[1]Elihu also proceeded, and saide |
[2]μένωVA-AAD2S ἐγώRP-AS μικρόςA1A-ASM ἔτιD ἵναC διδάσκωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AS ἔτιD γάρX ἐνP ἐγώRP-DS εἰμίV9-PAI3S λέξιςN3I-NSF |
[2]Holde thee still a litle, & I shall shew thee what I haue yet to speake on gods behalfe |
[3]ἀναλαμβάνωVB-AAPNSM ὁRA-ASF ἐπιστήμηN1-ASF ἐγώRP-GS μακράνD ἔργονN2N-DPN δέX ἐγώRP-GS δίκαιοςA1A-APN εἶπονVF2-FAI1S |
[3]I wyll open vnto thee yet farre higher knowledge, and wil ascribe righteousnesse vnto my maker |
[4]ἐπίP ἀλήθειαN1A-GSF καίC οὐD ἄδικοςA1B-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN ἀδίκωςD συνἵημιV7-PAI2S |
[4]And truely my wordes shall not be vaine, seeing he is with thee that is perfect in knowledge |
[5]γιγνώσκωV1-PAD2S δέX ὅτιC ὁRA-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM οὐD μήD ἀποποιέωVA-AMS3S ὁRA-ASM ἄκακοςA1B-ASM δυνατόςA1-NSM ἰσχύςN3U-DSF καρδίαN1A-GSF |
[5]Beholde, the great God casteth away no man, for he him selfe is mightie in power and wysdome |
[6]ἀσεβήςA3H-ASM οὐD μήD ζωοποιέωVF-FAI3S καίC κρίμαN3M-ASN πτωχόςN2-GPM δίδωμιVF-FAI3S |
[6]As for the vngodly he shall not preserue him, but shall helpe the poore to their right |
[7]οὐD ἀποαἱρέωVF2-FAI3S ἀπόP δίκαιοςA1A-GSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC μετάP βασιλεύςN3V-GPM εἰςP θρόνοςN2-ASM καίC καταἵζωVF2-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP νεῖκοςN3E-ASN καίC ὑψόωVC-FPI3P |
[7]He shal not turne his eyes away from the righteous, but as kinges shal they be in their throne, he shal stablish them for euer, and they shalbe exalted |
[8]καίC εἰC πεδάωVM-XPPNPM ἐνP χειροπέδηN1-DPF συνἔχωVM-FPI3P ἐνP σχοινίονN2-DPN πενίαN1A-GSF |
[8]But if they be layde in chaynes, or bounde with the bondes of trouble |
[9]καίC ἀναἀγγέλλωVF2-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ὁRA-APN παράπτωμαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM ὅτιC ἰσχύωVF-FAI3P |
[9]Then wyll he shew them their worke, & their sinnes which haue ouercome them |
[10]ἀλλάC ὁRA-GSM δίκαιοςA1A-GSM εἰςἀκούωVF-FMI3S καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὅτιC ἐπιστρέφωVD-FPI3P ἐκP ἀδικίαN1A-GSF |
[10]He with punishing and nurturing of them, roundeth them in the eares, warneth them to leaue of from their wickednesse, and to amende |
[11]ἐάνC ἀκούωVA-AAS3P καίC δουλεύωVA-AAS3P συντελέωVF-FAI3P ὁRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐνP ἀγαθόςA1-DPM καίC ὁRA-APN ἔτοςN3E-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐνP εὐπρέπειαN1A-DPF |
[11]If they now wyll take heede & serue him, they shal weare out their dayes in prosperitie, and their yeres in pleasure |
[12]ἀσεβήςA3H-NPM δέX οὐD διασώζωV1-PAI3S παράP ὁRA-ASN μήD βούλομαιV1-PMN οἶδαVX-XAN αὐτόςRD-APM ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM καίC διότιC νουθετέωV2-PMPNPM ἀνήκοοςA1B-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P |
[12]But if they wil not hearken, they shal go through the sworde, and perishe or euer they be aware |
[13]καίC ὑποκριτήςN1M-NSM καρδίαN1A-DSF τάσσωVF-FAI3P θυμόςN2-ASM οὐD βοάωVF-FMI3P ὅτιC δέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM |
[13]As for hypocrites in heart, they shall heape vp wrath [for them selues] for they call not vpon him, though they be his prisoners |
[14]ἀποθνήσκωVB-AAO3S τοίνυνX ἐνP νεότηςN3T-DSF ὁRA-NSF ψυχήN1-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὁRA-NSF δέX ζωήN1-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM τιτρώσκωV1-PPPNSF ὑπόP ἄγγελοςN2-GPM |
[14]Thus shal their soule perishe in foolishnes, and their lyfe among the fornicatours |
