[1]And asked him High The Priest if it is that these things so are [1]And the chief of the priests demanded if these [things] were so?
[2]He but said men brothers and fathers hear The Alaha of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Bayth-Nahrayn while not he would have come to dwell in Kharan [2]But he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hear! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was between the rivers, [and while] he had not yet come to dwell in Charan,
[3]And said He to him "Depart from your land and from the presence of the children of your relatives and come to the land which I shall show you [3]And said to him, Go forth from thy country and from [being] with the sons of thy family, and come to the land that I will show thee.
[4]And then went out Abraham from the land of The Chaldeans and came dwelt in Kharan and from there when died his father removed him Alaha to land this in which dwell you today [4]Then went forth Abraham from the land of the Kaldoyee, and came and dwelt in Charan: and from thence, his father being dead, Aloha caused him to pass into this land in which you dwell to-day.
[5]And not he gave to him an inheritance in it also not a footprint of the foot and promised He to give it to him as to inherit it for himself and for his seed when not there was for him a son [5]And [yet] he gave him no inheritance in it, nor a place of the feet, but he promised to give it to him for an heritage to himself and to his seed, while as yet he had not a son.
[6]And speaking was with him Alaha when He said to him "Shall be your seed a stranger in a land foreign" and they will enslave him and they will afflict him four hundred years [6]And Aloha spake with him, telling him that his seed should be a sojourner in a strange land, and that they would enslave and ill-treat them four hundred years.
[7]And that people whom they serve servitude shall judge it I says Alaha and from after these things they shall go out and they shall serve Me in place this [7]And the nation whom they will serve [in] bondage will I judge, saith Aloha: and afterward they shall come forth and serve me in this place.
[8]And he gave him the covenant of circumcision and then begot Ishaq and circumcised him on the day eighth and Ishaq begot Yaqob and Yaqob begot twelve our fathers [8]And he gave to him the covenant of circumcision. And then begat he Ishok, and circumcised him on the eighth day, and Ishok begat Jakub, and Jakub begat our twelve fathers.
[9]And they our fathers were jealous of Yoseph and sold him to Egypt and Alaha with him was [9]And these our fathers were incited against Jauseph, and sold him into Mitsreen. And Aloha was with him:
[10]And save him He did from all of them his sufferings and he gave him grace and wisdom before Pharoah The King of Egypt and appointed him The Ruler over Egypt and over his house entire [10]And he delivered him from all his afflictions, and gave him grace and wisdom before Pherun king of Mitsreen, and he appointed him prince over Mitsreen, and over all his house.
[11]And there was a famine and distress great in all Egypt and in the land of Canaan and there not was to them to satisfy our fathers [11]AND there was a famine and great affliction in all Mitsreen, and in the land of Kenaan, and our fathers had nothing to satisfy them.
[12]And when heard Yaqob that there was produce in Egypt sent he our fathers first [12]And when Jakub heard that there was corn in Mitsreen, he sent forth our fathers before.
[13]And when they went the second time made known Yoseph himself to his brothers and was made known to Pharoah the family of Yoseph [13]And when they had gone the second time, Jauseph made himself known to his brethren, and the family of Jauseph were made known unto Pherun.
[14]And send did Joseph and brought his father Yaqob and all his family and being they were in number seventy and five souls [14]And Jauseph sent and brought his father Jakub and all his family, and they were in number seventy and five souls.
[15]And went down Yaqob to Egypt and died there he and our fathers [15]And Jakub went down into Mitsreen and died there; he and our fathers.
[16]And he was moved to Shekim and was placed in a tomb which bought had Abraham with silver from sons of Hamor [16]And he was removed to Shechem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought with silver from the B'nai Chamur.
[17]And when arrived had the time of that which promised had in an oath Alaha to Abraham multiplied had the people and had grown strong in Egypt [17]And when was come the time of that which Aloha promised with an oath unto Abraham, the people had multiplied and increased in Mitsreen
[18]Until arose king another over Egypt who that not knew had him Yoseph [18]Until another king had arisen over Mitsreen, who knew not Jauseph,
[19]He was crafty toward our race and did evil to our fathers and commanded to be casting out their male infants that not they would live [19]And he dealt fraudulently against our kindred, and shamefully entreated our fathers, and commanded that their children should be cast away, that they might not live.
[20]In it in time that was begotten Moshe and dear was to Alaha and was raised months three in the house of his father [20]In that time Musha was born, and was beloved of Aloha, and was brought up three months in the house of his father.
