[1]Moreover the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| [2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559[H8800], If a soulH5315 shall sinH2398[H8799] through ignoranceH7684 against any of the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068 concerning things which ought not to be doneH6213[H8735], and shall doH6213[H8804] against anyH259 of themH2007: |
[2]Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any shall sin through ignorance, in any of the commandments of the Lord, (which ought not to be done) but shall do contrary to any of them, |
| [3]If the priestH3548 that is anointedH4899 do sinH2398[H8799] according to the sinH819 of the peopleH5971; then let him bringH7126[H8689] for his sinH2403, which he hath sinnedH2398[H8804], a youngH1241[H1121] bullockH6499 without blemishH8549 unto the LORDH3068 for a sin offeringH2403. |
[3]If the priest that is anointed do sin (according to the sin of the people) then shall he offer, for his sin which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering, |
| [4]And he shall bringH935[H8689] the bullockH6499 unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068; and shall layH5564[H8804] his handH3027 upon the bullock'sH6499 headH7218, and killH7819[H8804] the bullockH6499 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. |
[4]And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord, and shall put his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the Lord. |
| [5]And the priestH3548 that is anointedH4899 shall takeH3947[H8804] of the bullock'sH6499 bloodH1818, and bringH935[H8689] it to the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150: |
[5]And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it into the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| [6]And the priestH3548 shall dipH2881[H8804] his fingerH676 in the bloodH1818, and sprinkleH5137[H8689] of the bloodH1818 sevenH7651 timesH6471 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, beforeH6440 the vailH6532 of the sanctuaryH6944. |
[6]Then the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the veil of the sanctuary. |
| [7]And the priestH3548 shall putH5414[H8804] some of the bloodH1818 upon the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of sweetH5561 incenseH7004 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, which is in the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150; and shall pourH8210[H8799] all the bloodH1818 of the bullockH6499 at the bottomH3247 of the altarH4196 of the burnt offeringH5930, which is at the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150. |
[7]The priest also shall put some of the blood before the Lord, upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation, then shall he pour all the rest of the blood of the bullock at the foot of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
| [8]And he shall take offH7311[H8686] from it all the fatH2459 of the bullockH6499 for the sin offeringH2403; the fatH2459 that coverethH3680[H8764] the inwardsH7130, and all the fatH2459 that is upon the inwardsH7130, |
[8]And he shall take away all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering: to wit, the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is about the inwards. |
| [9]And the twoH8147 kidneysH3629, and the fatH2459 that is upon them, which is by the flanksH3689, and the caulH3508 above the liverH3516, with the kidneysH3629, H5493it shall he take awayH8686 |
[9]He shall take away also the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and upon the flanks, and the caul upon the liver with the kidneys, |
| [10]As it was taken offH7311[H8714] from the bullockH7794 of the sacrificeH2077 of peace offeringsH8002: and the priestH3548 shall burnH6999[H8689] them upon the altarH4196 of the burnt offeringH5930. |
[10]As it was taken away from the bullock of the peace offerings, and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of burnt offering. |
| [11]And the skinH5785 of the bullockH6499, and all his fleshH1320, with his headH7218, and with his legsH3767, and his inwardsH7130, and his dungH6569, |
[11]But the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and his legs, and his inwards, and his dung shall he bear out. |
| [12]Even the whole bullockH6499 shall he carry forthH3318[H8689] withoutH2351 the campH4264 unto a cleanH2889 placeH4725, where the ashesH1880 are poured outH8211, and burnH8313[H8804] him on the woodH6086 with fireH784: whereH413 the ashesH1880 are poured outH8211 shall he be burntH8313.[H8735] |
[12]So he shall carry the whole bullock out of the host unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured, and shall burn him on the wood in the fire: where the ashes are cast out, shall he be burned. |
