| [2]λαλέωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ἀποστρέφωVA-AAPNPM στρατοπεδεύωVA-AAD3P ἀπέναντιP ὁRA-GSF ἔπαυλιςN3I-GSF ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASN *μαγδώλοςN2-GSM καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF ἐκP ἐναντίοςA1A-GSF *βεελσεπφωνN--S ἐνώπιονP αὐτόςRD-GPM στρατοπεδεύωVF-FAI2S ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF |
[2]Speak to the children of Israel, that they return and camp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: about it shall ye camp by the sea. |
| [3]καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI3S *φαραώN--NSM ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM πλανάωV3-PMI3P οὗτοςRD-NPM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF συνκλείωVX-XAI3S γάρX αὐτόςRD-APM ὁRA-NSF ἔρημοςN2-NSF |
[3]For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are tangled in the land: the wilderness hath shut them in. |
| [4]ἐγώRP-NS δέX σκληρύνωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC καταδιώκωVF-FMI3S ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐνδοξάζομαιVS-FPI1S ἐνP *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF ὁRA-DSF στρατιάN1A-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3P οὕτωςD |
[4]And I will harden Pharaoh's heart that he shall follow after you: so I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host: the Egyptians also shall know that I am the Lord: and they did so. |
| [5]καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVDI-API3S ὁRA-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ὅτιC φεύγωVX-XAI3S ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM καίC μεταστρέφωVDI-API3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P τίςRI-NSN οὗτοςRD-NSN ποιέωVAI-AAI1P ὁRA-GSN ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-GSM μήD δουλεύωV1-PAN ἐγώRP-DP |
[5]Then it was told the king of Egypt, that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we this done, and have let Israel go out of our service? |

[6]And he made ready his chariots, and took his people with him, |
| [7]καίC λαμβάνωVB-AAPNSM ἑξακόσιοιA1A-APN ἅρμαN3M-APN ἐκλεκτόςA1-APN καίC πᾶςA1S-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἵπποςN2-ASF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM καίC τριστάτηςN1M-APM ἐπίP πᾶςA3-GPN |
[7]And took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. |
| [8]καίC σκληρύνωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC καταδιώκωVAI-AAI3S ὀπίσωP ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GPM ὁRA-NPM δέX υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GPM ἐκπορεύομαιV1I-IMI3P ἐνP χείρN3-DSF ὑψηλόςA1-DSF |
[8](For the Lord had hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he followed after the children of Israel: but the children of Israel went out with an high hand) |
| [9]καίC καταδιώκωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC εὑρίσκωVA-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-APM παρα ἐνβάλλωVX-XAPAPM παράP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC πᾶςA1S-NSF ὁRA-NSF ἵπποςN2-NSF καίC ὁRA-NPN ἅρμαN3M-NPN *φαραώN--GSM καίC ὁRA-NPM ἱππεύςN3V-NPM καίC ὁRA-NSF στρατιάN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀπέναντιP ὁRA-GSF ἔπαυλιςN3I-GSF ἐκP ἐναντίοςA1A-GSF *βεελσεπφωνN--S |
[9]And the Egyptians pursued after them, and all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen and his host overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, before Baal-zephon. |
| [10]καίC *φαραώN--NSM προςἄγωV1I-IAI3S καίC ἀναβλέπωVA-AAPNPM ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-DPM ὀφθαλμόςN2-DPM ὁράωV3-PAI3P καίC ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM στρατοπεδεύωVAI-AAI3P ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC φοβέωVCI-API3P σφόδραD ἀναβοάωVAI-AAI3P δέX ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM |
[10]And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lift up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them, and they were sore afraid: wherefore the children of Israel cried unto the Lord. |
| [11]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM παράP ὁRA-ASN μήD ὑποἄρχωV1-PAN μνῆμαN3M-APN ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-AP θανατόωVA-AAN ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἔρημοςN2-DSF τίςRI-NSN οὗτοςRD-NSN ποιέωVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DP ἐκἄγωVB-AAPNSM ἐκP *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[11]And they said unto Moses, Hast thou brought us to die in the wilderness, because there were no graves in Egypt? Wherefore hast thou served us thus, to carry us out of Egypt? |
| [12]οὐD οὗτοςRD-NSN εἰμίV9-IAI3S ὁRA-NSN ῥῆμαN3M-NSN ὅςRR-ASN λαλέωVAI-AAI1P πρόςP σύRP-AS ἐνP *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF λέγωV1-PAPNPM παραἵημιVE-AAD2S ἐγώRP-AP ὅπωςC δουλεύωVA-AAS1P ὁRA-DPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-DPM κρείσσωνA3C-ASN γάρX ἐγώRP-AP δουλεύωV1-PAN ὁRA-DPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-DPM ἤC ἀποθνήσκωVB-AAN ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἔρημοςN2-DSF οὗτοςRD-DSF |
