[1]Thus said Jehovah, To His anointed, to Cyrus, Whose right hand I have laid hold on, To subdue nations before him, Yea, loins of kings I loose, To open before him two-leaved doors, Yea, gates are not shut: |
| [2]ἐγώRP-NS ἔμπροσθενP σύRP-GS πορεύομαιVF-FMI1S καίC ὄροςN3E-APN ὁμαλίζωVF2-FAI1S θύραN1A-APF χαλκοῦςA1C-APF συντρίβωVF-FAI1S καίC μοχλόςN2-APM σίδηροςN2-APM συνκλαίωVF-FAI1S |
[2]`I go before thee, and crooked places make straight, Two-leaved doors of brass I shiver, And bars of iron I cut asunder, |
| [3]καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S σύRP-DS θησαυρόςN2-APM σκοτεινόςA1-APM ἀπόκρυφοςA1B-APM ἀόρατοςA1B-APM ἀναοἴγωVA-AAS1S σύRP-DS ἵναC γιγνώσκωVZ-AAS2S ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM καλέωV2-PAPNSM ὁRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN σύRP-GS θεόςN2-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[3]And have given to thee treasures of darkness, Even treasures of secret places, So that thou knowest that I, Jehovah, Who am calling on thy name -- [am] the God of Israel. |
| [4]ἕνεκενP *ἰακώβN--GSM ὁRA-GSM παῖςN3D-GSM ἐγώRP-GS καίC *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-GSM ἐκλεκτόςA1-GSM ἐγώRP-GS ἐγώRP-NS καλέωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AS ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN σύRP-GS καίC προςδέχομαιVF-FMI1S σύRP-AS σύRP-NS δέX οὐD γιγνώσκωVZI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-AS |
[4]For the sake of my servant Jacob, And of Israel My chosen, I call also thee by thy name, I surname thee, And thou hast not known Me. |
| [5]ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἔτιD πλήνP ἐγώRP-GS θεόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD οἶδαVY-YAI2S ἐγώRP-AS |
[5]I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else, Except Me there is no God, I gird thee, and thou hast not known Me. |
| [6]ἵναC γιγνώσκωVZ-AAS3P ὁRA-NPM ἀπόP ἀνατολήN1-GPF ἥλιοςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-NPM ἀπόP δυσμήN1-GPF ὅτιC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S πλήνP ἐγώRP-GS ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἔτιD |
[6]So that they know from the rising of the sun, And from the west, that there is none besides Me, I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else, |
| [7]ἐγώRP-NS ὁRA-NSM κατασκευάζωVA-AAPNSM φῶςN3T-ASN καίC ποιέωVA-AAPNSM σκότοςN3E-ASN ὁRA-NSM ποιέωV2-PAPNSM εἰρήνηN1-ASF καίC κτίζωV1-PAPNSM κακόςA1-APN ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM ποιέωV2-PAPNSM οὗτοςRD-APN πᾶςA3-APN |
[7]Forming light, and preparing darkness, Making peace, and preparing evil, I [am] Jehovah, doing all these things.' |
| [8]εὐφραίνωVC-APD3S ὁRA-NSM οὐρανόςN2-NSM ἄνωθενD καίC ὁRA-NPF νεφέληN1-NPF ῥαίνωVZ-AAD3P δικαιοσύνηN1-ASF ἀνατέλλωVA-AAD3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF ἔλεοςN3E-ASN καίC δικαιοσύνηN1-ASF ἀνατέλλωVA-AAD3S ἅμαD ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM κτίζωVA-AAPNSM σύRP-AS |
[8]Drop, ye heavens, from above, And clouds do cause righteousness to flow, Earth openeth, and they are fruitful, Salvation and righteousness spring up together, I, Jehovah, have prepared it. |
| [9]ποῖοςA1A-ASN βελτίωνA3C-ASN κατασκευάζωVAI-AAI1S ὡςD πηλόςN2-ASM κεραμεύςN3V-GSM μήD ὁRA-NSM ἀροτριάωV3-PAPNSM ἀροτριάωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὅλοςA1-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἡμέραN1A-ASF μήD εἶπονVF2-FAI3S ὁRA-NSM πηλόςN2-NSM ὁRA-DSM κεραμεύςN3V-DSM τίςRI-ASN ποιέωV2-PAI2S ὅτιC οὐD ἐργάζομαιV1-PMI2S οὐδέC ἔχωV1-PAI2S χείρN3-APF |
[9]Wo [to] him who is striving with his Former, (A potsherd with potsherds of the ground!) Doth clay say to its Framer, `What dost thou?' And thy work, `He hath no hands?' |
