PesNT(Eth)
[1]These wordes spake Iesus, and lift vp his eyes to heauen, and sayde: Father, the houre is come, glorifie thy sonne that thy sonne also may glorifie thee [1]These spake Jeshu; and, uplifting his eyes to heaven, he said, My Father, the hour hath come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.
[2]As thou hast geuen hym power ouer all fleshe, that he shoulde geue eternall life, to as many as thou hast geuen him [2]As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him he should give the life which is eternal.
[3]This is lyfe eternall, that they myght knowe thee, the only true God, & Iesus Christe whom thou hast sent [3]But this is the life which is eternal, that they know thee, who art the true Aloha, and Him whom thou hast sent, Jeshu Meshicha.
[4]I haue glorified thee on the earth: I haue finished ye worke, which thou gauest me to do [4]I have glorified thee on the earth; the work which thou didst give me to do, I have finished it.
[5]And nowe glorifie thou me, O father, with thine owne selfe, with the glory which I had with thee yer the worlde was [5]And now glorify thou me, my Father, with thyself, in that glory which I had with thee before the world was.
[6]I haue declared thy name vnto ye men, which thou gauest me out of ye world. Thyne they were, and thou gauest the me, and they haue kepte thy worde [6]I have made known thy name unto the sons of man; those whom thou gavest me from the world: thine they were, and to me didst thou give them; and they have kept thy word.
[7]Nowe they haue knowen yt al thinges whatsoeuer yu hast geuen me are of thee [7]Now have they known that whatsoever thou hast given me is from thee.
[8]For I haue geuen vnto them ye wordes which thou gauest me, and they haue receaued them, and haue knowe surely that I came out from thee, & they haue beleued, that thou dyddest sende me [8]And the words that thou gavest me I have given them, and they have received, and have known assuredly that from thee I came forth, and have believed that thou didst send me.
[9]I pray for them: I pray not for the worlde, but for them which thou hast geuen me, for they are thyne [9]And for them I pray; not for the world I pray, but for them whom thou hast given me, because they are thine.
[10]And all myne are thyne, and thyne are myne, and I am glorified in them [10]And every thing of mine is thine, and thine is mine, and I am glorified in them.
[11]And nowe am I not in the worlde, and they are in the worlde, and I come to thee. Holy father, kepe through thine owne name, the which thou hast geuen me, that they may also be one, as we are [11]Henceforth I am not in the world; but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them through thy name, that [name] which thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we are.
[12]Whyle I was with them in ye worlde, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gauest me, haue I kept, and none of them is lost, but that lost chylde, that the scripture myght be fulfylled [12]While I was with them in the world, I kept them through thy name: those whom thou gavest me I have kept, and a man of them is not lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
[13]Nowe come I to thee, and these wordes speake I in the worlde, that they myght haue my ioy fulfylled in them seues [13]BUT now I come to thee, and these [things] I speak in the world, that they may have my joy completed in themselves.
[14]I haue geuen them thy worde, and the worlde hath hated them, because they are not of the worlde, euen as I also am not of the worlde [14]I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
[15]I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from euyll [15]Not that thou wouldest take them out of the world do I pray, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil;
[16]They are not of the worlde, as I also am not of the worlde [16]For they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[17]Sanctifie them through thy trueth. Thy worde is the trueth [17]Father, sanctify them through thy truth; for thy word is truth.
[18]As thou diddest sende me into ye world, eue so haue I also sent the into ye world [18]As me thou hast sent into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
[19]And for their sakes sanctifie I my selfe, that they also myght be sanctified through the trueth [19]And for their sakes I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated for the truth.
[20][Neuerthelesse,] I pray not for them alone: but for the also, which shall beleue on me through their preachyng [20]Nor for these do I pray only, but also for those who shall believe in me through their word;
[21]That they all may be one, as thou father art in me, and I in thee, and that they also may be one in vs: that ye world may beleue, that thou hast sent me [21]That they all may be one, as thou, my Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also in us one may be; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
[22]And the glorie which thou gauest me, I haue geuen them, that they may be one, as we also are one [22]And the glory which thou hast given me have I given unto them, that they may be one as we are one;
[23]I in them, and thou in me: that they may be made perfecte in one, and that the worlde may knowe that thou hast sent me, and hast loued them, as thou hast loued me [23]I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou hast loved them, as me also thou hast loved.
[24]Father, I wyll that they which thou hast geuen me, be with me where I am, that they may see my glorie which thou hast geuen me. For thou louedst me, before the foundation of the world [24]Father, those whom thou hast given I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see that glory of mine, which thou hast given to me; for thou lovedst me before the foundations of the world.
[25]O ryghteous father, the worlde [also] hath not knowen thee: But I haue knowen thee, and these haue knowen that thou hast sent me [25]My righteous Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
[26]And I haue declared vnto them thy name, and wyll declare it, that the loue wherewith thou hast loued me, may be in them, and I in them [26]And I have made known unto them thy name, and I make it known that the love itself, wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I may be in them.
