[1]The Written Law for a shadow it was in it of good things that were coming not it was the essence of their matters because of this when in every year those when those sacrifices offering they were not ever they could perfect those who offer them |
[1]FOR there was in the law the shadow of good things to come, not the subsistence of the very things, therefore [though] every year the same sacrifices were offered they could never perfect those who offered them. |
[2]If for perfecting they were doubtless but they would have ceased from their offerings because that not therefore buffeted would have them their conscience in sin to those when one time they had been purged in themselves |
[2]For if they had perfected, they would have ceased afterward from the presentation of them; because the conscience of those who had been once purified by them would not henceforth have been troubled by [such] sins. |
[3]But by them by sacrifices they remember their sins in every year |
[3]But in those sacrifices their sins are brought to remembrance every year. |
[4]Not for it is possible the blood of oxen and of yearling goats to purge sins |
[4]For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and of goats to purify [from] sins. |
[5]Because of this when He entered the universe He said with sacrifices and offerings not You wanted with a body but You have clothed Me |
[5]Wherefore when he cometh into the world he saith, Sacrifices and oblations thou hast not willed, but with a body hast thou clothed me: |
[6]And burnt offerings of peace for sins not You have asked |
[6]And entire burnt-offerings for sins thou hast not required. |
[7]Then I said Behold I come do because in the beginning of The Writings it is written of Me to do Your will O Alaha |
[7]Then said I, Behold, I come; in the sumⓘ of the books it is written concerning me, that I shall do thy will, Aloha. |
[8]From above He said "sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings peace for sins not You wanted those that offered were by The Written Law |
[8]Aboveⓘ he said, Victims, and oblations, and entire burnt-offerings for sin thou hast not willed; those which are offered in the law. |
[9]And afterward He said Behold have come I to do Your will O Alaha in this He abolishes the first to establish the second |
[9]And afterwards he said, Behold, I come, that I may do thy will, Aloha. In this he hath done away with the first, that he may establish the second. |
[10]In this for His will we are made holy in the offering of the body of Ieshu The Messiah one time |
[10]For by this his will we are sanctified by the offering of the body of Jeshu Meshiha, which was once. |
[11]Every High Priest for who stood has and serves everyday those in those sacrifices offering was those that from old times not able were to purge sins |
[11]For every high priest who stood and ministered every day, offered the same sacrifices, which can never purify [from] sins. |
[12]This but one sacrifice He offered for the sake of sins and He sat at the right side of Alaha for eternity |
[12]But thisⓘ one sacrifice hath offered for sins, and hath sat down at the right hand of Aloha for ever: |
[13]And He remains therefore until are put His enemies as a footstool under His feet |
[13]Waiting from henceforth until his adversaries are set as a footstool beneath his feet. |
[14]By one for offering He has perfected those who are sanctified by it for eternity |
[14]For by one offering he hath perfected those who are sanctified through him for ever. |
[15]Testifies to us but also The Spirit of Holiness Who says |
[15]Now the witness unto us is the Spirit of Holiness, when he saith, |
[16]This is the covenant that I shall give them from after days those says the Lord I shall give My Law into their minds and upon their hearts I shall write it |
[16]This is the covenant that I will give to them from after those days, saith the Lord: I will give my law in their minds, and upon their hearts will I inscribe it; |
[17]And their evils and their sins not I shall remember them |
[17]And their iniquity and their sins I will not remember against them. |
[18]Where but there is forgiveness of sins not is needed an offering for sins |
[18]BUT WHERE THERE IS REMISSION OF SINS, THERE IS NOT REQUIRED AN OFFERING FOR SINS. |
[19]There is to us therefore brothers openness of face in the entrance of the place holy by the blood of Ieshu |
[19]We have, therefore, my brethren, confidenceⓘ to enterⓘ the holy place through the blood of Jeshu; and a way of life |
[20]And the way of The Life Who renewed us now within the veil which is His flesh |
[20]Which he hath now made new to us through the veil, which is his flesh; |