| [10]ὁRA-NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ὁRA-DSM πατήρN3-DSM τίςRI-ASN γεννάωVF-FAI2S καίC ὁRA-DSF μήτηρN3-DSF τίςRI-ASN ὠδίνωVF-FAI2S |
[10]Wo [to] him who is saying to a father, `What dost thou beget?' Or to a wife, `What dost thou bring forth? |
| [11]ὅτιC οὕτωςD λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM ἅγιοςA1A-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-NSM ποιέωVA-AAPNSM ὁRA-APN ἐπιἔρχομαιV1-PMPAPN ἐρωτάωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-AS περίP ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM ἐγώRP-GS καίC περίP ὁRA-GPF θυγάτηρN3-GPF ἐγώRP-GS καίC περίP ὁRA-GPN ἔργονN2N-GPN ὁRA-GPF χείρN3-GPF ἐγώRP-GS ἐντέλλομαιVA-AMD2P ἐγώRP-DS |
[11]Thus said Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel, and his Former: Ask Me of the things coming concerning My sons, Yea, concerning the work of My hands, ye command Me.' |
| [12]ἐγώRP-NS ποιέωVAI-AAI1S γῆN1-ASF καίC ἄνθρωποςN2-ASM ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐγώRP-NS ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF ἐγώRP-GS στερεόωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-NS πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN ἄστρονN2N-DPN ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI1S |
[12]I made earth, and man on it prepared, I -- My hands stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded. |
| [13]ἐγώRP-NS ἀγείρωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASM μετάP δικαιοσύνηN1-GSF βασιλεύςN3V-ASM καίC πᾶςA1S-NPF ὁRA-NPF ὁδόςN2-NPF αὐτόςRD-GSM εὐθύςA3U-NPF οὗτοςRD-NSM οἰκοδομέωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF ἐγώRP-GS καίC ὁRA-ASF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GS ἐπιστρέφωVF-FAI3S οὐD μετάP λύτρονN2N-GPN οὐδέC μετάP δῶρονN2N-GPN εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM σαβαωθN--G |
[13]I have stirred him up in righteousness, And all his ways I make straight, He doth build My city, and My captivity doth send out, Not for price, nor for bribe, said Jehovah of Hosts. |
| [14]οὕτωςD λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM σαβαωθN--G κοπιάωVAI-AAI3S *αἴγυπτοςN2-NSF καίC ἐμπορίαN1A-NSF *αἰθίοψN3P-GPM καίC ὁRA-NPM *σεβωινN--NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ὑψηλόςA1-NPM ἐπίP σύRP-AS διαβαίνωVF-FMI3P καίC σύRP-DS εἰμίVF-FMI3P δοῦλοςN2-NPM καίC ὀπίσωD σύRP-GS ἀκολουθέωVF-FAI3P δέωVM-XMPNPM χειροπέδηN1-DPF καίC προςκυνέωVF-FAI3P σύRP-DS καίC ἐνP σύRP-DS προςεὔχομαιVF-FMI3P ὅτιC ἐνP σύRP-DS ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI3P οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S θεόςN2-NSM πλήνP σύRP-GS |
[14]Thus said Jehovah, `The labour of Egypt, And the merchandise of Cush, And of the Sebaim -- men of measure, Unto thee pass over, and thine they are, After thee they go, in fetters they pass over, And unto thee they bow themselves, Unto thee they pray: Only in thee [is] God, And there is none else, no [other] God. |

[15]Surely Thou [art] a God hiding Thyself, God of Israel -- Saviour! |
| [16]αἰσχύνωVC-FPI3P καίC ἐντρέπωVD-FPI3P πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἀντικεῖμαιV5-PMPNPM αὐτόςRD-DSM καίC πορεύομαιVF-FMI3P ἐνP αἰσχύνηN1-DSF ἐνκαινίζωVA-AMD2P πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS νήσοςN2-NPF |
[16]They have been ashamed, And they have even blushed -- all of them, Together gone in confusion have those carving images. |
| [17]*ἰσραήλN--NSM σώζωV1-PMI3S ὑπόP κύριοςN2-GSM σωτηρίαN1A-ASF αἰώνιοςA1B-ASF οὐD αἰσχύνωVC-FPI3P οὐδέC μήD ἐντρέπωVB-AAS3P ἕωςP ὁRA-GSM αἰώνN3W-GSM |