| [13]And if the whole congregationH5712 of IsraelH3478 sin through ignoranceH7686[H8799], and the thingH1697 be hidH5956[H8738] from the eyesH5869 of the assemblyH6951, and they have doneH6213[H8804] somewhat against anyH259 of the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068 concerning things which should not be doneH6213[H8735], H816and are guiltyH8804 |
[13]And if the whole congregation of Israel shall sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the multitude, and have done against any of the commandments of the Lord which should not be done, and have offended: |
| [14]When the sinH2403, which they have sinnedH2398[H8804] against it, is knownH3045[H8738], then the congregationH6951 shall offerH7126[H8689] a youngH1241[H1121] bullockH6499 for the sinH2403, and bringH935[H8689] him beforeH6440 the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150. |
[14]When the sin which they have committed shall be known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| [15]And the eldersH2205 of the congregationH5712 shall layH5564[H8804] their handsH3027 upon the headH7218 of the bullockH6499 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: and the bullockH6499 shall be killedH7819[H8804] beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. |
[15]And the elders of the congregation shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord, and he shall kill the bullock before the Lord. |
| [16]And the priestH3548 that is anointedH4899 shall bringH935[H8689] of the bullock'sH6499 bloodH1818 to the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150: |
[16]Then the priest that is anointed, shall bring of the bullock's blood into the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| [17]And the priestH3548 shall dipH2881[H8804] his fingerH676 in some of the bloodH1818, and sprinkleH5137[H8689] it sevenH7651 timesH6471 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, even beforeH6440 the vailH6532. |
[17]And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the veil. |
| [18]And he shall putH5414[H8799] some of the bloodH1818 upon the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 which is beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, that is in the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150, and shall pour outH8210[H8799] all the bloodH1818 at the bottomH3247 of the altarH4196 of the burnt offeringH5930, which is at the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150. |
[18]Also he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar, which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation: then shall he pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| [19]And he shall takeH7311[H8686] all his fatH2459 from him, and burnH6999[H8689] it upon the altarH4196. |
[19]And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar. |
| [20]And he shall doH6213[H8804] with the bullockH6499 as he didH6213[H8804] with the bullockH6499 for a sin offeringH2403, so shall he doH6213[H8799] with this: and the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for them, and it shall be forgivenH5545 themH8738. |
[20]And the priest shall do with this bullock, as he did with the bullock for his sin: so shall he do with this: so the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. |
| [21]And he shall carry forthH3318[H8689] the bullockH6499 withoutH2351 the campH4264, and burnH8313[H8804] him as he burnedH8313[H8804] the firstH7223 bullockH6499: it is a sin offeringH2403 for the congregationH6951. |
[21]For he shall carry the bullock without the host, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: for it is an offering for the sin of the congregation. |
| [22]When a rulerH5387 hath sinnedH2398[H8799], and doneH6213[H8804] somewhat through ignoranceH7684 against anyH259 of the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068 his GodH430 concerning things which should not be doneH6213[H8735], H816and is guiltyH8804 |
[22]When a ruler shall sin, and do through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God, which should not be done, and shall offend, |
| [23]Or if his sinH2403, wherein he hath sinnedH2398[H8804], come to his knowledgeH3045[H8717]; he shall bringH935[H8689] his offeringH7133, a kidH8163 of the goatsH5795, a maleH2145 without blemishH8549: |
[23]If one show unto him his sin, which he hath committed, then shall he bring for his offering an he goat without blemish, |
| [24]And he shall layH5564[H8804] his handH3027 upon the headH7218 of the goatH8163, and killH7819[H8804] it in the placeH4725 where they killH7819[H8799] the burnt offeringH5930 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: it is a sin offeringH2403. |
[24]And shall lay his hand upon the head of the he goat, and kill it in the place where he should kill the burnt offering before the Lord: for it is a sin offering. |
