[2]that thei take to me the firste fruytis; of ech man that offrith wilfuli, ye schulen take tho. |
| [3]And this is the offeringH8641 which ye shall takeH3947[H8799] of them; goldH2091, and silverH3701, and brassH5178, |
[3]Forsothe these thingis it ben, whiche ye schulen take, gold, and siluer, and bras, iacynt, |
| [4]And blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8438[H8144], and fine linenH8336, and goats' hairH5795, |
[4]and purpur, and reed silk twies died, and bijs, heeris of geet, and `skynnes of wetheris maad reed, |
| [5]And rams'H352 skinsH5785 dyed redH119[H8794], and badgers'H8476 skinsH5785, and shittimH7848 woodH6086, |
[5]and skynnes of iacynt, |
| [6]OilH8081 for the lightH3974, spicesH1314 for anointingH4888 oilH8081, and for sweetH5561 incenseH7004, |
[6]and trees of Sechym, and oile to liytis to be ordeyned, swete smellynge spiceries in to oynement, and encensis of good odour, |
| [7]OnyxH7718 stonesH68, and stonesH68 to be setH4394 in the ephodH646, and in the breastplateH2833. |
[7]onochym stoonys, and gemmes to ourne ephod, and the racional. |
| [8]And let them makeH6213[H8804] me a sanctuaryH4720; that I may dwellH7931[H8804] among themH8432. |
[8]And thei schulen make a seyntuarie to me, and Y schal dwelle in the myddis of hem, bi al the licnesse of the tabernacle, |
| [9]According to all that I shewH7200[H8688] thee, after the patternH8403 of the tabernacleH4908, and the patternH8403 of all the instrumentsH3627 thereof, even so shall ye makeH6213 itH8799. |
[9]which Y schal schewe to thee, and of alle the vessels of ournyng therof. |
| [10]And they shall makeH6213[H8804] an arkH727 of shittimH7848 woodH6086: two cubitsH520 and a halfH2677 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the breadthH7341 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the height thereofH6967. |
[10]And thus ye schulen make it; ioyne ye to gidere an arke of the trees of Sechym, whos lengthe haue twey cubitis and an half, the broodnesse haue a cubit and half, the hiynesse haue `in lijk maner a cubit and half. |
| [11]And thou shalt overlayH6823[H8765] it with pureH2889 goldH2091, withinH1004 and withoutH2351 shalt thou overlayH6823[H8762] it, and shalt makeH6213[H8804] upon it a crownH2213 of goldH2091 round aboutH5439. |
[11]And thou schalt ouergilde it with clenneste gold with ynne and with out forth; and thou schalt make a goldun crowne aboue `bi cumpas, |
| [12]And thou shalt castH3332[H8804] fourH702 ringsH2885 of goldH2091 for it, and putH5414[H8804] them in the fourH702 cornersH6471 thereof; and twoH8147 ringsH2885 shall be in the oneH259 sideH6763 of it, and twoH8147 ringsH2885 in the other side of itH8145. |
[12]and foure goldun cerclis, whiche thou schalt sette bi foure corneris of the arke; twei ceerclis be in o syde, and twei cerclis in the tother side. |
| [13]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] stavesH905 of shittimH7848 woodH6086, and overlayH6823[H8765] them with goldH2091. |
[13]Also thou schalt make barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt hile tho with gold, |
| [14]And thou shalt putH935[H8689] the stavesH905 into the ringsH2885 by the sidesH6763 of the arkH727, that the arkH727 may be borneH5375 with themH8800. |
[14]and thou schalt brynge yn bi the cerclis that ben in the sidis of the arke, |
| [15]The stavesH905 shall beH1961[H8799] in the ringsH2885 of the arkH727: they shall not be takenH5493 from itH8799. |
[15]that it be borun in tho, whiche schulen euere be in the ceerclis, nether schulen ony tyme be drawun out of thoo. |
| [16]And thou shalt putH5414[H8804] into the arkH727 the testimonyH5715 which I shall giveH5414 theeH8799. |
[16]And thou schalt putte in to the arke the witnessing, which Y schal yyue to thee. |
| [17]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] a mercy seatH3727 of pureH2889 goldH2091: two cubitsH520 and a halfH2677 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the breadth thereofH7341. |
