| [1]καὶ λαβόντες οἱ δύο υἱοὶ ααρων ναδαβ καὶ αβιουδ ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ αὐτὸ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ προσήνεγκαν ἔναντι κυρίου πῦρ ἀλλότριον ὃ οὐ προσέταξεν κύριος αὐτοῖς |
[1]And Nadab and Abihu, the sonnes of Aaron, toke eyther of the his censar, and put fire therein, and put cense therevpon, and offred straunge fire before the Lorde, whiche he commaunded them not |
| [2]καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτούς καὶ ἀπέθανον ἔναντι κυρίου |
[2]And there went a fire from the Lord, and consumed them, and they dyed before the Lorde |
| [3]καὶ εἶπεν μωυσῆς πρὸς ααρων τοῦτό ἐστιν ὃ εἶπεν κύριος λέγων ἐν τοῖς ἐγγίζουσίν μοι ἁγιασθήσομαι καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ δοξασθήσομαι καὶ κατενύχθη ααρων |
[3]Then Moyses sayde vnto Aaron: This is it that the Lorde spake, saying: I wyll be sanctified in them that come nye me, and before all the people I wylbe glorified. And Aaron helde his peace |
| [4]καὶ ἐκάλεσεν μωυσῆς τὸν μισαδαι καὶ τὸν ελισαφαν υἱοὺς οζιηλ υἱοὺς τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς ααρων καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς προσέλθατε καὶ ἄρατε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν ἐκ προσώπου τῶν ἁγίων ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς |
[4]And Moyses called Misael and Elsaphan the sonnes of Oziel, the vncle of Aaron, & sayd vnto them: Come neare, cary your brethren from before the sanctuarie, out of the hoast |
| [5]καὶ προσῆλθον καὶ ἦραν ἐν τοῖς χιτῶσιν αὐτῶν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν μωυσῆς |
[5]And they went to them, & caryed them in their coates out of the hoast, as Moyses had sayde |
| [6]καὶ εἶπεν μωυσῆς πρὸς ααρων καὶ ελεαζαρ καὶ ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς καταλελειμμένους τὴν κεφαλὴν ὑμῶν οὐκ ἀποκιδαρώσετε καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμῶν οὐ διαρρήξετε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ἔσται θυμός οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁ οἶκος ισραηλ κλαύσονται τὸν ἐμπυρισμόν ὃν ἐνεπυρίσθησαν ὑπὸ κυρίου |
[6]And Moyses sayde vnto Aaron, and vnto Eleazar & Ithamar his sonnes: Uncouer not your heades, neither rent your clothes, lest ye dye, and lest wrath come vpon all the people: But let your brethren the whole house of Israel, bewayle the burnyng whiche the Lorde hath kyndled |
| [7]καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου οὐκ ἐξελεύσεσθε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε τὸ γὰρ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως τὸ παρὰ κυρίου ἐφ ὑμῖν καὶ ἐποίησαν κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα μωυσῆ |
[7]And go not ye out from the doore of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye dye: for the annonynting oyle of God is vpon you. And they dyd as Moyses sayde |
| [8]καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος τῷ ααρων λέγων |
[8]And the Lorde spake vnto Aaron, saying |
| [9]οἶνον καὶ σικερα οὐ πίεσθε σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ ἡνίκα ἂν εἰσπορεύησθε εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἢ προσπορευομένων ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνητε νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν |
[9]Thou shalt not drinke wine nor strong drinke, thou nor thy sonnes that are with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye dye: Let it be a lawe for euer throughout your generations |
| [10]διαστεῖλαι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τῶν βεβήλων καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀκαθάρτων καὶ τῶν καθαρῶν |
[10]And that ye may put difference betweene holy and vnholy, betweene vncleane and cleane |
| [11]καὶ συμβιβάσεις τοὺς υἱοὺς ισραηλ πάντα τὰ νόμιμα ἃ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτοὺς διὰ χειρὸς μωυσῆ |
[11]And that ye may teache the chyldren of Israel all the statutes whiche the Lorde hath spoken vnto them by the handes of Moyses |
| [12]καὶ εἶπεν μωυσῆς πρὸς ααρων καὶ πρὸς ελεαζαρ καὶ ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς ααρων τοὺς καταλειφθέντας λάβετε τὴν θυσίαν τὴν καταλειφθεῖσαν ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου καὶ φάγεσθε ἄζυμα παρὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν |
[12]And Moyses sayde vnto Aaron, and vnto Eleazar, and Ithamar his sonnes that were left: Take the meate offering that remayneth of the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, and eate it without leauen beside the aulter: for it is most holy |
| [13]καὶ φάγεσθε αὐτὴν ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ νόμιμον γάρ σοί ἐστιν καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου τοῦτο ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου οὕτω γὰρ ἐντέταλταί μοι |
[13]Ye shall eate it in the holy place, because it is thy duetie, & thy sonnes duetie, of the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire: for so I am commaunded |
| [14]καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος φάγεσθε ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκός σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον γὰρ σοὶ καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου ἐδόθη ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιῶν τοῦ σωτηρίου τῶν υἱῶν ισραηλ |
[14]And the waue brest and heaue shoulder shall ye eate in a cleane place, thou and thy sonnes and thy daughters with thee: For they be thy duetie, and thy sonnes duetie, geuen out of the peace offeringes of the children of Israel |
| [15]τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος ἐπὶ τῶν καρπωμάτων τῶν στεάτων προσοίσουσιν ἀφόρισμα ἀφορίσαι ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἔσται σοὶ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ μωυσῇ |
[15]The heaue shoulder & the waue brest shall they bryng in with the sacrifices made by fire of the fat, to waue it for a waue offering before the Lorde: and it shalbe thyne and thy sonnes with thee by a lawe for euer, as the Lorde hath commaunded |
| [16]καὶ τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ζητῶν ἐξεζήτησεν μωυσῆς καὶ ὅδε ἐνεπεπύριστο καὶ ἐθυμώθη μωυσῆς ἐπὶ ελεαζαρ καὶ ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς ααρων τοὺς καταλελειμμένους λέγων |
[16]And Moyses sought the goate that was offred for sinne, & see, it was burnt. And he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar the sonnes of Aaron whiche were left aliue, saying |
| [17]διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφάγετε τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὅτι γὰρ ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν τοῦτο ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν φαγεῖν ἵνα ἀφέλητε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐξιλάσησθε περὶ αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου |
[17]Wherefore haue ye not eaten the sinne offering in the holy place? seing it is most holy, & God hath geuen it yon, to beare the sinne of the congregation, to make agreement for them before the Lorde |
| [18]οὐ γὰρ εἰσήχθη τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἅγιον κατὰ πρόσωπον ἔσω φάγεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ὃν τρόπον μοι συνέταξεν κύριος |
[18]Beholde, ye blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: Ye shoulde haue eaten it in the holy place, as I commaunded |
| [19]καὶ ἐλάλησεν ααρων πρὸς μωυσῆν λέγων εἰ σήμερον προσαγειόχασιν τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ συμβέβηκέν μοι ταῦτα καὶ φάγομαι τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σήμερον μὴ ἀρεστὸν ἔσται κυρίῳ |
[19]And Aaron sayde vnto Moyses: Beholde, this day haue they offered their sinne offering, and their burnt offering before the Lorde: and suche thinges are come vnto me, if I had eaten the sinne offering to day, shoulde it haue ben accepted in the sight of the Lorde |
| [20]καὶ ἤκουσεν μωυσῆς καὶ ἤρεσεν αὐτῷ |
[20]And when Moyses hearde that, he was content |