[21]And when he was cast out from his mother found him the daughter of Pharaoh and she raised him for her son [21]And when he was outcast from his people, the daughter of Pherun found him, and brought him up unto her for a son.
[22]And was instructed Moshe in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and prepared was in his words and also in his deeds [22]And Musha was instructed in all the wisdom of the Mitsroyee, and was excellent in words [and] also in deeds.
[23]And when he was son of forty years came up it upon his heart to visit his brethren children of Israel [23]And when he became a son of forty years, it arose upon his heart to visit his brethren the sons of Israel.
[24]And he saw one from the sons of his tribe being compelled by violence and avenged him and executed for him justice and killed him Egyptian that who wronged had him [24]And he saw one of the sons of his tribe treated with violence, and he avenged him, and did him justice, and he killed the Mitsroya who had offended him
[25]And he had hoped that would have understood his brethren sons of Israel that Alaha by his hand would give them deliverance and not they understood [25]And hoped that his brethren, the sons of Israel, would understand that Aloha by his hand would give them deliverance; but they understood not.
[26]And day another appeared to them when contended they one with another and appealing he was to them to be reconciled when he said men brothers you are because of what? do wrong you one another [26]And the day after he appeared to them while they strove one with another: and he persuaded them to be pacified, saying, Men, you are brethren; why offend you one the other?
[27]He but who doing wrong was to his fellow thrust him away from him and said to him who? appointed you over us the Ruler and the Judge [27]But he who had offended his neighbour removed himself from him, and said to him, Who appointed thee over us a prince and a judge?
[28]Interrogative to kill me wish you as you killed yesterday the Egyptian [28]Seekest thou to kill me as thou killedst the Mitsroya yesterday?
[29]And fled Moshe at saying this and he was a traveler in the land of Midian and there were to him two sons [29]And Musha fled at that word, and became a sojourner in the land of Median, and there were to him two sons.
[30]And when were fulfilled to him there forty years appeared to him in the wilderness of the Mountain Sinai The Angel of the Lord in the fire which burned in a bush [30]AND when forty years were there fulfilled to him, there appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai the angel of the Lord in a flame that burned in a bush.
[31]And when saw Moshe he marveled at the vision and when he approached to see said to him the Lord in a voice [31]And while Musha looked, he wondered at the sight. And as he drew near to gaze, the Lord spake to him with the voice:
[32]I am Alaha of your fathers The Alaha of Abraham and of Ishaq and of Yaqob and as trembling was Moshe not daring he was to gaze at the vision [32]I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham and of Ishok and of Jakub. And Musha, trembling, dared not look upon the sight.
[33]And said to him the Lord loose your shoes from your feet the ground for stand you on which holy is [33]And the Lord said to him, Loose thy sandals from thy feet: for the ground on which thou standest is holy.
[34]Looking I have seen the suffering of My people who in Egypt and its groans I have heard and I have come down to save them and now come I shall send you to Egypt [34]Seeing I have seen the affliction of my people who [are] in Mitsreen, and his groaning I have heard, and I have descended that I may deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Mitsreen.
[35]This Moshe whom they rejected him when they were saying "Who appointed you over us the Ruler and the Judge to him this one Alaha the ruler and deliverer sent to them by the hand of angel that who appeared to him at the bush [35]This Musha whom they denied, when they said, Who appointed thee over us a prince and a judge? this, sent Aloha unto them a prince and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him at the bush.
[36]This is he who sent out them when he did signs and wonders and mighty works in the land of Egypt and at The Sea of Reeds and in the wilderness years forty [36]This brought them out, when he had wrought signs and wonders and mighty deeds in the land of Mitsreen, and at the Sea of Suph, and in the desert forty years.
[37]This Moshe is he who said to the children of Israel "a prophet shall appoint to you the Lord Alaha from your brethren like me to him you shall listen [37]THIS is that Musha, who said to the sons of Israel, A Prophet will Aloha the Lord raise up unto you from your brethren, like me; him shall you hear.
[38]This is who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel him who spoken had with him and with our fathers in The Mountain of Sinai and he was receiving] the words living which to us he would give [38]This is he who was with the congregation in the desert, with the angel himself who spake with him and with our fathers at the mountain of Sinai; and he it was who received the words of life to give [them] to us.
[39]And not chose to obey him our fathers but forsook him and in their hearts they returned them to Egypt [39]And our fathers willed not to give heed to him, but left him, and in their hearts turned back to Mitsreen,
[40]When they were saying to Ahron make for us gods to go before us because this Moshe who brought us out from the land of Egypt not know we what? has become of him [40]Saying to Aharun, Make us alohee that may go before us, because this Musha, who brought us forth from the land of Mitsreen, we know not what is become of him.