[17]And thou schalt make a propiciatorie of clenneste gold; `that is a table hilinge the arke; the lengthe therof schal holde twei cubitis and an half, the broodnesse schal holde a cubit and half. |
| [18]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] twoH8147 cherubimsH3742 of goldH2091, of beaten workH4749 shalt thou makeH6213[H8799] them, in the twoH8147 endsH7098 of the mercy seatH3727. |
[18]Also thou schalt make on euer eithir side of `Goddis answeryng place twei cherubyns of gold, and betun out with hamer; |
| [19]And makeH6213[H8798] oneH259 cherubH3742 on the one endH7098, and the otherH259 cherubH3742 on the otherH2088 endH7098: even of the mercy seatH3727 shall ye makeH6213[H8799] the cherubimsH3742 on the twoH8147 ends thereofH7098. |
[19]o cherub be in o syde of `Goddis answeryng place, and the tother in the tother side; |
| [20]And the cherubimsH3742 shall stretchH6566[H8802] forth their wingsH3671 on highH4605, coveringH5526[H8802] the mercy seatH3727 with their wingsH3671, and their facesH6440 shall look oneH376 to anotherH251; toward the mercy seatH3727 shall the facesH6440 of the cherubims beH3742. |
[20]hele thei euer either side of the propiciatorie, and holde thei forth wyngis, and hile thei `Goddis answeryng place; and biholde thei hem silf to gidere, while the faces ben turned in to the propiciatorie, with which the arke of the Lord schal be hilid, |
| [21]And thou shalt putH5414[H8804] the mercy seatH3727 aboveH4605 upon the arkH727; and in the arkH727 thou shalt putH5414[H8799] the testimonyH5715 that I shall giveH5414 theeH8799. |
[21]in which arke thou schalt putte the `witnessyng, which Y schal yyue to thee. |
| [22]And there I will meetH3259[H8738] with thee, and I will communeH1696[H8765] with thee from above the mercy seatH3727, from betweenH996 the twoH8147 cherubimsH3742 which are uponH5921 the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, of all things which I will give thee in commandmentH6680[H8762] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478. |
[22]Fro thennus Y schal comaunde, and schal speke to thee aboue the propiciatorie, that is, fro the myddis of twei cherubyns, that schulen be on the arke of witnessyng, alle thingis whiche Y schal comaunde `bi thee to the sones of Israel. |
| [23]Thou shalt also makeH6213[H8804] a tableH7979 of shittimH7848 woodH6086: two cubitsH520 shall be the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 the breadthH7341 thereof, and a cubitH520 and a halfH2677 the height thereofH6967. |
[23]Also thou schalt make a boord of the trees of Sechym, hauinge twei cubitis of lengthe, and a cubit in broodnesse, and a cubit and half in hiyenesse. |
| [24]And thou shalt overlayH6823[H8765] it with pureH2889 goldH2091, and makeH6213[H8804] thereto a crownH2213 of goldH2091 round aboutH5439. |
[24]And thou schalt ouergilde the bord with purest gold, and thou schalt make to it a goldun brynke `bi cumpas; |
| [25]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] unto it a borderH4526 of an hand breadthH2948 round aboutH5439, and thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] a goldenH2091 crownH2213 to the borderH4526 thereof round aboutH5439. |
[25]and `thou schalt make to that brynke a coroun rasid bitwixe foure fyngris hiy, and `thou schalt make on that another lytil goldun coroun. |
| [26]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] for it fourH702 ringsH2885 of goldH2091, and putH5414[H8804] the ringsH2885 in the fourH702 cornersH6285 that are on the fourH702 feet thereofH7272. |
[26]And thou schalt make redi foure goldun cerclis, and thou schalt put thoo in foure corners of the same boord, bi alle feet. |
| [27]Over againstH5980 the borderH4526 shall the ringsH2885 be for placesH1004 of the stavesH905 to bearH5375[H8800] the tableH7979. |
[27]Vndur the coroun schulen be goldun cerclis, that the barris be put thorou tho, and that the boord may be borun. |
| [28]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] the stavesH905 of shittimH7848 woodH6086, and overlayH6823[H8765] them with goldH2091, that the tableH7979 may be borneH5375 with themH8738. |
