[1]And a long season after that the Lord had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, and Joshua was old, and stricken in age, |

[2]Then Joshua called all Israel, and their elders, and their heads, and their judges, and their officers, and said unto them, I am old, and stricken in age. |

[3]Also ye have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto all these nations before you, how the Lord your God himself hath fought for you. |
| [4]ὁράωVB-AAD2P ὅτιC ἐπιῥίπτωVAI-AAI1S σύRP-DP ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN ὁRA-APN καταλείπωVP-XMPAPN σύRP-DP οὗτοςRD-APN ἐνP ὁRA-DPM κλῆροςN2-DPM εἰςP ὁRA-APF φυλήN1-APF σύRP-GP ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM *ἰορδάνηςN1M-GSM πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN ὅςRR-APN ἐκὀλεθρεύωVAI-AAI1S καίC ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF ὁRA-GSF μέγαςA1-GSF ὁρίζωVF2-FAI3S ἐπίP δυσμήN1-APF ἥλιοςN2-GSM |
[4]Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance according to your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have destroyed, even unto the great sea westward. |

[5]And the Lord your God shall expel them before you, and cast them out of your sight, and ye shall possess their land, as the Lord your God hath said unto you. |
| [6]καταἰσχύωVA-AAD2P οὖνX σφόδραD φυλάσσωV1-PAN καίC ποιέωV2-PAN πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN γράφωVP-XMPAPN ἐνP ὁRA-DSN βιβλίονN2N-DSN ὁRA-GSM νόμοςN2-GSM *μωυσῆςN1M-GSM ἵναC μήD ἐκκλίνωV1-PAS2P εἰςP δεξιόςA1A-ASF ἤC εὐώνυμοςA1B-APN |
[6]Be ye therefore of a valiant courage, to observe and do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not there from to the right hand nor to the left, |
| [7]ὅπωςC μήD εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAS2P εἰςP ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN ὁRA-APN καταλείπωVP-XMPAPN οὗτοςRD-APN καίC ὁRA-NPN ὄνομαN3M-NPN ὁRA-GPM θεόςN2-GPM αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐD ὀνομάζωVS-FPI3S ἐνP σύRP-DP οὐδέC μήD προςκυνέωVA-AAS2P αὐτόςRD-DPM οὐδέC μήD λατρεύωVA-AAS2P αὐτόςRD-DPM |
[7]Neither company with these nations: that is, with them which are left with you, neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them nor bow unto them: |
| [8]ἀλλάC κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GP προςκολλάωVC-FPI2P καθάπερD ποιέωVAI-AAI2P ἕωςP ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF |
[8]But stick fast unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day. |
| [9]καίC ἐκὀλεθρεύωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM κύριοςN2-NSM ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN σύRP-GP ἔθνοςN3E-APN μέγαςA1-APN καίC ἰσχυρόςA1A-APN καίC σύRP-DP οὐδείςA3-NSM ἀντιἵστημιVHI-AAI3S κατενώπιονP σύRP-GP ἕωςP ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF |
[9]For the Lord hath cast out before you great nations and mighty, and no man hath stand before your face hitherto. |

[10]One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he fighteth for you, as he hath promised you. |

[11]Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God. |
| [12]ἐάνC γάρX ἀποστρέφωVD-APS2P καίC προςτίθημιVE-AMS2P ὁRA-DPN ὑπολείπωVV-APPDPN ἔθνοςN3E-DPN οὗτοςRD-DPN ὁRA-DPN μετάP σύRP-GP καίC ἐπιγαμίαN1A-APF ποιέωVA-AAS2P πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM καίC συν καταμίγνυμιVA-AAS2P αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC αὐτόςRD-NPM σύRP-DP |
[12]Else, if ye go back, and cleave unto the rest of these nations: that is, of them that remain with you, and shall make marriages with them, and go unto them, and they to you, |
| [13]γιγνώσκωV1-PAI2P ὅτιC οὐD μήD προςτίθημιVE-AAS3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSN ἐκὀλεθρεύωVA-AAN ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN οὗτοςRD-APN ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN σύRP-GP καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P σύRP-DP εἰςP παγίςN3D-APF καίC εἰςP σκάνδαλονN2N-APN καίC εἰςP ἧλοςN2-APM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πτέρναN1-DPF σύRP-GP καίC εἰςP βολίςN3D-APF ἐνP ὁRA-DPM ὀφθαλμόςN2-DPM σύRP-GP ἕωςC ἄνX ἀποὀλλύωVA-APS2P ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὁRA-GSF ἀγαθόςA1-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF ὅςRR-ASF δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S σύRP-DP κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GP |
[13]Know ye for certain, that the Lord your God will cast out no more of these nations from before you: but they shall be a snare and destruction unto you, and a whip on your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish out of this good land, which the Lord your God hath given you. |
| [14]ἐγώRP-NS δέX ἀποτρέχωV1-PAI1S ὁRA-ASF ὁδόςN2-ASF καθάD καίC πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P ὁRA-DSF καρδίαN1A-DSF σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-DSF ψυχήN1-DSF σύRP-GP διότιC οὐD διαπίπτωVAI-AAI3S εἷςA3-NSM λόγοςN2-NSM ἀπόP πᾶςA3-GPM ὁRA-GPM λόγοςN2-GPM ὅςRR-GPM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GP πρόςP πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ἀναἥκωV1-PAPAPN σύRP-DP οὐD διαφωνέωVAI-AAI3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[14]And behold, this day do I enter into the way of all the world, and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that nothing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God promised you, but all are come to pass unto you: nothing hath failed thereof. |
| [15]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ἥκωV1-PAI3S ἐπίP σύRP-AP πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN ὁRA-APN καλόςA1-APN ὅςRR-APN λαλέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP σύRP-AP οὕτωςD ἐπιἄγωVF-FAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐπίP σύRP-AP πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN ὁRA-APN πονηρόςA1A-APN ἕωςC ἄνX ἐκὀλεθρεύωVA-AAS3S σύRP-AP ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὁRA-GSF ἀγαθόςA1-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF ὅςRR-GSF δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM σύRP-DP |
[15]Therefore as all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you, so shall the Lord bring upon you every evil thing, until he have destroyed you out of this good land, which the Lord your God hath given you. |
| [16]ἐνP ὁRA-DSN παραβαίνωVZ-AAN σύRP-AP ὁRA-ASF διαθήκηN1-ASF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GP ὅςRR-ASF ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S σύRP-DP καίC πορεύομαιVC-APPNPM λατρεύωVA-AAS2P θεόςN2-DPM ἕτεροςA1A-DPM καίC προςκυνέωVA-AAS2P αὐτόςRD-DPM |
[16]When ye shall transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and shall go and serve other gods, and bow yourselves to them, then shall the wrath of the Lord wax hot against you, and ye shall perish quickly out of the good land which he hath given you. |