[15]ἀντίP ὅςRR-GPM θλίβωVAI-AAI3P ἀσθενήςA3H-APN καίC ἀδύνατοςA1B-ASM κρίμαN3M-ASN δέX πραΰςA3U-GPM ἐκτίθημιVF-FAI3S |
[15]The poore shall he deliuer out of his affliction, and rounde them in the eare when they be in trouble |
[16]καίC προσέτιD ἀπατάωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-AS ἐκP στόμαN3M-GSN ἐχθρόςN2-GSM ἄβυσσοςN2-NSF κατάχυσιςN3I-NSF ὑποκάτωD αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC καταβαίνωVZI-AAI3S τράπεζαN1S-NSF σύRP-GS πλήρηςA3H-NSM πιότηςN3T-GSF |
[16]Euen so would he take thee out of the straite place, into a brode place in the which there is no straitnes: yea, & make thy table quiet replenished with fatnesse |
[17]οὐD ὑστερέωVF-FAI3S δέX ἀπόP δίκαιοςA1A-GPM κρίμαN3M-ASN |
[17]Neuerthelesse, thou hast commended the iudgement of the vngodly, and euen such a iudgement & sentence shalt thou suffer |
[18]θυμόςN2-NSM δέX ἐπίP ἀσεβήςA3H-APM εἰμίVF-FMI3S διάP ἀσέβειαN1A-ASF δῶρονN2N-GPN ὅςRR-GPN δέχομαιV1I-IMI3P ἐπίP ἀδικίαN1A-DPF |
[18]And seeing there is wrath with God, beware lest he take thee away in thy wealth, & all that thou hast to redeeme thee can not deliuer thee |
[19]μήD σύRP-AS ἐκκλίνωVA-AAD3S ἑκώνA3P-NSM ὁRA-NSM νοῦςN3E-NSM δέησιςN3I-GSF ἐνP ἀνάγκηN1-DSF εἰμίV9-PAPGPM ἀδύνατοςA1B-GPM καίC πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM κραταιόωV4-PAPAPM ἰσχύςN3U-ASF |
[19]Thinkest thou that he wyll regarde thy riches? he shall not care for golde, nor for all them that excell in strength |
[20]μήD ἐκἕλκωVA-AAS2S ὁRA-ASF νύξN3-ASF τοῦRA-GSN ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAN λαόςN2-APM ἀντίP αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[20]Spend not the night in carefull thoughtes, how he destroyeth some, and bringeth other in their place |
[21]ἀλλάC φυλάσσωVA-AMD2S μήD πράσσωVA-AAS2S ἄτοποςA1B-APN ἐπίP οὗτοςRD-ASM γάρX ἐκεἰλέωV2-PAI1S ἀπόP πτωχείαN1A-GSF |
[21]But beware that thou turne not aside to wickednesse and sinne, which hitherto thou hast chosen more then affliction |
[22]ἰδούI ὁRA-NSM ἰσχυρόςA1A-NSM κραταιόωVF-FAI3S ἐνP ἰσχύςN3U-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM τίςRI-NSM γάρX εἰμίV9-PAI3S κατάP αὐτόςRD-ASM δυνάστηςN1M-NSM |
[22]Beholde, God is of a mightie hie power: Where is there such a guide and lawe geuer as he |
[23]τίςRI-NSM δέX εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἐτάζωV1-PAPNSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN ἤC τίςRI-NSM ὁRA-NSM εἶπονVA-AAPNSM πράσσωVAI-AAI3S ἄδικοςA1B-APN |
[23]Who wyll reproue him of his way? Who wil say vnto him, Thou hast done wrong |
[24]μιμνήσκωVS-APD2S ὅτιC μέγαςA1-NPN εἰμίV9-PAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-NPN ἔργονN2N-NPN ὅςRR-GPM ἄρχωVAI-AAI3P ἀνήρN3-NPM |
[24]Remember that thou do magnifie his worke which men do praise |
[25]πᾶςA3-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ἐνP ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM ὅσοςA1-NPM τιτρώσκωV1-PPPNPM εἰμίV9-PAI3P βροτόςN2-NPM |
[25]All men see it, yea men do beholde it a farre of |
[26]ἰδούI ὁRA-NSM ἰσχυρόςA1A-NSM πολύςA1-NSM καίC οὐD γιγνώσκωVF-FMI1P ἀριθμόςN2-NSM ἔτοςN3E-GPN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἀπέραντοςA1B-NSM |
[26]Beholde, so great is God that he passeth our knowledge, neither can the number of his yeres be searched out |
[27]ἀριθμέωV2-PMS3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM σταγώνN3N-NPF ὑετόςN2-GSM καίC ἐπιχέωVC-FPI3P ὑετόςN2-DSM εἰςP νεφέληN1-ASF |
[27]Sometime he restrayneth the rayne, and againe he sendeth rayne by his cloudes |
