[1]But I say, that the heir, so long as he is a child, differeth not from a servant, although he is lord of all; [1]Say I but that as much time that the heir is a child not distinct from the servants while lord he is of all of them
[2]but he is under supervisors and stewards, until the time established by his father. [2]But under guardians is and masters of houses until the time that appointed his father
[3]So also we, while we were children, were in subordination under the elements of the world. [3]In this way also we when children we were under the principles of the world subject we were
[4]But when the consummation of the time arrived, God sent forth his Son; and he was from a woman, and was under the law; [4]When arrived but the end of time sent Alaha His Son and He was from a woman and He was under The Written Law
[5]that he might redeem them that were under the law; and that we might receive the adoption of sons. [5]That those that under The Written Law are He would redeem and we would receive the position of children
[6]And, because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, who crieth, Father, our Father. [6]Because you are but children has sent Alaha The Spirit of His Son into your hearts Who cries Father our Father
[7]Wherefore, ye are no longer servants, but sons; and if sons, then heirs of God; through Jesus the Messiah. [7]Therefore not you are servants but children and if children also the heirs of Alaha by Ieshu The Messiah
[8]For then, when ye knew not God, ye served them who in their nature are not gods. [8]Then for when not known you had to Alaha you served those that from their nature not were Alaha
[9]But now, since ye have known God, or rather, have been known by God, ye turn yourselves again to the weak and beggarly elements, and wish again to be under them ! [9]Now but that you have known to Alaha and especially that you are known by Alaha again you have turned you to those principles sick and weak and from the top you wish to be subject to them
[10]Ye observe days and moons, and set times, and years! [10]Days and moons and times and years you observe
[11]I am afraid, lest I have labored among you in vain. [11]Fear I lest for nothing I have labored among you
[12]Be ye like me; because I have been like you. [12]Be like me because that also I like you I have been my brothers beg I of you not anything you have wronged me
[13]For ye know, that under the infirmity of my flesh, I at first announced the gospel to you; [13]Know you for in the illness of my flesh I evangelized you I have from the first
[14]and the trial in my flesh, ye did not despise nor nauseate: but ye received me as an angel of God, and as Jesus the Messiah. [14]The trial of my flesh not you ridiculed and not you loathed but as an angel of Alaha you received me and as Ieshu The Messiah
[15]Where then is your blessedness? For I testify of you, that if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes, and have given them to me. [15]Where is? therefore your blessedness testify I for of you that if possible it were your eyes plucked out you would have and given to me
[16]Have I become an enemy to you, by preaching to you the truth? [16]Interrog. an enemy have I become? to you because I have preached to you the truth
[17]They are zealous towards you, yet not for good; but they wish to shut you up, that ye may be zealous towards them. [17]They emulate you not is it for the excellence but to oppress you it is they want that you you will emulate them
[18]And it is a good thing to be zealous at all times in good things; and not merely when I am present with you. [18]Good it is but that you would emulate excellence in every time and not when with you I am only
[19][Ye are] my children, of whom I travail in birth again, till the Messiah be formed in you. [19]Children those for whom from the top in labor I am until shall be formed in you The Messiah
[20]And I could wish to be now with you, and to change the tone of my voice; because I am astonished at you. [20]Willing I have been but to be with you now and to change my tone because dumbfounded I am at you
[21]Tell me, ye who desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? [21]Tell me you those who wish to be under The Written Law it The Written Law not do hear you
[22]For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondmaid, and one by the free woman. [22]It is written for "Abraham two sons were to him one from a maid servant and one from a free woman
[23]But he that was by the bond maid, was born after the flesh; and he that was by the free woman, was by the promise. [23]But he who from the maid servant by the flesh was born he but who from the free woman by the promise is
[24]And these are allegorical of the two covenants; the one from mount Sinai, which bringeth forth for bondage, is Hagar. [24]These but are illustrations of two covenants one that is from Mount Sinai begets to bondage which is Hagar
[25]For Hagar is the mount Sinai in Arabia, and correspondeth with the present Jerusalem, and is serving in bondage, she and her children. [25]Hagar for Mount is Sinai that is in Arabia and agrees with this Jerusalem and serving bondage is and its children
[26]But the Jerusalem above, is the free woman, who is the mother of us. [26]That but Jerusalem above free is which is our mother
[27]For it is written, Be joyful, thou barren, who bearest not: exult and shout, thou who hast not travailed: for more numerous are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman. [27]It is written for rejoice barren one she who not bears and exult and call out she who not gives birth because have increased children of the desolate more than the children of a wife
[28]Now we, my brethren, like Isaac, are the children of the promise. [28]We but my brethren as Isaaq children of the promise are
[29]And as then, he that was born after the flesh, persecuted him [who was born] of the Spirit; so also [is it] now. [29]And as then he who born was by the flesh persecute did him who was by The Spirit so also it is now
[30]But what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondmaid, and her son; because the son of the bondmaid shall not inherit with the son of the free woman. [30]But what? say the scriptures cast out the maidservant and her son because that not will inherit the son of the maidservant with the son of the free woman
[31]So then, my brethren, we are not sons of the bond-woman, but sons of the free woman. [31]We therefore my brethren not are children of the maidservant but children of the free woman