[12]Did not we tell thee this thing in Egypt, saying, Let us be in rest, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. |
| [13]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM πρόςP ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM θαρρέωV2-PAD2P ἵστημιVH-AAD2P καίC ὁράωV3-PAD2P ὁRA-ASF σωτηρίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-ASF παράP ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ὅςRR-ASF ποιέωVF-FAI3S ἐγώRP-DP σήμερονD ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM γάρX ὁράωVX-XAI2P ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM σήμερονD οὐD προςτίθημιVF-FMI2P ἔτιD ὁράωVB-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP ὁRA-ASM αἰώνN3W-ASM χρόνοςN2-ASM |
[13]Then Moses said to the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and behold the salvation of the Lord which he will show to you this day. For the Egyptians, whom ye have seen this day, ye shall never see them again. |
| [14]κύριοςN2-NSM πολεμέωVF-FAI3S περίP σύRP-GP καίC σύRP-NP σιγάωVF-FAI2P |
[14]The Lord shall fight for you: therefore hold you your peace. |
| [15]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM τίςRI-ASN βοάωV3-PAI2S πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λαλέωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ἀναζευγνύωVA-AAD3P |
[15]And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore cryest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward: |
| [16]καίC σύRP-NS ἐπιαἴρωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-DSF ῥάβδοςN2-DSF σύRP-GS καίC ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC ῥήγνυμιVA-AAD2S αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAD3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM εἰςP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF κατάP ὁRA-ASN ξηρόςA1A-ASN |
[16]And lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the sea and divide it, and let the children of Israel go on dry ground thorough the midst of the sea. |
| [17]καίC ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS σκληρύνωVF2-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM πᾶςA3-GPM καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐνδοξάζομαιVS-FPI1S ἐνP *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF ὁRA-DSF στρατιάN1A-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ἅρμαN3M-DPN καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPM ἵπποςN2-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[17]And I, behold I will harden the heart of the Egyptians, that they may follow them, and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| [18]καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐνδοξάζωV1-PMPGSM ἐγώRP-GS ἐνP *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ἅρμαN3M-DPN καίC ἵπποςN2-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[18]Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. |
| [19]ἐκαἴρωVAI-AAI3S δέX ὁRA-NSM ἄγγελοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ὁRA-NSM προπορεύομαιV1-PMPNSM ὁRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC πορεύομαιVCI-API3S ἐκP ὁRA-GPN ὄπισθεD ἐκαἴρωVAI-AAI3S δέX καίD ὁRA-NSM στῦλοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSF νεφέληN1-GSF ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ἐκP ὁRA-GPN ὀπίσωD αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[19](And the Angel of God, which went before the host of Israel, removed and went behind them: also the pillar of the cloud went from before them, and stood behind them, |
| [20]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF παρεμβολήN1-GSF *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ἵστημιVHI-AAI3S καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S σκότοςN3E-NSN καίC γνόφοςN2-NSM καίC διαἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF νύξN3-NSF καίC οὐD συνμίγνυμιVAI-AAI3P ἀλλήλωRD-DPM ὅλοςA1-ASF ὁRA-ASF νύξN3-ASF |
[20]And came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel: it was both a cloud and darkness, yet gave it light by night, so that all the night long the one came not at the other) |
| [21]ἐκτείνωVAI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC ὑποἄγωVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF ἐνP ἄνεμοςN2-DSM νότοςN2-DSM βίαιοςA1A-DSM ὅλοςA1-ASF ὁRA-ASF νύξN3-ASF καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF ξηρόςA1A-ASF καίC σχίζωVSI-API3S ὁRA-NSN ὕδωρN3-NSN |
[21]And Moses stretched forth his hand upon the sea, and the Lord caused the sea to run back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land: for the waters were divided. |
| [22]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM εἰςP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF κατάP ὁRA-ASN ξηρόςA1A-ASN καίC ὁRA-NSN ὕδωρN3-NSN αὐτόςRD-DPM τεῖχοςN3E-NSN ἐκP δεξιόςA1A-GPN καίC τεῖχοςN3E-NSN ἐκP εὐώνυμοςA1B-GPN |
