[1]If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that [the judges] may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. |
| [2]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐάνC ἄξιοςA1A-NSM εἰμίV9-PAS3S πληγήN1-GPF ὁRA-NSM ἀσεβέωV2-PAPNSM καίC καταἵζωVF2-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἔναντιP ὁRA-GPM κριτήςN1M-GPM καίC μαστιγόωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐναντίονP αὐτόςRD-GPM κατάP ὁRA-ASF ἀσέβειαN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀριθμόςN2-DSM |
[2]And it shall be, if the wicked man [be] worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. |
| [3]τεσσαράκονταM μαστιγόωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM οὐD προςτίθημιVF-FAI3P ἐάνC δέX προςτίθημιVE-AAS3P μαστιγόωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASM ὑπέρP οὗτοςRD-APF ὁRA-APF πληγήN1-APF πολύςA3C-APF ἀσχημονέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS |
[3]Forty stripes he may give him, [and] not exceed: lest, [if] he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee. |

[4]Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out [the corn]. |
| [5]ἐάνC δέX καταοἰκέωV2-PAS3P ἀδελφόςN2-NPM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN αὐτόςRD-ASN καίC ἀποθνήσκωVB-AAS3S εἷςA3-NSM ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM σπέρμαN3M-ASN δέX μήD εἰμίV9-PAS3S αὐτόςRD-DSM οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF γυνήN3K-NSF ὁRA-GSM θνήσκωVX-XAPGSM ἔξωD ἀνήρN3-DSM μήD ἐγγίζωV1-PAPDSM ὁRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM ἀνήρN3-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSF εἰςἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC λαμβάνωVF-FMI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM γυνήN3K-ASF καίC συνοἰκέωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSF |
[5]If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. |
| [6]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-ASN παιδίονN2N-ASN ὅςRR-NSN ἐάνC τίκτωVB-AAS3S καταἵστημιVC-FPI3S ἐκP ὁRA-GSN ὄνομαN3M-GSN ὁRA-GSM τελευτάωVX-XAPGSM καίC οὐD ἐκἀλείφωVV-FPI3S ὁRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκP *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[6]And it shall be, [that] the firstborn son which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother [which is] dead, that his name be not put out of Israel. |
| [7]ἐάνC δέX μήD βούλομαιV1-PMS3S ὁRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM λαμβάνωVB-AAN ὁRA-ASF γυνήN3K-ASF ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἀναβαίνωVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF γυνήN3K-NSF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF πύληN1-ASF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γερουσίαN1A-ASF καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI3S οὐD θέλωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM ἀνήρN3-GSM ἐγώRP-GS ἀναἵστημιVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνP *ἰσραήλN--DSM οὐD θέλωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM ἀνήρN3-GSM ἐγώRP-GS |
[7]And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother. |
| [8]καίC καλέωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ὁRA-NSF γερουσίαN1A-NSF ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM καίC ἵστημιVH-AAPNSM εἶπονVB-AAS3S οὐD βούλομαιV1-PMI1S λαμβάνωVB-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASF |
[8]Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and [if] he stand [to it], and say, I like not to take her; |
| [9]καίC προςἔρχομαιVB-AAPNSF ὁRA-NSF γυνήN3K-NSF ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἔναντιP ὁRA-GSF γερουσίαN1A-GSF καίC ὑπολύωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASN ὑπόδημαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-ASN εἷςA3-ASN ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM πούςN3D-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἐνπτύωVF-FMI3S εἰςP ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἀποκρίνωVC-APPNSF εἶπονVF2-FAI3S οὕτωςD ποιέωVF-FAI3P ὁRA-DSM ἄνθρωποςN2-DSM ὅςRR-NSM οὐD οἰκοδομέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[9]Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house. |

[10]And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed. |
| [11]ἐάνC δέX μάχομαιV1-PMS3P ἄνθρωποςN2-NPM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN αὐτόςRD-ASN ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM μετάP ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC προςἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S γυνήN3K-NSF εἷςA3-GSM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐκαἱρέωVB-AMN ὁRA-ASM ἀνήρN3-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐκP χείρN3-GSF ὁRA-GSM τύπτωV1-PAPGSM αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC ἐκτείνωVA-AAPNSF ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπιλαμβάνωVB-AMS3S ὁRA-GPM δίδυμοςA1-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[11]When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: |
| [12]ἀποκόπτωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSF οὐD φείδομαιVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-DSF |
[12]Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity [her]. |
| [13]οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM μάρσιπποςN2-DSM σύRP-GS στάθμιονN2-NSN καίC στάθμιονN2-NSN μέγαςA1P-NSN ἤC μικρόςA1A-NSN |
[13]Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small. |
| [14]οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSF οἰκίαN1A-DSF σύRP-GS μέτρονN2N-NSN καίC μέτρονN2N-NSN μέγαςA1P-NSN ἤC μικρόςA1A-NSN |
[14]Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small. |
| [15]στάθμιονN2-NSN ἀληθινόςA1-NSN καίC δίκαιοςA1A-NSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S σύRP-DS καίC μέτρονN2N-NSN ἀληθινόςA1-NSM καίC δίκαιοςA1A-NSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S σύRP-DS ἵναC πολυήμεροςA1B-NSM γίγνομαιVB-AMS2S ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὅςRR-GSF κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS δίδωμιV8-PAI3S σύRP-DS ἐνP κλῆροςN2-DSM |
[15][But] thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. |
| [16]ὅτιC βδέλυγμαN3M-NSN κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS πᾶςA3-NSM ποιέωV2-PAPNSM οὗτοςRD-APN πᾶςA3-NSM ποιέωV2-PAPNSM ἄδικοςA1B-ASN |
[16]For all that do such things, [and] all that do unrighteously, [are] an abomination unto the LORD thy God. |
| [17]μιμνήσκωVS-APD2S ὅσοςA1-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-DS *αμαληκN--NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ὁδόςN2-DSF ἐκπορεύομαιV1-PMPGSM σύRP-GS ἐκP *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[17]Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt; |
| [18]πῶςD ἀντιἵστημιVHI-AAI3S σύRP-DS ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ὁδόςN2-DSF καίC κόπτωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-GS ὁRA-ASF οὐραγίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-APM κοπιάωV3-PAPAPM ὀπίσωP σύRP-GS σύRP-NS δέX πεινάωVAI-AAI2S καίC κοπιάωVAI-AAI2S καίC οὐD φοβέωVCI-API3S ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM |
[18]How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, [even] all [that were] feeble behind thee, when thou [wast] faint and weary; and he feared not God. |

[19]Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance to possess it, [that] thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget [it]. |
