KJV+
[1]Forsothe the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel; [1]And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696[H8762] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800]
[2]turne thei ayen, and sette thei tentis euene ayens Fiayroth, which is bitwixe Magdalum and the see, ayens Beelsefon; in the siyt therof ye schulen sette tentis ouer the see. [2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they turnH7725[H8799] and encampH2583[H8799] beforeH6440 PihahirothH6367, between MigdolH4024 and the seaH3220, over againstH6440 BaalzephonH1189: beforeH5226 it shall ye encampH2583[H8799] by the seaH3220.
[3]And Farao schal seie on the sones of Israel, Thei ben maad streit in the lond, the deseert hath closid hem to gidere. [3]For PharaohH6547 will sayH559[H8804] of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, They are entangledH943[H8737] in the landH776, the wildernessH4057 hath shut them inH5462.[H8804]
[4]And Y schal make hard his herte, and he schal pursue you, and Y schal be glorified in Farao, and in al his oost; and Egipcians schulen wite that Y am the Lord; and thei diden so. [4]And I will hardenH2388[H8765] Pharaoh'sH6547 heartH3820, that he shall followH7291[H8804] afterH310 them; and I will be honouredH3513[H8735] upon PharaohH6547, and upon all his hostH2428; that the EgyptiansH4714 may knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. And they didH6213 soH8799.
[5]And it was teld to the kyng of Egipcians, that the puple hadde fled; and the herte of Farao and of hise seruauntis was chaungid on the puple, and thei seiden, What wolden we do, that we leften Israel, that it schulde not serue us? [5]And it was toldH5046[H8714] the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 that the peopleH5971 fledH1272[H8804]: and the heartH3824 of PharaohH6547 and of his servantsH5650 was turnedH2015[H8735] against the peopleH5971, and they saidH559[H8799], Why have we doneH6213[H8804] this, that we have let IsraelH3478 goH7971[H8765] from servingH5647 usH8800?
[6]Therfor Farao ioynede the chare, and took with him al his puple; [6]And he made readyH631[H8799] his chariotH7393, and tookH3947[H8804] his people with himH5971:
[7]and he took sixe hundrid chosyn charis, and what euer thing of charis was in Egipt, and duykis of al the oost. [7]And he tookH3947[H8799] sixH8337 hundredH3967 chosenH977[H8803] chariotsH7393, and all the chariotsH7393 of EgyptH4714, and captains over every one of themH7991.
[8]And the Lord made hard `the herte of Farao, kyng of Egipt, and he pursuede the sones of Israel; and thei weren go out in an hiy hond. [8]And the LORDH3068 hardenedH2388[H8762] the heartH3820 of PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714, and he pursuedH7291[H8799] afterH310 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 went outH3318[H8802] with an highH7311[H8802] handH3027.
[9]And whanne Egipcians pursueden the steppis of the sones of Israel bifor goynge, thei founden hem in tentis on the see; al the chyualrye and charis of Farao, and al the oost weren in Fiayroth, ayens Beelsefon. [9]But the EgyptiansH4714 pursuedH7291[H8799] afterH310 them, all the horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 of PharaohH6547, and his horsemenH6571, and his armyH2428, and overtookH5381[H8686] them encampingH2583[H8802] by the seaH3220, beside PihahirothH6367, beforeH6440 BaalzephonH1189.
[10]And whanne Farao hadde neiyed the sones of Israel, reisiden her iyen, and thei sien Egipcians bihynde hem, and dredden greetli; and thei crieden to the Lord, [10]And when PharaohH6547 drew nighH7126[H8689], the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 lifted upH5375[H8799] their eyesH5869, and, behold, the EgyptiansH4714 marchedH5265[H8802] afterH310 them; and they were soreH3966 afraidH3372[H8799]: and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 cried outH6817[H8799] unto the LORDH3068.
[11]and seiden to Moises, In hap sepulcris weren not in Egipt, therfor thou hast take vs awei, that we schulen die in wildirnesse? what woldist thou do this, that thou leddist vs out of Egipt? [11]And they saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, Because there were no gravesH6913 in EgyptH4714, hast thou taken us awayH3947[H8804] to dieH4191[H8800] in the wildernessH4057? whereforeH2063 hast thou dealtH6213[H8804] thus with us, to carry us forthH3318[H8687] out of EgyptH4714?
