| [1]And the LORDH3068 calledH7121[H8799] unto MosesH4872, and spakeH1696[H8762] unto him out of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[1]Now the Lord called Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, |
| [2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559[H8804] unto them, If any manH120 of you bringH7126[H8686] an offeringH7133 unto the LORDH3068, ye shall bringH7126[H8686] your offeringH7133 of the cattleH929, even of the herdH1241, and of the flockH6629. |
[2]Speak unto the children of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, If any of you offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, ye shall offer your sacrifice of cattle, as of beeves and of the sheep. |
| [3]If his offeringH7133 be a burnt sacrificeH5930 of the herdH1241, let him offerH7126[H8686] a maleH2145 without blemishH8549: he shall offerH7126[H8686] it of his own voluntary willH7522 at the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. |
[3]If his sacrifice be a burnt offering of the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish, presenting him of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord. |
| [4]And he shall putH5564[H8804] his handH3027 upon the headH7218 of the burnt offeringH5930; and it shall be acceptedH7521[H8738] for him to make atonementH3722 for himH8763. |
[4]And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted to the Lord, to be his atonement. |
| [5]And he shall killH7819[H8804] the bullockH1121[H1241] beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: and the priestsH3548, Aaron'sH175 sonsH1121, shall bringH7126[H8689] the bloodH1818, and sprinkleH2236[H8804] the bloodH1818 round aboutH5439 upon the altarH4196 that is by the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150. |
[5]And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord, and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall offer the blood, and shall sprinkle it round about upon the altar, that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| [6]And he shall flayH6584[H8689] the burnt offeringH5930, and cutH5408[H8765] it into his piecesH5409. |
[6]Then shall he flay the burnt offering, and cut it in pieces. |
| [7]And the sonsH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548 shall putH5414[H8804] fireH784 upon the altarH4196, and lay the woodH6086 in orderH6186[H8804] upon the fireH784: |
[7]So the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire. |
| [8]And the priestsH3548, Aaron'sH175 sonsH1121, shall layH6186 the partsH5409, the headH7218, and the fatH6309, in orderH6186[H8804] upon the woodH6086 that is on the fireH784 which is upon the altarH4196: |
[8]Then the priests Aaron's sons shall lay the parts in order, the head and the caul upon the wood that is in the fire which is upon the altar. |
| [9]But his inwardsH7130 and his legsH3767 shall he washH7364[H8799] in waterH4325: and the priestH3548 shall burnH6999[H8689] all on the altarH4196, to be a burnt sacrificeH5930, an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. |
[9]But the inwards thereof and the legs thereof he shall wash in water, and the priest shall burn all on the altar: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire, for a sweet savor unto the Lord. |
| [10]And if his offeringH7133 be of the flocksH6629, namely, of the sheepH3775, or of the goatsH5795, for a burnt sacrificeH5930; he shall bringH7126[H8686] it a maleH2145 without blemishH8549. |
[10]And if his sacrifice for the burnt offering be of the flocks ( as of the sheep, or of the goats) he shall offer a male without blemish, |
| [11]And he shall killH7819[H8804] it on the sideH3409 of the altarH4196 northwardH6828 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: and the priestsH3548, Aaron'sH175 sonsH1121, shall sprinkleH2236[H8804] his bloodH1818 round aboutH5439 upon the altarH4196. |
[11]And he shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord, and the priests Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar. |
| [12]And he shall cutH5408[H8765] it into his piecesH5409, with his headH7218 and his fatH6309: and the priestH3548 shall lay them in orderH6186[H8804] on the woodH6086 that is on the fireH784 which is upon the altarH4196: |
[12]And he shall cut it in pieces , separating his head and his caul, and the priest shall lay them in order upon the wood that lieth in the fire which is on the altar: |
| [13]But he shall washH7364[H8799] the inwardsH7130 and the legsH3767 with waterH4325: and the priestH3548 shall bringH7126[H8689] it all, and burnH6999[H8689] it upon the altarH4196: it is a burnt sacrificeH5930, an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. |
[13]But he shall wash the inwards, and the legs with water, and the priest shall offer the whole and burn it upon the altar: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweet savor unto the Lord. |
| [14]And if the burnt sacrificeH5930 for his offeringH7133 to the LORDH3068 be of fowlsH5775, then he shall bringH7126[H8689] his offeringH7133 of turtledovesH8449, or of youngH1121 pigeonsH3123. |
[14]And if his sacrifice be a burnt offering to the Lord of the fowls, then he shall offer his sacrifice of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons. |
| [15]And the priestH3548 shall bringH7126[H8689] it unto the altarH4196, and wring offH4454[H8804] his headH7218, and burnH6999[H8689] it on the altarH4196; and the bloodH1818 thereof shall be wrung outH4680[H8738] at the sideH7023 of the altarH4196: |
[15]And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring the neck of it asunder, and burn it on the altar: and the blood thereof shall be shed upon the side of the altar. |
| [16]And he shall pluck awayH5493[H8689] his cropH4760 with his feathersH5133, and castH7993[H8689] it besideH681 the altarH4196 on the east partH6924, by the placeH4725 of the ashesH1880: |
[16]And he shall pluck out his maw with his feathers, and cast them beside the altar on the east part in the place of the ashes. |
| [17]And he shall cleaveH8156[H8765] it with the wingsH3671 thereof, but shall not divide it asunderH914[H8686]: and the priestH3548 shall burnH6999[H8689] it upon the altarH4196, upon the woodH6086 that is upon the fireH784: it is a burnt sacrificeH5930, an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. |
[17]And he shall cleave it with his wings, but not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar upon the wood that is in the fire: for it is a burnt offering, an oblation made by fire for a sweet savor unto the Lord. |
