[1]καὶ ποιήσεις θυσιαστήριον θυμιάματος ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτὸ [1]Furthermore thou shalt make an altar for sweet perfume, of shittim wood thou shalt make it.
[2]πήχεος τὸ μῆκος καὶ πήχεος τὸ εὖρος τετράγωνον ἔσται καὶ δύο πήχεων τὸ ὕψος ἐξ αὐτοῦ ἔσται τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ [2]The length thereof a cubit and the breadth thereof a cubit (it shall be four square) and the height thereof two cubits: the horns thereof shall be of the same,
[3]καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰ χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ τὴν ἐσχάραν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς τοίχους αὐτοῦ κύκλῳ καὶ τὰ κέρατα αὐτοῦ καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτῷ στρεπτὴν στεφάνην χρυσῆν κύκλῳ [3]And thou shalt overlay it with fine gold, both the top thereof and the sides thereof round about, and his horns: also thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.
[4]καὶ δύο δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς καθαροὺς ποιήσεις ὑπὸ τὴν στρεπτὴν στεφάνην αὐτοῦ εἰς τὰ δύο κλίτη ποιήσεις ἐν τοῖς δυσὶ πλευροῖς καὶ ἔσονται ψαλίδες ταῖς σκυτάλαις ὥστε αἴρειν αὐτὸ ἐν αὐταῖς [4]Besides this thou shalt make under this crown two golden rings on either side: even on every side shalt thou make them, that they may be as places for the bars to bear it withal.
[5]καὶ ποιήσεις σκυτάλας ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ καταχρυσώσεις αὐτὰς χρυσίῳ [5]The which bars thou shalt make of shittim wood, and shalt cover them with gold.
[6]καὶ θήσεις αὐτὸ ἀπέναντι τοῦ καταπετάσματος τοῦ ὄντος ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τῶν μαρτυρίων ἐν οἷς γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν [6]After thou shalt set it before the veil, that is near the ark of testimony, before the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, where I will appoint with thee.
[7]καὶ θυμιάσει ἐπ αὐτοῦ ααρων θυμίαμα σύνθετον λεπτόν τὸ πρωὶ πρωί ὅταν ἐπισκευάζῃ τοὺς λύχνους θυμιάσει ἐπ αὐτοῦ [7]And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps thereof, shall he burn it.
[8]καὶ ὅταν ἐξάπτῃ ααρων τοὺς λύχνους ὀψέ θυμιάσει ἐπ αὐτοῦ θυμίαμα ἐνδελεχισμοῦ διὰ παντὸς ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν [8]Likewise at even, when Aaron setteth up the lamps thereof, he shall burn incense: this perfume shall be perpetually before the Lord, throughout your generations.
[9]καὶ οὐκ ἀνοίσεις ἐπ αὐτοῦ θυμίαμα ἕτερον κάρπωμα θυσίαν καὶ σπονδὴν οὐ σπείσεις ἐπ αὐτοῦ [9]Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor offering, neither pour any drink offering thereon.
[10]καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ἐπ αὐτὸ ααρων ἐπὶ τῶν κεράτων αὐτοῦ ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν τοῦ ἐξιλασμοῦ ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ καθαριεῖ αὐτὸ εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων ἐστὶν κυρίῳ [10]And Aaron shall make reconciliation upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering in the day of reconciliation: once in the year shall he make reconciliation upon it throughout your generations: this is most holy unto the Lord.
[11]καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν λέγων [11]Afterward the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[12]ἐὰν λάβῃς τὸν συλλογισμὸν τῶν υἱῶν ισραηλ ἐν τῇ ἐπισκοπῇ αὐτῶν καὶ δώσουσιν ἕκαστος λύτρα τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐν αὐτοῖς πτῶσις ἐν τῇ ἐπισκοπῇ αὐτῶν [12]When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then they shall give every man a redemption of his life unto the Lord, when thou tellest them, that there be no plague among them when thou countest them.
[13]καὶ τοῦτό ἐστιν ὃ δώσουσιν ὅσοι ἂν παραπορεύωνται τὴν ἐπίσκεψιν τὸ ἥμισυ τοῦ διδράχμου ὅ ἐστιν κατὰ τὸ δίδραχμον τὸ ἅγιον εἴκοσι ὀβολοὶ τὸ δίδραχμον τὸ δὲ ἥμισυ τοῦ διδράχμου εἰσφορὰ κυρίῳ [13]This shall every man give, that goeth into the number, half a shekel, after the shekel of the Sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs) the half shekel shall be an offering to the Lord.
[14]πᾶς ὁ παραπορευόμενος εἰς τὴν ἐπίσκεψιν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω δώσουσιν τὴν εἰσφορὰν κυρίῳ [14]All that are numbered from twenty year old and above, shall give an offering to the Lord.
[15]ὁ πλουτῶν οὐ προσθήσει καὶ ὁ πενόμενος οὐκ ἐλαττονήσει ἀπὸ τοῦ ἡμίσους τοῦ διδράχμου ἐν τῷ διδόναι τὴν εἰσφορὰν κυρίῳ ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ τῶν ψυχῶν ὑμῶν [15]The rich shall not pass, and the poor shall not diminish from half a shekel, when ye shall give an offering unto the Lord, for the redemption of your lives.
[16]καὶ λήμψῃ τὸ ἀργύριον τῆς εἰσφορᾶς παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν ισραηλ καὶ δώσεις αὐτὸ εἰς κάτεργον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔσται τοῖς υἱοῖς ισραηλ μνημόσυνον ἔναντι κυρίου ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ τῶν ψυχῶν ὑμῶν [16]So thou shalt take the money of the redemption of the children of Israel, and shalt put it unto the use of the tabernacle of the congregation, that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the Lord for the redemption of your lives.