[17]Israel hath been saved in Jehovah, A salvation age-during! Ye are not ashamed nor confounded Unto the ages of eternity! |
| [18]οὕτωςD λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM ποιέωVA-AAPNSM ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM καταδεικνύωVA-AAPNSM ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC ποιέωVA-AAPNSM αὐτόςRD-ASF αὐτόςRD-NSM διαὁρίζωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF οὐD εἰςP κενόςA1-ASM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF ἀλλάC καταοἰκέωV2-PMN ἐγώRI-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S καίC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἔτιD |
[18]For thus said Jehovah, Creator of heaven, He is God, Former of earth, and its Maker, He established it -- not empty He prepared it, For inhabiting He formed it: `I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else. |
| [19]οὐD ἐνP κρυφῇD λαλέωVX-XAI1S οὐδέC ἐνP τόποςN2-DSM γῆN1-GSF σκοτεινόςA1-DSM οὐD εἶπονVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-DSN σπέρμαN3M-DSN *ἰακώβN--GSM μάταιοςA1B-ASM ζητέωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM λαλέωV2-PAPNSM δικαιοσύνηN1-ASF καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωV1-PAPNSM ἀλήθειαN1A-ASF |
[19]Not in secret have I spoken, in a dark place of the earth, I have not said to the seed of Jacob, In vain seek ye Me, I [am] Jehovah, speaking righteousness, Declaring uprightness. |
| [20]συνἄγωVQ-APD2P καίC ἥκωV1-PAD2P βουλεύωVA-AMD2P ἅμαD ὁRA-NPM σώζωV1-PPPNPM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN οὐD γιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM αἴρωV1-PAPNPM ὁRA-ASN ξύλονN2N-ASN γλύμμαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC προςεὔχομαιV1-PMPNPM ὡςD πρόςP θεόςN2-APM ὅςRR-NPM οὐD σώζωV1-PAI3P |
[20]Be gathered, and come in, Come nigh together, ye escaped of the nations, They have not known, Who are lifting up the wood of their graven image, And praying unto a god [that] saveth not. |
| [21]εἰX ἀναἀγγέλλωVF2-FAI3P ἐγγίζωVA-AAD3P ἵναC γιγνώσκωVZ-AAS3P ἅμαD τίςRI-NSM ἀκουστόςA1-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S οὗτοςRD-APN ἀπόP ἀρχήN1-GSF τότεD ἀναἀγγέλλωVDI-API3S σύRP-DP ἐγώRP-NS ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἄλλοςRD-NSM πλήνP ἐγώRP-GS δίκαιοςA1A-NSM καίC σωτήρN3-NSM οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S πάρεξP ἐγώRP-GS |
[21]Declare ye, and bring near, Yea, they take counsel together, Who hath proclaimed this from of old? From that time hath declared it? Is it not I -- Jehovah? And there is no other god besides Me, A God righteous and saving, there is none save Me. |
| [22]ἐπιστρέφωVD-APD2P πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS καίC σώζωVC-FPI2P ὁRA-NPM ἀπόP ἔσχατοςA1-GSM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἄλλοςRD-NSM |
[22]Turn to Me, and be saved, all ends of the earth, For I [am] God, and there is none else. |
| [23]κατάP ἐμαυτοῦRD-GSM ὄμνυμιV5-PAI1S ἦX μήνX ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S ἐκP ὁRA-GSN στόμαN3M-GSN ἐγώRP-GS δικαιοσύνηN1-NSF ὁRA-NPM λόγοςN2-NPM ἐγώRP-GS οὐD ἀποστρέφωVD-FPI3P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-DS κάμπτωVF-FAI3S πᾶςA3-NSN γόνυN3-NSN καίC ἐκὁμολογέωVF-FMI3S πᾶςA1S-NSF γλῶσσαN1S-NSF ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM |
[23]By Myself I have sworn, Gone out from my mouth in righteousness hath a word, And it turneth not back, That to Me, bow doth every knee, every tongue swear. |

[24]Only in Jehovah, said hath one, Have I righteousness and strength, Unto Him he cometh in, And ashamed are all those displeased with Him. |

[25]In Jehovah are all the seed of Israel justified, And they boast themselves.' |