[21]And there is for us The Priest Great over the house of Alaha |
[21]And we have the High Priest over the house of God. |
[22]Let us approach therefore with a heart true and confidence of faith while sprinkled in our hearts and purified from a conscience wicked and bathing our bodies in water pure |
[22]Let us, therefore, draw near with a confirmed heart, and the full security of faith, with our hearts sprinkled and cleansed from an evil conscience, and our body washed with pure waters; |
[23]And let us grasp firmly the confession of our hope and not let us waver faithful He is for Who promised us |
[23]And let us persevere in the confession of our hope, and not swerve; for faithful is He who hath promised us. |
[24]And let us pay attention to one another by encouragement of love and of works good |
[24]And let us consider one anotherⓘ with incitement to charity and good works. |
[25]And not we should be forsaking our meetings as is the custom for each person but look for one of another all the more as long as you see that draws near day that |
[25]And let us not forsake our congregation, as is the custom with some; but pray one with another; [and] so much the more as ye see that day to be approaching. |
[26]If for by his will shall sin a man from after receiving the knowledge of the truth there is not afterward a sacrifice to be offered in the place of sins |
[26]FOR if with his will any man shall sin after he hath received the knowledge of the truth, there is not still a victim to be offered for sins; |
[27]But is ready that judgment terrible and zeal of fire which consumes the enemies |
[27]But a fearful judgment to come, and burning fire which devoureth the adversaries. |
[28]If for any violated against The Law of Moses by the mouth of two or three witnesses without mercy he would die |
[28]For if he who transgressed the law of Musha, upon the mouth of two or three witnesses, without mercy died; |
[29]How much? think you more the decree chief he will receive he who trampled upon The Son of Alaha and esteemed the blood of covenant His like that of every person who by it was made holy and he has despised The Spirit of grace |
[29]How much greater punishment, think ye, shall he receive who hath trampled upon the Son of Aloha, and hath counted the blood of the covenant of him by which he had been sanctified as that of every man and hath insulted the Spirit of grace? |
[30]We know Him Who said "mine is vengeance and I shall give payment and again "will judge the Lord His people |
[30]We know him who hath said, Retribution is mine, and I will repay: and again, The Lord shall judge his people. |
[31]Terrible it is very to fall into the hands of Alaha The Living |
[31]How terribleⓘ to fall into the hands of Aloha the Living! |
[32]Remember therefore the days first those in which you received baptism and a contest great you endured of suffering with shame and affliction |
[32]Be mindful, therefore, of the first days, those in which ye received baptism; and when ye sustained a great agony of sufferings, with ignominy and affliction; |
[33]And you became a spectacle and also you were made associates with people who these things endured |
[33]And when ye were made gazing-stocks, and were associated with men who also endured these [things]. |
[34]And it was grievous to you concerning those who were imprisoned and the robbery of your possessions with joy you endured because know you there is to you a possession in Heaven which greater is and not it passes away |
[34]And it afflicted you on account of them who were bound; and the pillage of your goods with joy ye sustained, as knowing that ye have a possession in heaven, which is better, and passeth not away. |
[35]Not therefore throw away openness of face that is to you for there is coming for it a reward great |
[35]Destroy not, therefore, the confidence which you have, for which there is a great reward. |
[36]Patience is for necessary for you to do the will of Alaha and receive the promise |
[36]But patience is needed by you, that ye may do the will of Aloha, and receive the promise. |
[37]Because little there is time and very little when will come He Who comes and not will delay |
[37]Because [yet] a little time, and a very little, and He who cometh shall come, and not be slow. |
[38]The righteous one but from faith My shall live and if he gives up it not is pleased with him My soul |
[38]But the just by the faith of me shall live; but if he become weary,ⓘ my soul delighteth not in him. |
[39]We but not are of despondency which leads to destruction but of the faith that imparts to us our soul |
[39]BUT we are not of the wearinessⓘ which bringethⓘ to perdition, but of the faith which maketh us to possess our soul. |