[12]Whether this is not the word which we spaken to thee in Egipt, `and seiden, Go awei fro vs, that we serue Egipcians? for it is myche betere to serue hem, than to die in wildirnesse. [12]Is not this the wordH1697 that we did tellH1696[H8765] thee in EgyptH4714, sayingH559[H8800], Let us aloneH2308[H8798], that we may serveH5647[H8799] the EgyptiansH4714? For it had been betterH2896 for us to serveH5647[H8800] the EgyptiansH4714, than that we should dieH4191[H8800] in the wildernessH4057.
[13]And Moises seide to the puple, Nyle ye drede, stonde ye, and `se ye the grete werkys of God, whiche he schal do to dai; for ye schulen no more se Egipcians, whiche ye seen now, til in to with outen ende; [13]And MosesH4872 saidH559[H8799] unto the peopleH5971, FearH3372[H8799] ye not, stand stillH3320[H8690], and seeH7200[H8798] the salvationH3444 of the LORDH3068, which he will shewH6213[H8799] to you to dayH3117: for the EgyptiansH4714 whom ye have seenH7200[H8804] to dayH3117, ye shall seeH7200[H8800] them againH3254[H8686] no more forH5704 everH5769.
[14]the Lord schal fiyte for you, and ye schulen be stille. [14]The LORDH3068 shall fightH3898[H8735] for you, and ye shall hold your peaceH2790.[H8686]
[15]And the Lord seide to Moises, What criest thou to me? Speke thou to the sones of Israel, that thei go forth; forsothe reise thou thi yerde, [15]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, Wherefore criestH6817[H8799] thou unto me? speakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they go forwardH5265:[H8799]
[16]and stretche forth thin hond on the see, and departe thou it, that the sones of Israel go in the myddis of the see, by drie place. [16]But lift thou upH7311[H8685] thy rodH4294, and stretch outH5186[H8798] thine handH3027 over the seaH3220, and divideH1234[H8798] it: and the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 shall goH935[H8799] on dryH3004 ground through the midstH8432 of the seaH3220.
[17]Forsothe Y schal make hard the herte of Egipcians, that thei pursue you, and Y schal be glorified in Farao, and in al the oost of hym, and in the charis, and in the knyytis of hym; [17]And I, behold, I will hardenH2388[H8764] the heartsH3820 of the EgyptiansH4714, and they shall followH935[H8799] themH310: and I will get me honourH3513[H8735] upon PharaohH6547, and upon all his hostH2428, upon his chariotsH7393, and upon his horsemenH6571.
[18]and Egipcians schulen wite that Y am the Lord God, whanne Y schal be glorified in Farao, and in the charis, and in the knyytis of hym. [18]And the EgyptiansH4714 shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068, when I have gotten me honourH3513[H8736] upon PharaohH6547, upon his chariotsH7393, and upon his horsemenH6571.
[19]And the aungel of the Lord, that yede bifore the castellis of Israel, took hym silf, and yede bihynde hem; and the piler of cloude yede to gidir with hym, and lefte the formere thingis aftir the bak, [19]And the angelH4397 of GodH430, which wentH1980[H8802] beforeH6440 the campH4264 of IsraelH3478, removedH5265[H8799] and wentH3212[H8799] behindH310 them; and the pillarH5982 of the cloudH6051 wentH5265[H8799] from before their faceH6440, and stoodH5975[H8799] behind themH310:
[20]and stood bitwixe the `castels of Egipcians and castels of Israel; and the cloude was derk toward Egipcians, and liytnynge `the nyyt toward `the children of Israel, so that in al the tyme of the niyt thei miyten not neiy togidere to hem silf. [20]And it cameH935[H8799] between the campH4264 of the EgyptiansH4714 and the campH4264 of IsraelH3478; and it was a cloudH6051 and darknessH2822 to them, but it gave lightH215[H8686] by nightH3915 to these: so that the one came not nearH7126[H8804] the otherH2088 all the nightH3915.
[21]And whanne Moises hadde stretchid forth the hond on the see, the Lord took it awei, the while a greet wynde and brennynge blew in al the niyt, and turnede in to dryenesse; and the watir was departid. [21]And MosesH4872 stretched outH5186[H8799] his handH3027 over the seaH3220; and the LORDH3068 caused the seaH3220 to goH3212[H8686] back by a strongH5794 eastH6921 windH7307 all that nightH3915, and madeH7760[H8799] the seaH3220 dryH2724 land, and the watersH4325 were dividedH1234.[H8735]
[22]And the sones of Israel entriden by the myddis of the drye see; for the watir was as a wal at the riyt side and left side of hem. [22]And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 wentH935[H8799] into the midstH8432 of the seaH3220 upon the dryH3004 ground: and the watersH4325 were a wallH2346 unto them on their right handH3225, and on their leftH8040.
