophet: |
[16]But this is what was spoken by Yoel the prophet |
| [17]It shall be in the last days, saith Aloha, I will pour [out] my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your youths shall see visions, and your elders shall dream dreams: |
[17]It shall be done in the days last says Alaha I shall pour out My Spirit on every body and shall prophesy your sons and your daughters and your young men visions shall see and your elders dreams shall dream |
| [18]And upon the servants and upon the handmaids will I pour my Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. |
[18]And upon My servants and upon My handmaids I shall pour My Spirit in days those and they shall prophesy |
| [19]And I will give signs in heaven, and mighty [deeds] on earth; blood and fire and clouds of smoke: |
[19]And I shall give signs in the heavens and mighty deeds on the earth blood and fire and plumes of smoke |
| [20]The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before shall come the day of the Lord, great and fearful; |
[20]The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood until will come the day of the Lord great and awesome |
| [21]And every one who shall call [upon] the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
[21]And it shall be everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord shall receive life |
| [22]MEN, sons of Israel, hear these words; Jeshu Natsroya, the man who from Aloha appeared with you, with powers and mighty acts, which Aloha wrought among you by his hand, [even] as you know, |
[22]Men sons of Israel hear words these Ieshu The Nazarene The Man Who from Alaha appeared to you with mighty works and with signs and with miracles those that Alaha did among you by His hand as you know |
| [23]This, who was separated thereunto by the foreknowledge and by the will of Aloha, you delivered into the hands of the wicked, and crucified and slew. |
[23]This One Who separated was to Him for this in prior the knowledge and will of Alaha you have betrayed Him you into the hands of the wicked and you crucified and you murdered |
| [24]But Aloha raised him, and loosed the bands of Shiul, because it was not possible that he should be holden in Shiul. |
[24]Alaha but raised Him and He destroyed the destructions of Sheol because because not possible it was for Him to be held captive in it in Sheol |
| [25]For David said concerning him, I have foreseen my Lord at all time, who is at my right hand that I should not be moved; |
[25]Dawid for said about Him it was early I was seeing my Lord always Who upon my right was that not I should be disquieted |
| [26]Wherefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: and also my body shall sojourn in hope; |
[26]Because of this is delighted my heart and celebrates my glory and also my body shall rest upon hope |
| [27]For thou wilt not leave my soul in Shiul, nor give thy Saint to see corruption. |
[27]Because that not left You My soul in Sheol and not gave You to Your Pure One to see destruction |
| [28]Thou wilt reveal to me the way of life, thou wilt fill me with joy with thy presence. |
[28]You have shown to Me the way of life You shall fill Me O' Gladness with Your Presence |
| [29]Men, brethren, suffer me to speak openly with you concerning the chief-father David, that he is dead and also buried, and his sepulchre is with us till this day. |
[29]Men brothers it is permitted to speak eyes with open unto you about the chief father Dawid who died and also he was buried and the house of his burial is with us until today |
| [30]For he was a prophet, and knew that the oath Aloha had sworn to him, Of the fruit of thy loins I will cause to sit upon thy throne: |
[30]A prophet he was for and knew he an oath had sworn to him Alaha "One from the fruit of your body I shall seat upon your throne" |
| [31]And he foresaw and spake concerning, the resurrection of the Meshiha, that He would not be left in Shiul, nor would his body see corruption. |
[31]And before he saw and he spoke about the resurrection of The Messiah that not He shall be left in Sheol neither His body would see corruption |
| [32]This Jeshu hath Aloha raised, and we all are his witnesses. |
[32]This Ieshu has raised Alaha and we are all of us His witnesses |
| [33]And he it is who at the right hand of Aloha is exalted, and hath received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, and hath shed forth this gift, which, behold, you see and you hear. |
[33]And He is The One at the right hand of Alaha exalted and He has received from The Father a promise which is about The Spirit of Holiness and has poured out gift this which behold seeing you are and are hearing you are |
| [34]For David hath not ascended into heaven, because he himself hath said, The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand |
[34]Not had for Dawid ascended to Heaven because he said said the Lord to my Lord sit You at My right |
| [35]Until I place thine adversaries the stool of thy feet. |
[35]Until I set Your enemies a footstool for Your feet |
| [36]Assuredly, then, let all the house of Israel know, that Lord and Meshiha hath Aloha made this Jeshu, whom you crucified. |
[36]Truly therefore let know the whole house of Israel that the Lord and The Messiah has made Alaha this Ieshu Whom you you have crucified |
| [37]AND when they heard, they were pierced in their heart,ⓘ and said to Shemun and to the rest of the apostles, What shall we do, brethren? |
[37]And when they heard these things they were stricken in their hearts and they said to Shimeon and to the rest of the Apostles what? should we do brethren |
| [38]Shemun saith to them, Repent, and be baptized, every man of you, in the name of the Lord Jeshu, for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. |
[38]Said to them Shimeon return to Alaha and be immersed every man of you in The Name of Lord Ieshu for the release from sin that you may receive the gift of The Spirit of Holiness |
| [39]For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all them who are afar off, whom Aloha himself shall call. |
[39]To you for was the promise and to your children and to all those who are far off those whom Alaha may call them |
| [40]And with many other words he testified to them and entreated of them, saying, Save [yourselves] from this perverse generation. |
[40]And with words other many testifying he was to them and beseeching he was of them as he said be saved from generation this perverse |
| [41]And some of them eagerly received his word and believed and were baptized, and there were added in that day as three thousand souls. |
[41]And people among them readily they received his word and they believed and they were immersed and were added in that day about three thousand souls |
| [42]And they were faithful in the doctrine of the apostles, and participated in prayer and in the breaking of the eucharist. |
[42]And continuing they were in the teaching of the Apostles and made partakers they were in prayer and in breaking of the Eucharist |
| [43]And solemnity was on every soul; and many signs and mighty acts were done by the hand of the apostles in Urishlem. |
[43]And occurring there was fear to every soul and signs many and miracles occurring were by the hand the Apostles in Jerusalem |
| [44]And all those who believed were together, and every thing they had was in common. |
[44]And all those who believed had as one were and everything that was to them internal-communal was |
| [45]And they who had property sold it, and divided to each according to that which he needed. |
[45]And those who were to them a possession selling they were it and distributing they were to each man according to whatever needed was |
| [46]And every day they continued in the temple with one soul, and in the house they brake the bread, and took their food rejoicing and in the cleanness of their hearts, |
[46]And every day continuing they were in the temple in one soul and in houses breaking they were loaves of bread and receiving they were food as they celebrated and in the simplicity of their heart |
| [47]Praising Aloha, [and] given [to be] in favour before all the people. And our Lord added daily them who were saved into the church. |
[47]Praising they were to Alaha as they were given affection before all the people and our Lord adding was every day those who were coming to life into the church |
