[1]τοῦ ἔτους οὗ εἰσῆλθεν ταναθαν εἰς ἄζωτον ἡνίκα ἀπεστάλη ὑπὸ αρνα βασιλέως ἀσσυρίων καὶ ἐπολέμησεν τὴν ἄζωτον καὶ κατελάβετο αὐτήν |
| [2]At the same timeH6256 spakeH1696[H8765] the LORDH3068 byH3027 IsaiahH3470 the sonH1121 of AmozH531, sayingH559[H8800], GoH3212[H8798] and looseH6605[H8765] the sackclothH8242 from off thy loinsH4975, and put offH2502[H8799] thy shoeH5275 from thy footH7272. And he did soH6213[H8799], walkingH1980[H8800] nakedH6174 and barefootH3182. |
[2]τότε ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ησαιαν λέγων πορεύου καὶ ἄφελε τὸν σάκκον ἀπὸ τῆς ὀσφύος σου καὶ τὰ σανδάλιά σου ὑπόλυσαι ἀπὸ τῶν ποδῶν σου καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως πορευόμενος γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος |
| [3]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799], Like as my servantH5650 IsaiahH3470 hath walkedH1980[H8804] nakedH6174 and barefootH3182 threeH7969 yearsH8141 for a signH226 and wonderH4159 upon EgyptH4714 and upon EthiopiaH3568; |
[3]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ὃν τρόπον πεπόρευται ησαιας ὁ παῖς μου γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος τρία ἔτη ἔσται σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα τοῖς αἰγυπτίοις καὶ αἰθίοψιν |
| [4]So shall the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 lead awayH5090[H8799] the EgyptiansH4714 prisonersH7628, and the EthiopiansH3568 captivesH1546, youngH5288 and oldH2205, nakedH6174 and barefootH3182, even with their buttocksH8357 uncoveredH2834[H8803], to the shameH6172 of EgyptH4714. |
[4]ὅτι οὕτως ἄξει βασιλεὺς ἀσσυρίων τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν αἰγύπτου καὶ αἰθιόπων νεανίσκους καὶ πρεσβύτας γυμνοὺς καὶ ἀνυποδέτους ἀνακεκαλυμμένους τὴν αἰσχύνην αἰγύπτου |
| [5]And they shall be afraidH2865[H8804] and ashamedH954[H8804] of EthiopiaH3568 their expectationH4007, and of EgyptH4714 their gloryH8597. |
[5]καὶ αἰσχυνθήσονται ἡττηθέντες οἱ αἰγύπτιοι ἐπὶ τοῖς αἰθίοψιν ἐφ οἷς ἦσαν πεποιθότες οἱ αἰγύπτιοι ἦσαν γὰρ αὐτοῖς δόξα |
| [6]And the inhabitantH3427[H8802] of this isleH339 shall sayH559[H8804] in that dayH3117, Behold, suchH3541 is our expectationH4007, whither we fleeH5127[H8804] for helpH5833 to be deliveredH5337[H8736] fromH6440 the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804: and how shall we escapeH4422?[H8735] |
[6]καὶ ἐροῦσιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν τῇ νήσῳ ταύτῃ ἰδοὺ ἡμεῖς ἦμεν πεποιθότες τοῦ φυγεῖν εἰς αὐτοὺς εἰς βοήθειαν οἳ οὐκ ἐδύναντο σωθῆναι ἀπὸ βασιλέως ἀσσυρίων καὶ πῶς ἡμεῖς σωθησόμεθα |