| [25]And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947[H8804] of the bloodH1818 of the sin offeringH2403 with his fingerH676, and putH5414[H8804] it upon the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, and shall pour outH8210[H8799] his bloodH1818 at the bottomH3247 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930. |
[25]Then the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and shall pour the rest of his blood at the foot of the burnt offering altar, |
| [26]And he shall burnH6999[H8686] all his fatH2459 upon the altarH4196, as the fatH2459 of the sacrificeH2077 of peace offeringsH8002: and the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for him as concerning his sinH2403, and it shall be forgivenH5545 himH8738. |
[26]And shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the peace offering: so the priest shall make an atonement for him, concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him. |
| [27]And if anyH259 oneH5315 of the commonH776 peopleH5971 sinH2398[H8799] through ignoranceH7684, while he doethH6213[H8800] somewhat against anyH259 of the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068 concerning things which ought not to be doneH6213[H8735], H816and be guiltyH8804 |
[27]Likewise if any of the people of the land shall sin through ignorance in doing against any of the commandments of the Lord, which should not be done, and shall offend, |
| [28]Or if his sinH2403, which he hath sinnedH2398[H8804], come to his knowledgeH3045[H8717]: then he shall bringH935[H8689] his offeringH7133, a kidH8166 of the goatsH5795, a femaleH5347 without blemishH8549, for his sinH2403 which he hath sinnedH2398.[H8804] |
[28]If one show him his sin which he hath committed, then he shall bring for his offering, a she goat without blemish for his sin which he hath committed, |
| [29]And he shall layH5564[H8804] his handH3027 upon the headH7218 of the sin offeringH2403, and slayH7819[H8804] the sin offeringH2403 in the placeH4725 of the burnt offeringH5930. |
[29]And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of burnt offering. |
| [30]And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947[H8804] of the bloodH1818 thereof with his fingerH676, and putH5414[H8804] it upon the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, and shall pour outH8210[H8799] all the bloodH1818 thereof at the bottomH3247 of the altarH4196. |
[30]Then the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and pour all the rest of the blood thereof at the foot of the altar, |
| [31]And he shall take awayH5493[H8686] all the fatH2459 thereof, as the fatH2459 is taken awayH5493[H8717] from off the sacrificeH2077 of peace offeringsH8002; and the priestH3548 shall burnH6999[H8689] it upon the altarH4196 for a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068; and the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for him, and it shall be forgivenH5545 himH8738. |
[31]And shall take away all his fat, as the fat of the peace offerings is taken away, and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor unto the Lord, and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. |
| [32]And if he bringH935[H8686] a lambH3532 for a sinH2403 offeringH7133, he shall bringH935[H8686] it a femaleH5347 without blemishH8549. |
[32]And if he bring a lamb for his sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish, |
| [33]And he shall layH5564[H8804] his handH3027 upon the headH7218 of the sin offeringH2403, and slayH7819[H8804] it for a sin offeringH2403 in the placeH4725 where they killH7819[H8799] the burnt offeringH5930. |
[33]And shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and he shall slay it for a sin offering in the place where he should kill the burnt offering. |
| [34]And the priestH3548 shall takeH3947[H8804] of the bloodH1818 of the sin offeringH2403 with his fingerH676, and putH5414[H8804] it upon the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 of burnt offeringH5930, and shall pour outH8210[H8799] all the bloodH1818 thereof at the bottomH3247 of the altarH4196: |
[34]Then the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the burnt offering altar, and shall pour all the rest of the blood thereof at the foot of the altar. |
| [35]And he shall take awayH5493[H8686] all the fatH2459 thereof, as the fatH2459 of the lambH3775 is taken awayH5493[H8714] from the sacrificeH2077 of the peace offeringsH8002; and the priestH3548 shall burnH6999[H8689] them upon the altarH4196, according to the offerings made by fireH801 unto the LORDH3068: and the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for his sinH2403 that he hath committedH2398[H8804], and it shall be forgivenH5545 himH8738. |
[35]And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb of the peace offerings is taken away: then the priest shall burn it upon the altar with the oblations of the Lord made by fire, and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him. |
