[1]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, Yet will I bringH935[H8686] oneH259 plagueH5061 more upon PharaohH6547, and upon EgyptH4714; afterwardsH310 he will let you goH7971[H8762] hence: when he shall let you goH7971[H8763], he shall surelyH1644[H8763] thrust you outH1644[H8762] hence altogetherH3617. |
[1]And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. |
[2]SpeakH1696[H8761] now in the earsH241 of the peopleH5971, and let every manH376 borrowH7592[H8799] of his neighbourH7453, and every womanH802 of her neighbourH7468, jewelsH3627 of silverH3701, and jewelsH3627 of goldH2091. |
[2]Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold. |
[3]And the LORDH3068 gaveH5414[H8799] the peopleH5971 favourH2580 in the sightH5869 of the EgyptiansH4714. Moreover the manH376 MosesH4872 was veryH3966 greatH1419 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, in the sightH5869 of Pharaoh'sH6547 servantsH5650, and in the sightH5869 of the peopleH5971. |
[3]And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. |
[4]And MosesH4872 saidH559[H8799], Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068, About midnightH3915[H2676] will I go outH3318[H8802] into the midstH8432 of EgyptH4714: |
[4]And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: |
[5]And all the firstbornH1060 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 shall dieH4191[H8804], from the firstbornH1060 of PharaohH6547 that sittethH3427[H8802] upon his throneH3678, even unto the firstbornH1060 of the maidservantH8198 that is behindH310 the millH7347; and all the firstbornH1060 of beastsH929. |
[5]And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. |
[6]And there shall beH1961[H8738] a greatH1419 cryH6818 throughout all the landH776 of EgyptH4714, such as there was noneH3808 like it, norH3808 shall be like it any moreH3254.[H8686] |
[6]And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. |
[7]But against any of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 shall not a dogH3611 moveH2782[H8799] his tongueH3956, against manH376 or beastH929: that ye may knowH3045[H8799] how that the LORDH3068 doth put a differenceH6395[H8686] between the EgyptiansH4714 and IsraelH3478. |
[7]But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. |
[8]And all these thy servantsH5650 shall come downH3381[H8804] unto me, and bow downH7812[H8694] themselves unto me, sayingH559[H8800], Get thee outH3318[H8798], and all the peopleH5971 that followH7272 thee: and afterH310 that I will go outH3318[H8799]. And he went outH3318[H8799] from PharaohH6547 in a greatH2750 angerH639. |
[8]And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger. |
[9]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, PharaohH6547 shall not hearkenH8085[H8799] unto you; that my wondersH4159 may be multipliedH7235[H8800] in the landH776 of EgyptH4714. |
[9]And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. |
[10]And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 didH6213[H8804] all these wondersH4159 beforeH6440 PharaohH6547: and the LORDH3068 hardenedH2388[H8762] Pharaoh'sH6547 heartH3820, so that he would not let the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 go outH7971[H8765] of his landH776. |
[10]And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land. |