[22]Then the children of Israel went through the midst of the sea upon the dry ground, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left hand. |
| [23]καταδιώκωVAI-AAI3P δέX ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3P ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM πᾶςA1S-NSF ὁRA-NSF ἵπποςN2-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC ὁRA-APN ἅρμαN3M-APN καίC ὁRA-NPM ἀναβάτηςN1M-NPM εἰςP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF |
[23]And the Egyptians pursued and went after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. |
| [24]γίγνομαιVCI-API3S δέX ἐνP ὁRA-DSF φυλακήN1-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἑωθινόςA1-DSF καίC ἐπιβλέπωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ἐνP στῦλοςN2-DSM πῦρN3-GSN καίC νεφέληN1-GSF καίC συνταράσσωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF παρεμβολήN1-ASF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM |
[24]Now in the morning watch, when the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians, out of the fiery and cloudy pillar, he stroke the host of the Egyptians with fear. |
| [25]καίC συνδέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APM ἄξωνN3-APM ὁRA-GPN ἅρμαN3M-GPN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἄγωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM μετάP βίαN1A-GSF καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM φεύγωVB-AAS1P ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-NSM γάρX κύριοςN2-NSM πολεμέωV2-PAI3S περίP αὐτόςRD-GPM ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM |
[25]For he took off their chariot wheels, and they drove them with much ado: so that the Egyptians every one said, I will flee from the face of Israel: for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians. |
| [26]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVH-AAD3S ὁRA-NSN ὕδωρN3-NSN καίC ἐπικαλύπτωVA-AAD3S ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM ἐπίP τεX ὁRA-APN ἅρμαN3M-APN καίC ὁRA-APM ἀναβάτηςN1M-APM |
[26]Then the Lord said to Moses, Stretch thine hand upon the sea, that the waters may return upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots and upon their horsemen. |
| [27]ἐκτείνωVAI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSN ὕδωρN3-NSN πρόςP ἡμέραN1A-ASF ἐπίP χώραN1A-GSF ὁRA-NPM δέX *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM φεύγωVBI-AAI3P ὑπόP ὁRA-ASN ὕδωρN3-ASN καίC ἐκτινάσσωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF |
[27]Then Moses stretched forth his hand upon the sea, and the sea returned to his force early in the morning, and the Egyptians fled against it: but the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. |
| [28]καίC ἐπι ἀναστρέφωVD-APPNSN ὁRA-NSN ὕδωρN3-NSN καλύπτωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APN ἅρμαN3M-APN καίC ὁRA-APM ἀναβάτηςN1M-APM καίC πᾶςA1S-ASF ὁRA-ASF δύναμιςN3I-ASF *φαραώN--GSM ὁRA-APM εἰςπορεύομαιVM-XMPAPM ὀπίσωP αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰςP ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC οὐD καταλείπωVVI-API3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐδέC εἷςA3-NSM |
[28]So the water returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen , even all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them: there remained not one of them. |
| [29]ὁRA-NPM δέX υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM πορεύομαιVCI-API3P διάP ξηρόςA1A-GSF ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF ὁRA-NSN δέX ὕδωρN3-NSN αὐτόςRD-DPM τεῖχοςN3E-NSN ἐκP δεξιόςA1A-GPN καίC τεῖχοςN3E-NSN ἐκP εὐώνυμοςA1B-GPN |
[29]But the children of Israel walked upon dry land thorough the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. |
| [30]καίC ῥύομαιVAI-AMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASM *ἰσραήλN--ASM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ἐκP χείρN3-GSF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S *ἰσραήλN--NSM ὁRA-APM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-APM θνήσκωVX-XAPAPM παράP ὁRA-ASN χεῖλοςN3E-ASN ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF |
[30]Thus the Lord saved Israel the same day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea bank. |
| [31]ὁράωVBI-AAI3S δέX *ἰσραήλN--NSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ὁRA-ASF μέγαςA1-ASF ὅςRR-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-DPM φοβέωVCI-API3S δέX ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM καίC πιστεύωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM καίC *μωυσῆςN1M-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεράπωνN3-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[31]And Israel saw the mighty power, which the Lord showed upon the Egyptians: so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses. |