[23]And Egipcians pursueden, and entriden aftir hem, al the ridyng of Farao, hise charis, and knyytis, bi the myddis of the see. [23]And the EgyptiansH4714 pursuedH7291[H8799], and went inH935[H8799] afterH310 them to the midstH8432 of the seaH3220, even all Pharaoh'sH6547 horsesH5483, his chariotsH7393, and his horsemenH6571.
[24]And the wakyng of the morewtid cam thanne, and lo! the Lord bihelde on the castels of Egipcians, bi a piler of fier, and of cloude, and killide the oost of hem; and he destriede the wheelis of charis, [24]And it came to pass, that in the morningH1242 watchH821 the LORDH3068 lookedH8259[H8686] unto the hostH4264 of the EgyptiansH4714 through the pillarH5982 of fireH784 and of the cloudH6051, and troubledH2000[H8799] the hostH4264 of the EgyptiansH4714,
[25]and tho weren borun in to the depthe. Therfor Egipcians seiden, Fle we Israel; for the Lord fiytith for hem ayenus vs. [25]And took offH5493[H8686] their chariotH4818 wheelsH212, that they draveH5090[H8762] them heavilyH3517: so that the EgyptiansH4714 saidH559[H8799], Let us fleeH5127[H8799] from the faceH6440 of IsraelH3478; for the LORDH3068 fightethH3898[H8737] for them against the EgyptiansH4714.
[26]And the Lord seide to Moises, Holde forth thin hond on the see, that the watris turne ayen to Egipcians, on the charis, and knyytis of hem. [26]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, Stretch outH5186[H8798] thine handH3027 over the seaH3220, that the watersH4325 may come againH7725[H8799] upon the EgyptiansH4714, upon their chariotsH7393, and upon their horsemenH6571.
[27]And whanne Moises hadde hold forth the hoond ayens the see, it turnede ayen first in the morewtid to the formere place; and whanne Egipcians fledden, the watris camen ayen, and the Lord wlappide hem in the myddis of the floodis. [27]And MosesH4872 stretched forthH5186[H8799] his handH3027 over the seaH3220, and the seaH3220 returnedH7725[H8799] to his strengthH386 when the morningH1242 appearedH6437[H8800]; and the EgyptiansH4714 fledH5127[H8801] againstH7125[H8800] it; and the LORDH3068 overthrewH5287[H8762] the EgyptiansH4714 in the midstH8432 of the seaH3220.
[28]And the watris turneden ayen, and hiliden the charis, and knyytis of al the oost of Farao, which sueden, and entriden in to the see; sotheli not oon of hem was alyue. [28]And the watersH4325 returnedH7725[H8799], and coveredH3680[H8762] the chariotsH7393, and the horsemenH6571, and all the hostH2428 of PharaohH6547 that cameH935[H8802] into the seaH3220 afterH310 them; there remainedH7604[H8738] not so much asH5704 one of themH259.
[29]Forsothe the sones of Israel yeden thorouy the myddis of the drye see, and the watris weren to hem as for a wal, on the riyt side and left side. [29]But the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 walkedH1980[H8804] upon dryH3004 land in the midstH8432 of the seaH3220; and the watersH4325 were a wallH2346 unto them on their right handH3225, and on their leftH8040.
[30]And in that dai the Lord delyuerede Israel fro the hond of Egipcians, and thei sien Egipcians deed on the brynke of the see, [30]Thus the LORDH3068 savedH3467[H8686] IsraelH3478 that dayH3117 out of the handH3027 of the EgyptiansH4714; and IsraelH3478 sawH7200[H8799] the EgyptiansH4714 deadH4191[H8801] upon the seaH3220 shoreH8193.
[31]and thei seiyen the greet hond which the Lord hadde vsid ayens hem; and the puple dredde the Lord, and thei bileueden to the Lord, and to Moises his seruaunt. [31]And IsraelH3478 sawH7200[H8799] that greatH1419 workH3027 which the LORDH3068 didH6213[H8804] upon the EgyptiansH4714: and the peopleH5971 fearedH3372[H8799] the LORDH3068, and believedH539[H8686] the LORDH3068, and his servantH5650 MosesH4872.