[41]And they made to them a calf in days those and they sacrificed sacrifices to the idol and delighting were in the work of their hands [41]And he made them the calf in those days, and they sacrificed sacrifices to idols, and were delighted with the work of their hands.
[42]And turned Alaha and handed over them to become worshippers to the hosts of the heavens so as it is written in the scriptures of the prophets Why? forty years in the wilderness animals or sacrifices have you brought to me sons of Israel [42]And Aloha turned, and delivered them up to be worshippers of the hosts of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, Forty years in the desert victims or sacrifices did you offer to me, sons of Israel?
[43]But you carried the tabernacle of Malkom and the star of the god of Rephan of images which you have made to be worshiping them I shall move you farther than Babel [43]But you took up the tabernacle of Malkum, and the star of the god of Raphan, images you have made to worship them; I will remove you beyond Babel.
[44]Behold the tabernacle of the testimony of our fathers in the wilderness being was as whatever commanded He Who spoke with Moshe to make it in the fashion which He showed him [44]BEHOLD, the tabernacle of testimony of our fathers was in the desert, as He who spake with Musha had commanded to make it after the pattern which he had seen.
[45]And it the same tabernacle also brought and carried it our fathers with Ieshu to the land that gave to them Alaha an inheritance from nations those which He drove out from before them and it was carried until the days of Dawid [45]And this tabernacle also our fathers bringing brought in with Jeshu to the land which Aloha had given to them, an inheritance from those peoples whom he had expelled from before them, and it was carried until the days of David;
[46]Him who found affection before Him Who is Alaha and he asked to find a tabernacle for The Alaha of Yaqob [46]Who found favour before Aloha, and asked to find a tabernacle for the God of Jakub.
[47]Solomon but built for Him a house [47]But Shelemun builded the house.
[48]And The Exalted One not dwell in the product of hands as says The Prophet [48]But the Most High dwelleth not in the work of hands, as saith the prophet,
[49]"Heaven My throne and the earth the stool which under My feet where is? the house that you will build for me says the Lord or where is? the place of My rest [49]Heaven is my throne, and earth the footstool beneath my feet: what house will you build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
[50]Not? behold hand My has made these things all" [50]Hath not my hand made all these?
[51]Oh! stiff necks and who not are circumcised in their hearts and in their hearing you always against The Spirit of Holiness standing are as your fathers also you are [51]O, hardened of neck and uncircumcised in your hearts and in your hearing, you at all times against the Spirit of Holiness stand up; as your fathers, so you also.
[52]Which? for of the prophets whom not have persecuted and have murdered your fathers those who before searched out concerning the coming of The Righteous One Him Whom you you have betrayed and you have killed Him [52]For which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted and slain? they who before announced the coming of the Righteous; him whom you delivered up and slew.
[53]And you have received The Law by the visitation of angels and not you have kept it [53]And you have received the law by the precept of angels, and have not kept it.
[54]And when heard they had these things they were filled with rage in themselves and gnashing they were with their teeth upon him [54]AND when they heard these they were filled with wrath in themselves, and they gnashed their teeth upon him.
[55]And he when full he was of faith and The Spirit of Holiness gazed into Heaven and saw the glory of Alaha and Ieshu as He stood at the right side of Alaha [55]And he, being full of faith and of the Spirit of Holiness, looked up to heaven, and saw the glory of Aloha, and Jeshu standing at the right hand of Aloha.
[56]And he said behold see I the heavens as they open and The Son of Man as He stands at the right hand of Alaha [56]And he said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of Aloha.
[57]And they yelled with a voice loud and they stopped up their ears and they rushed upon him all of them [57]And they cried with a high voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed upon him, all of them,
[58]And they seized they brought him outside of the city and stoning they were him and those who testified against him they placed their robes at the feet of a young man one who is called Shaul [58]And seizing they brought him out of the city and stoned him. And they who witnessed against him laid their garments before the feet of a certain young man named Shaol.
[59]And stoning they were him Estephenos as he prayed and said our Lord Ieshu accept my spirit [59]And they stoned Estephanos, [he] praying and saying, Our Lord Jeshu, receive my spirit.
[60]And when he set down the knees he cried out in a voice loud and he said our Lord not cause to stand against them this sin and when this he had said he fell asleep [60]And kneeling down, he cried with a high voice, and said, Our Lord, let not this sin arise against them. And when this he had said, he slept.