[17]καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν λέγων [17]Also the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[18]ποίησον λουτῆρα χαλκοῦν καὶ βάσιν αὐτῷ χαλκῆν ὥστε νίπτεσθαι καὶ θήσεις αὐτὸν ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ ἐκχεεῖς εἰς αὐτὸν ὕδωρ [18]Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot of brass to wash, and shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
[19]καὶ νίψεται ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐξ αὐτοῦ τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι [19]For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat.
[20]ὅταν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου νίψονται ὕδατι καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν ἢ ὅταν προσπορεύωνται πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον λειτουργεῖν καὶ ἀναφέρειν τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα κυρίῳ [20]When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they go unto the altar to minister and to make the perfume of the burnt offering to the Lord, they shall wash themselves with water, lest they die.
[21]νίψονται τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι ὅταν εἰσπορεύωνται εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου νίψονται ὕδατι ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῖς νόμιμον αἰώνιον αὐτῷ καὶ ταῖς γενεαῖς αὐτοῦ μετ αὐτόν [21]So they shall wash their hands and their feet that they die not: and this shall be to them an ordinance forever, both unto him and to his seed throughout their generations.
[22]καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν λέγων [22]Also the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
[23]καὶ σὺ λαβὲ ἡδύσματα τὸ ἄνθος σμύρνης ἐκλεκτῆς πεντακοσίους σίκλους καὶ κινναμώμου εὐώδους τὸ ἥμισυ τούτου διακοσίους πεντήκοντα καὶ καλάμου εὐώδους διακοσίους πεντήκοντα [23]Take thou also unto thee, principal spices of the most pure myrrh five hundred shekels, of sweet cinnamon half so much, that is, two hundred and fifty, and of sweet calamus, two hundred, and fifty:
[24]καὶ ἴρεως πεντακοσίους σίκλους τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἔλαιον ἐξ ἐλαίων ιν [24]Also of cassia five hundred, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin.
[25]καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτὸ ἔλαιον χρῖσμα ἅγιον μύρον μυρεψικὸν τέχνῃ μυρεψοῦ ἔλαιον χρῖσμα ἅγιον ἔσται [25]So thou shalt make of it the oil of holy ointment, even a most precious ointment after the art of the apothecary: this shall be the oil of holy ointment.
[26]καὶ χρίσεις ἐξ αὐτοῦ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ μαρτυρίου [26]And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony:
[27]καὶ τὴν λυχνίαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ θυμιάματος [27]Also the table, and all the instruments thereof, and the candlestick, with all the instruments thereof, and the altar of incense:
[28]καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ πάντα αὐτοῦ τὰ σκεύη καὶ τὴν τράπεζαν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ τὸν λουτῆρα καὶ τὴν βάσιν αὐτοῦ [28]Also the altar of burnt offering with all his instruments, and the laver and his foot.
[29]καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτά καὶ ἔσται ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος αὐτῶν ἁγιασθήσεται [29]So thou shalt sanctify them, and they shall be most holy: all that shall touch them, shall be holy.
[30]καὶ ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ χρίσεις καὶ ἁγιάσεις αὐτοὺς ἱερατεύειν μοι [30]Thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sons, and shalt consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
[31]καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς ισραηλ λαλήσεις λέγων ἔλαιον ἄλειμμα χρίσεως ἅγιον ἔσται τοῦτο ὑμῖν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν [31]Moreover thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me, throughout your generations.
[32]ἐπὶ σάρκα ἀνθρώπου οὐ χρισθήσεται καὶ κατὰ τὴν σύνθεσιν ταύτην οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν ἑαυτοῖς ὡσαύτως ἅγιόν ἐστιν καὶ ἁγίασμα ἔσται ὑμῖν [32]None shall anoint, man's flesh therewith, neither shall ye make any composition like unto it: for it is holy , and shall be holy unto you.
[33]ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ὡσαύτως καὶ ὃς ἂν δῷ ἀπ αὐτοῦ ἀλλογενεῖ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ [33]Whosoever shall make the like ointment, or whosoever shall put any of it upon a stranger, even he shall be cut off from his people.
[34]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν λαβὲ σεαυτῷ ἡδύσματα στακτήν ὄνυχα χαλβάνην ἡδυσμοῦ καὶ λίβανον διαφανῆ ἴσον ἴσῳ ἔσται [34]And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee these spices, pure myrrh and clear gum and galbanum, these odors with pure frankincense, of each like weight:
[35]καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῷ θυμίαμα μυρεψικὸν ἔργον μυρεψοῦ μεμιγμένον καθαρόν ἔργον ἅγιον [35]Then thou shalt make of them perfume composed after the art of the apothecary, mingled together, pure and holy.
[36]καὶ συγκόψεις ἐκ τούτων λεπτὸν καὶ θήσεις ἀπέναντι τῶν μαρτυρίων ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ὅθεν γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖθεν ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων ἔσται ὑμῖν [36]And thou shalt beat it to powder, and shalt put of it before the ark of the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will make appointment with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
[37]θυμίαμα κατὰ τὴν σύνθεσιν ταύτην οὐ ποιήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς ἁγίασμα ἔσται ὑμῖν κυρίῳ [37]And ye shall not make unto you any composition like this perfume, which thou shalt make: it shall be unto thee holy for the Lord.
[38]ὃς ἂν ποιήσῃ ὡσαύτως ὥστε ὀσφραίνεσθαι ἐν αὐτῷ ἀπολεῖται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ [38]Whosoever shall make like unto that to smell thereto, even he shall be cut off from his people.
