| [1]והוא מנ בתר הלינ מתכרכ הוא ישׁוע במדינתא ובקוריא ומכרז הוא ומסבר מלכותא דאלהא ותרעסרתה עמה |
[1]And it was from after these things traveling a circuit was Ieshu in the cities and in the villages and preaching He was and announcing the Kingdom of Alaha and His twelve were with Him |
| [2]ונשׁא הלינ דאתאסי מנ כורהנא ומנ רוחא בישׁתא מרימ דמתקריא מגדליתא הי דשׁבעא שׁאדינ נפקו מנה |
[2]And women these who had been healed from sicknesses and from spirits evil Maryam who is called Magdalitha she who seven demons had gone out from her |
| [3]ויוחנ אנתת כוזא רביתה דהרודס ושׁושׁנ ואחרניתא סגיאתא אילינ דמשׁמשׁנ הוי להונ מנ קניניהינ |
[3]And Yokhana the wife of Kuza the steward of Herodus and Shushan and others many those who ministering were to them from their possessions |
| [4]וכד כנשׁא סגיאא כנשׁ הוא ומנ כל מדיננ אתינ הוו לותה אמר במתלא |
[4]And when a crowd great gathered had and from all cities coming they were to Him He said in a parable |
| [5]נפק זרועא למזרע זרעה וכד זרע אית דנפל על יד אורחא ואתתדישׁ ואכלתה פרחתא |
[5]Went out a sower to sow his seed and as he sowed there was that which fell on the side of the road and it was trampled and ate it a bird |
| [6]ואחרנא נפל על שׁועא וברשׁעתה יעא ודלית הוא לה תלילותא יבשׁ |
[6]And other seed fell on the rock and son of an hour it sprang up and because there not was for it moisture it dried up |
| [7]ואחרנא נפל בית כובא ויעו עמה כובא וחנקוהי |
[7]And other seed fell among thorns and sprang up with it the thorns and they choked it |
| [8]ואחרנא נפל בארעא טבתא ושׁפירתא ויעא ועבד פארא חד במאא הלינ כד אמר קעא הוא דמנ דאית לה אדנא דנשׁמע נשׁמע |
[8]And other seed fell in the ground good and excellent and it sprang up and produced fruit one in a hundred these things when He had said cried He whoever has on him an ear that it will hear let him hear |
| [9]ושׁאלוהי תלמידוהי דמנו מתלא הנא |
[9]And asked Him His disciples what is? parable this |
| [10]הו דינ אמר להונ לכונ הו גיר יהיב למדע ארזא דמלכותה דאלהא להנונ דינ דשׁרכא בפלאתא מתאמר דכד חזינ לא נחזונ וכד שׁמעינ לא נסתכלונ |
[10]He but said to them to you it it has been given to know the secret of the Kingdom of Alaha to those but the rest in an allegory it is spoken that while seeing not they will perceive and when hearing not they will understand |
| [11]הנו דינ מתלא זרעא איתוהי מלתא דאלהא |
[11]This is but the parable the seed is the word of Alaha |
| [12]הנונ דינ דעל יד אורחא איתיהונ הנונ דשׁמעינ מלתא ואתא בעלדבבא שׁקל מלתא מנ לבהונ דלא נהימנונ ונחונ |
[12]They but upon the side of the road are they who hear the word and comes the enemy he takes the word from their heart lest they should believe and they should live |
| [13]הלינ דינ דעל שׁועא הלינ אנונ דמא דשׁמעו בחדותא מקבלינ לה למלתא ועקרא לית להונ אלא דזבנא הי הימנותהונ ובזבנ נסיונא מתכשׁלינ |
[13]These but that upon the rock these are they who when they have heard with joy receive it the word and root there is no to them but temporary is their faith and in time of temptation they are subverted |
| [14]הו דינ דנפל בית כובא הלינ אנונ אילינ דשׁמעינ מלתא ובצפתא ובעותרא וברגיגתה דעלמא מתחנקינ ופארא לא יהבינ |
[14]That but which fell among thorns these are those who hear the word and by cares and by riches and the desires of the world they are choked and fruit not they yield |
| [15]הו דינ דבארעא טבתא הלינ אנונ אילינ דבלבא שׁפיא וטבא שׁמעינ מלתא ואחדינ ויהבינ פארא במסיברנותא |
[15]That but which is in the ground good these are those who with a heart pure and good hear the word and they hold onto it and they yield fruit with patience |
| [16]לא אנשׁ מנהר שׁרגא ומחפא לה במאנא או סאמ לה תחית ערסא אלא סאמ לה לעל מנ מנרתא דכל דעאל נחזא נוהרה |
[16]No man lights a lamp and covers it with a vessel or sets it under a bed but sets it over from a lamp stand that everyone who enters may see its light |
| [17]לית גיר מדמ דכסא דלא נתגלא ולא דמטשׁי דלא נתידע ונאתא לגליא |
[17]There is not for anything that is covered that not will be revealed neither that is hidden that not will be known and it will come into the open |
| [18]חזו איכנא שׁמעתונ מנ דאית לה גיר נתיהב לה ומנ דלית לה אפ הו דסבר דאית לה נשׁתקל מנה |
[18]Take heed how you hear whoever has it for it will be given to him and whoever has not it also that which he thinks he has it will be taken from him |
| [19]אתו דינ לותה אמה ואחוהי ולא משׁכחינ הוו דנמללונ עמה מטל כנשׁא |
[19]Came but to Him His mother and His brothers and not able they were to speak with Him because of the crowd |
