[1]And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, [1]And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying
[2]In the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, thou schalt reise the tabernacle of witnessyng. [2]In the first day of the first moneth shalt thou set vp the tabernacle, euen the tabernacle of the congregation
[3]And thou schalt sette the arke therynne, and thou schalt leeue a veil bifore it. [3]And put therin the arke of the testimonie, and couer the arke with the vayle: and thou shalt bring in the table, and order it accordyng to the appoyntment therof
[4]And whanne the bord is borun yn, thou schalt sette ther onne tho thingis, that ben comaundid iustli. The candilstike schal stonde with hise lanternes, [4]And thou shalt bryng in the candelsticke, and lyght his lampes
[5]and the goldun auter, where ynne encense is brent bifor the arke of witnessyng. Thou schalt sette a tente in the entryng of the tabernacle; [5]And set the incense aulter of golde before the arke of the testimonie, and put the hangyng at the doore of the tabernacle
[6]and bifor it the auter of brent sacrifice, [6]And set the burnt offeryng aulter before the doore of the tabernacle [euen] of the tabernacle of the congregation
[7]the `waischyng vessel bitwixe the auter and the tabernacle, which `waischyng vessel thou schalt fille with water. [7]And set the lauer betweene the tabernacle of the congregatio and the aulter, and put water therein
[8]And thou schalt cumpas the greet street, and the entryng ther of with tentis. [8]And make the court rounde about, & hang vp the hangyng at the court gate
[9]And whanne thou hast take oyle of anoyntyng, thou schalt anoynte the tabernacle, with hise vessels, that tho be halewid; [9]And thou shalt take the annoyntyng oyle, and annoynt the tabernacle, and all that is therin, and halow it with all the vessels therof: and it shalbe holy
[10]the auter of brent sacrifice, and alle vessels ther of; the `waischyng vessel, [10]And thou shalt annoynt the aulter of burnt offeryng and all his vessels, and sanctifie the aulter: and it shalbe an aulter most holy
[11]with his foundement. Thou schalt anoynte alle thingis with the oile of anoyntyng, that tho be hooli of hooli thingis. [11]And thou shalt also annoynt the lauer and his foote, and sanctifie it
[12]And thou schalt present Aaron and hise sones to the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng; [12]And thou shalt bryng Aaron and his sonnes vnto the doore of the tabernacle of the congregation, and washe them with water
[13]and, whanne thei ben `waischid in water, thou schalt clothe hem with hooli clothis, that thei mynystre to me, and that the anoyntyng of hem profite in to euerlastynge preesthod. [13]And thou shalt put vppon Aaron the holy vestmentes, and annoynt hym, & sanctifie hym, that he may minister vnto me in the priestes office
[14]And Moises dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide. [14]And thou shalt bryng his sonnes, and clothe them with garmentes
[15]Therfor in the firste monethe of the secunde yeer, in the firste dai of the monethe, the tabernacle was set. [15]And annoynt them as thou diddest annoynt their father, that they may minister vnto me in the priestes office: For their annoyntyng shalbe an euerlasting priesthood vnto them throughout all their generations
[16]And Moises reiside it, and settide the tablis, and foundementis, and barris, and he ordeynede pilers; [16]And Moyses dyd accordyng to all that the Lorde commaunded hym, euen so dyd he
[17]and `spredde abrood the roof on the tabernacle, and puttide an hilyng aboue, as the Lord comaundide. [17]Thus was the tabernacle reared vp the first day in the first moneth, in the seconde yere
[18]He puttide also the witnessyng in the arke, and he settide barris with ynne, and Goddis answeryng place aboue. [18]And Moyses reared vp the tabernacle, and fastened his sockettes, and set vp the boordes therof, and put in the barres of it, and reared vp his pillers
[19]And whanne he hadde brouyt the arke in to the tabernacle, he hangide a veil bifor it, that he schulde fille the comaundement of the Lord. [19]And spread abrode the tent ouer the tabernacle, and put the coueryng of the tent an hye aboue it, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[20]He settide also the boord in the tabernacle of witnessyng, at the north coost, without the veil, [20]And he toke the testimonie, and put it in the arke, and set the barres to the arke, and put the mercie seate an hye vpon the arke
[21]and he ordeynede the looues of settyng forth bifore, as the Lord comaundide to Moises. [21]And he brought the arke into the tabernacle, and hanged vp the vayle, and couered the arke of the testimonie, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[22]He settide also the candilstike in the tabernacle of witnessyng, euene ayens the boord, [22]And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation in the north syde of the tabernacle without the vayle
[23]in the south side, and settide lanternes bi ordre, bi the comaundement of the Lord. [23]And set the bread in order before the Lorde [euen] as the Lorde had commaunded Moyses
[24]He puttide also the goldun auter vndur the roof of witnessyng, [24]And he put the candlesticke in the tabernacle of the congregation, ouer agaynst the table towarde the south syde of the tabernacle
[25]ayens the veil, and he brente theronne encense of swete smellynge spiceries, as the Lord comaundide to Moises. [25]And set vp the lampes before ye Lorde: as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[26]He settide also a tente in the entryng of the tabernacle, [26]And he put the golden aulter in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vayle
[27]and the auter of brent sacrifice in the porche of the witnessyng, and he offride therynne brent sacrifice, and sacrifices, as the Lord comaundide. [27]And burnt sweete incense thereon, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[28]Also he ordeynede the `waischyng vessel, bitwixe the tabernacle of witnessyng and the auter, and fillide it with watir. [28]And he hanged vp the hangyng at the doore of the tabernacle
[29]And Moises, and Aaron, and his sones, waischiden her hondis and feet, [29]And set the burnt offeryng aulter by the entryng in of the tabernacle [that is] the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered burnt offerynges, and meate offerynges theron, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[30]whanne thei entriden into the roof of boond of pees, and neiyeden to the auter, as the Lord comaundide to Moises. [30]And he set the lauer betweene the tabernacle of the congregation and the aulter, and powred water therein, to washe withall
[31]He reiside also the greet street, bi the cumpas of the tabernacle and of the auter, and settyde a tente in the entryng therof. Aftir that alle thingis weren perfitli maad, [31]And Moyses, Aaron, and his sonnes, wasshed their handes and their feete thereat
[32]a cloude hilide the tabernacle of witnessyng, and the glorie of the Lord fillide it; [32]When they went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they went to the aulter they wasshed them selues, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses
[33]nether Moyses myyte entre in to the tabernacle of the boond of pees, while the cloude hilide alle thingis, and the maieste of the Lord schynede, for the cloude hilide alle thingis. [33]And he reared vp the court rounde about the tabernacle and the aulter, and set vp an hangyng at the court gate: and so Moyses finished the worke
[34]If ony tyme the cloude lefte the tabernacle, the sones of Israel yeden forth bi her cumpanyes; [34]And the cloude couered the tabernacle of the congregatio, and the glorie of the Lorde fylled the tabernacle
[35]if the cloude hangide aboue, thei dwelliden in the same place; [35]And Moyses coulde not enter into the tabernacle of the congregation, because the cloude abode theron, and the glorie of the Lorde fylled the tabernacle
[36]for the cloude of the Lord restide on the tabernacle bi dai, and fier in the nyyt, in the siyt of the puplis of Israel, bi alle her dwellyngis. [36]And when the cloude was taken vp from of the tabernacle, the children of Israel toke their iourneys throughout their armies
37[No verse] [37]And whe the cloude was not taken vp, they iourneyed not tyll it was taken vp
38[No verse] [38]For the cloude of the Lord was vpon the tabernacle by day, and fire by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their armies
