| [2]καὶ ἔκρινεν τὸν ισραηλ εἴκοσι τρία ἔτη καὶ ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν σαμιρ |
[2]And he judgedH8199[H8799] IsraelH3478 twentyH6242 and threeH7969 yearsH8141, and diedH4191[H8799], and was buriedH6912[H8735] in ShamirH8069. |
| [3]καὶ ἀνέστη μετ αὐτὸν ιαϊρ ὁ γαλααδ καὶ ἔκρινεν τὸν ισραηλ εἴκοσι δύο ἔτη |
[3]And afterH310 him aroseH6965[H8799] JairH2971, a GileaditeH1569, and judgedH8199[H8799] IsraelH3478 twentyH6242 and twoH8147 yearsH8141. |
| [4]καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ τριάκοντα καὶ δύο υἱοὶ ἐπιβαίνοντες ἐπὶ τριάκοντα δύο πώλους καὶ τριάκοντα δύο πόλεις αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐκάλουν αὐτὰς ἐπαύλεις ιαϊρ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἐν γῇ γαλααδ |
[4]And he had thirtyH7970 sonsH1121 that rodeH7392[H8802] on thirtyH7970 ass coltsH5895, and they had thirtyH7970 citiesH5892, which are calledH7121[H8799] HavothjairH2334 unto this dayH3117, which are in the landH776 of GileadH1568. |
| [5]καὶ ἀπέθανεν ιαϊρ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν ραμνων |
[5]And JairH2971 diedH4191[H8799], and was buriedH6912[H8735] in CamonH7056. |
| [6]καὶ προσέθεντο οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ ἐδούλευσαν τοῖς βααλιμ καὶ ταῖς ασταρωθ καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς αραδ καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς σιδῶνος καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς μωαβ καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς υἱῶν αμμων καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς φυλιστιιμ καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον τὸν κύριον καὶ οὐκ ἐδούλευσαν αὐτῷ |

| [7]καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμῷ κύριος ἐν ισραηλ καὶ ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς ἐν χειρὶ φυλιστιιμ καὶ ἐν χειρὶ υἱῶν αμμων |
[7]And the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 was hotH2734[H8799] against IsraelH3478, and he soldH4376[H8799] them into the handsH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430, and into the handsH3027 of the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983. |
| [8]καὶ ἔθλιψαν καὶ ἔθλασαν τοὺς υἱοὺς ισραηλ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ δέκα ὀκτὼ ἔτη τοὺς πάντας υἱοὺς ισραηλ τοὺς ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ ιορδάνου ἐν γῇ τοῦ αμορρι τοῦ ἐν γαλααδ |
[8]And that yearH8141 they vexedH7492[H8799] and oppressedH7533[H8779] the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: eighteenH8083[H6240] yearsH8141, all the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 that were on the other sideH5676 JordanH3383 in the landH776 of the AmoritesH567, which is in GileadH1568. |
| [9]καὶ διέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ αμμων τὸν ιορδάνην παρατάξασθαι πρὸς ιουδαν καὶ βενιαμιν καὶ πρὸς εφραιμ καὶ ἐθλίβη ισραηλ σφόδρα |
[9]Moreover the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 passed overH5674[H8799] JordanH3383 to fightH3898[H8736] also against JudahH3063, and against BenjaminH1144, and against the houseH1004 of EphraimH669; so that IsraelH3478 was soreH3966 distressedH3334.[H8799] |
| [10]καὶ ἐβόησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον λέγοντες ἡμάρτομέν σοι ὅτι ἐγκατελίπομεν τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐδουλεύσαμεν τῷ βααλιμ |
[10]And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 criedH2199[H8799] unto the LORDH3068, sayingH559[H8800], We have sinnedH2398[H8804] against thee, both because we have forsakenH5800[H8804] our GodH430, and also servedH5647[H8799] BaalimH1168. |
| [11]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς ισραηλ μὴ οὐχὶ ἐξ αἰγύπτου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ αμορραίου καὶ ἀπὸ υἱῶν αμμων καὶ ἀπὸ φυλιστιιμ |
[11]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Did not I deliver you from the EgyptiansH4714, and from the AmoritesH567, from the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983, and from the PhilistinesH6430? |
| [12]καὶ σιδωνίων καὶ αμαληκ καὶ μαδιαμ οἳ ἔθλιψαν ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐβοήσατε πρός με καὶ ἔσωσα ὑμᾶς ἐκ χειρὸς αὐτῶν |
[12]The ZidoniansH6722 also, and the AmalekitesH6002, and the MaonitesH4584, did oppressH3905[H8804] you; and ye criedH6817[H8799] to me, and I deliveredH3467[H8686] you out of their handH3027. |
| [13]καὶ ὑμεῖς ἐγκατελίπετέ με καὶ ἐδουλεύσατε θεοῖς ἑτέροις διὰ τοῦτο οὐ προσθήσω τοῦ σῶσαι ὑμᾶς |
[13]Yet ye have forsakenH5800[H8804] me, and servedH5647[H8799] otherH312 godsH430: wherefore I will deliverH3467[H8687] you no moreH3254.[H8686] |
| [14]πορεύεσθε καὶ βοήσατε πρὸς τοὺς θεούς οὓς ἐξελέξασθε ἑαυτοῖς καὶ αὐτοὶ σωσάτωσαν ὑμᾶς ἐν καιρῷ θλίψεως ὑμῶν |
[14]GoH3212[H8798] and cryH2199[H8798] unto the godsH430 which ye have chosenH977[H8804]; let themH1992 deliverH3467[H8686] you in the timeH6256 of your tribulationH6869. |
| [15]καὶ εἶπαν οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον ἡμάρτομεν ποίησον σὺ ἡμῖν κατὰ πᾶν τὸ ἀγαθὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς σου πλὴν ἐξελοῦ ἡμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ |
[15]And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 saidH559[H8799] unto the LORDH3068, We have sinnedH2398[H8804]: doH6213[H8798] thou unto us whatsoever seemethH5869 goodH2896 unto thee; deliverH5337[H8685] us only, we pray thee, this dayH3117. |
| [16]καὶ ἐξέκλιναν τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν καὶ ἐδούλευσαν τῷ κυρίῳ μόνῳ καὶ ὠλιγώθη ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ ἐν κόπῳ ισραηλ |
[16]And they put awayH5493[H8686] the strangeH5236 godsH430 from amongH7130 them, and servedH5647[H8799] the LORDH3068: and his soulH5315 was grievedH7114[H8799] for the miseryH5999 of IsraelH3478. |
| [17]καὶ ἀνέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ αμμων καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν γαλααδ καὶ συνήχθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ σκοπιᾷ |
[17]Then the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 were gathered togetherH6817[H8735], and encampedH2583[H8799] in GileadH1568. And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 assembled themselves togetherH622[H8735], and encampedH2583[H8799] in MizpehH4709. |
| [18]καὶ εἶπον ὁ λαὸς οἱ ἄρχοντες γαλααδ ἀνὴρ πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ τίς ὁ ἀνήρ ὅστις ἂν ἄρξηται παρατάξασθαι πρὸς υἱοὺς αμμων καὶ ἔσται εἰς ἄρχοντα πᾶσιν τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν γαλααδ |
[18]And the peopleH5971 and princesH8269 of GileadH1568 saidH559[H8799] oneH376 to anotherH7453, What manH376 is he that will beginH2490[H8686] to fightH3898[H8736] against the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983? he shall be headH7218 over all the inhabitantsH3427[H8802] of GileadH1568. |