[28]Thou schalt make tho barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt cumpas with gold to bere the boord. |
| [29]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] the dishesH7086 thereof, and spoonsH3709 thereof, and coversH7184 thereof, and bowlsH4518 thereof, to coverH5258[H8714] withalH2004: of pureH2889 goldH2091 shalt thou makeH6213 themH8799. |
[29]And thou schalt make redi vessels of vynegre, and viols, cenceris, and cuppis of pureste gold, in whiche fletynge sacrifices schulen be offrid. |
| [30]And thou shalt setH5414[H8804] upon the tableH7979 shewbreadH3899 beforeH6440 me alwayH8548. |
[30]And thou schalt sette on the boord looues of proposicioun, in my siyt euere. |
| [31]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] a candlestickH4501 of pureH2889 goldH2091: of beaten workH4749 shall the candlestickH4501 be madeH6213[H8735]: his shaftH3409, and his branchesH7070, his bowlsH1375, his knopsH3730, and his flowers, shall be of the sameH6525. |
[31]And thou schalt make a candilstike `betun forth with hamer, of clenneste gold, and thou schalt make the schaft therof, and yerdis, cuppis, and litle rundelis, and lilies comynge forth therof. |
| [32]And sixH8337 branchesH7070 shall comeH3318[H8802] out of the sidesH6654 of it; threeH7969 branchesH7070 of the candlestickH4501 out of the oneH259 sideH6654, and threeH7969 branchesH7070 of the candlestickH4501 out of the otherH8145 sideH6654: |
[32]Sixe yerdis schulen go out of the sidis, thre of o side, and thre of the tother. |
| [33]ThreeH7969 bowlsH1375 made like unto almondsH8246[H8794], with a knopH3730 and a flowerH6525 in oneH259 branchH7070; and threeH7969 bowlsH1375 made like almondsH8246[H8794] in the otherH259 branchH7070, with a knopH3730 and a flowerH6525: so in the sixH8337 branchesH7070 that comeH3318[H8802] out of the candlestickH4501. |
[33]Thre cuppis as in the maner of a note bi ech yerde, and litle rundelis to gidere, and a lilie, and in lijk maner thre cuppis at the licnesse of a note in the tother, and litle rundelis togidere, and a lilie; this schal be the werk of sixe yerdis, that schulen be brouyt forth of the schaft. |
| [34]And in the candlestickH4501 shall be fourH702 bowlsH1375 made like unto almondsH8246[H8794], with their knopsH3730 and their flowersH6525. |
[34]Forsothe in thilke candilstik e schulen be foure cuppis in the maner of a note, and litle rundels and lilies by ech cuppe; |
| [35]And there shall be a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, and a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, and a knopH3730 under twoH8147 branchesH7070 of the same, according to the sixH8337 branchesH7070 that proceedH3318[H8802] out of the candlestickH4501. |
[35]and litle rundelis schulen be vndir twey yerdis bi thre places, whiche yerdis to gidere ben maad sixe, comynge forth of o schaft; and therfor the litle rundelis and yerdis |
| [36]Their knopsH3730 and their branchesH7070 shall be of the same: all it shall be oneH259 beaten workH4749 of pureH2889 goldH2091. |
[36]therof schulen be alle betun out with hamer, of clenneste gold. |
| [37]And thou shalt makeH6213[H8804] the sevenH7651 lampsH5216 thereof: and they shall lightH5927[H8689] the lampsH5216 thereof, that they may give lightH215[H8689] over againstH5676 itH6440. |
[37]And thou schalt make seuene lanternes, and thou schalt sette tho on the candilstike, that tho schyne euene ayens. |
| [38]And the tongsH4457 thereof, and the snuffdishesH4289 thereof, shall be of pureH2889 goldH2091. |
[38]Also tongis to `do out the snottis, and where tho thingis, that ben snottid out, ben quenchid, be maad of clenneste gold. |
| [39]Of a talentH3603 of pureH2889 goldH2091 shall he makeH6213[H8799] it, with all these vesselsH3627. |
[39]Al the weiyt of the candilstike with alle hise vesselis schal haue a talent of clennest gold. |
| [40]And lookH7200[H8798] that thou makeH6213[H8798] them after their patternH8403, which was shewedH7200[H8716] thee in the mountH2022. |
[40]Biholde thou, and make bi the saumpler, which ys schewide to thee in the hil. |