| [20]ואמרו לה אמכ ואחיכ קימינ לבר וצבינ למחזיכ |
[20]And they said to Him Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside and they desire to see You |
| [21]הו דינ ענא ואמר להונ הלינ אנונ אמי ואחי אילינ דשׁמעינ מלתא דאלהא ועבדינ לה |
[21]He but answered and said to them these are My mother and My brothers those who are hearing the word of Alaha and are doing it |
| [22]הוא דינ בחד מנ יומתא סלק ישׁוע יתב בספינתא הו ותלמידוהי ואמר להונ נעבר להו עברא דימתא |
[22]It was but on one of the days went up Ieshu He sat down in the boat He and His disciples and He told them let us cross to that other side of the lake |
| [23]וכד רדינ דמכ לה הו ישׁוע והות עלעלא דרוחא בימתא וקריבא הות ספינתא למטבע |
[23]And as they journeyed sleeping Himself was Ieshu and there was a tempest of wind on the lake and coming close was the ship to sinking |
| [24]וקרבו אעירוהי ואמרינ לה רבנ רבנ אבדינ חננ הו דינ קמ וכאא ברוחא ובמחשׁולא דימא ונחו והוא שׁליא |
[24]And they came they awakened Him and they were saying to Him our Master our Master we are being destroyed He but arose and He rebuked the wind and the waves of the sea and they ceased and there was a calm |
| [25]ואמר להונ איכא הי הימנותכונ הנונ דינ כד דחילינ מתדמרינ הוו ואמרינ חד לחד מנו כי הנא דאפ לרוחא פקד ולמחשׁולא ולימא ומשׁתמעינ לה |
[25]And He said to them where? is your faith they but while being in awe marveling they were and they were saying one to another Who is? indeed This that even the wind He commands and the waves and the sea and they obey Him |
| [26]ורדו ואתו לאתרא דגדריא דאיתוהי בעברא לוקבל גלילא |
[26]And they sailed and they came to the region of the Gadarenes which is on the other side next to Galila |
| [27]וכד נפק לארעא פגע בה גברא חד מנ מדינתא דאית הוא בה דיוא מנ זבנא סגיאא ומאנא לא לבשׁ הוא ובביתא לא עמר הוא אלא בבית קבורא |
[27]And when He unboarded to land met Him a man one from the city who had in him a demon from a time long and clothes not wearing he was and in a house not dwelling he was but among houses of burial |
| [28]כד חזא דינ לישׁוע קעא ונפל קדמוהי ובקלא רמא אמר מא לנ ולכ ישׁוע ברה דאלהא מרימא בעא אנא מנכ לא תשׁנקני |
[28]When he saw but Ieshu he screamed and he fell before Him and in a voice loud he said what? to us and to You Ieshu The Son of Alaha The Most High beg I of You do not punish me |
| [29]פקד הוא לה גיר ישׁוע לרוחא טנפא למפק מנ ברנשׁא סגי הוא לה גיר זבנא הא מנ דשׁבא הוא לה ומתאסר הוא בשׁשׁלתא ובכבלא מתנטר הוא ומפסק הוא אסורוהי ומתדבר הוא מנ שׁאדא לחורבא |
[29]Commanded had him for Ieshu the spirit vile to go out from the man long it was for a time from when possessed it had him and bound he had been in chains and in shackles kept he had been and burst he would his bonds and driven he would be by the demon to the desert |
| [30]שׁאלה דינ ישׁוע מנ שׁמכ אמר לה לגיונ מטל דדיוא סגיאא עלילינ הוו בה |
[30]Asked him but Ieshu what is? your name he said to Him Legion because demons many entered they had him |
| [31]ובעינ הוו מנה דלא נפקוד להונ למאזל לתהומא |
[31]And begging they were from him that not He would command them to enter the abyss |
| [32]אית הוא דינ תמנ בקרא דחזירא סגיאא דרעיא בטורא ובעינ הוו מנה דנפס להונ דבחזירא נעלונ ואפס להונ |
[32]There was but there a herd of swine many grazing on the mountain and begging they were from Him to permit them that into the swine they may enter and He permitted them |
| [33]ונפקו שׁאדא מנ גברא ועלו בחזירא ותרצת בקרא הי כלה לשׁקיפא ונפלו בימתא ואתחנקו |
[33]And went out the demons from the man and they entered the swine and went straight herd that whole to the precipice and they fell into the lake and they drowned |
| [34]כד חזו דינ רעותא מדמ דהוא ערקו ואשׁתעיו במדינתא ובקוריא |
[34]When saw but the herdsmen the thing that occurred they fled and they related it in the city and in the villages |
| [35]ונפקו אנשׁא דנחזונ מדמ דהוא ואתו לות ישׁוע ואשׁכחוהי לגברא הו דנפקו שׁאדוהי כד לבישׁ ומנכפ ויתב לות רגלוהי דישׁוע ודחלו |
[35]And went out men to see the thing that had happened and they came to Ieshu and they found him man that had gone whose demons while clothed and sober and sitting at the feet of Ieshu and they were in awe |
| [36]ואשׁתעיו להונ אילינ דחזו איכנא אתאסי גברא הו דיונא |
[36]And related to them those who saw how was healed man that demoniac |
| [37]ובעינ הוו מנה כלה כנשׁא דגדריא דנאזל לה מנ לותהונ מטל דדחלתא רבתא אחדת אנונ הו דינ ישׁוע סלק לספינתא והפכ מנ לותהונ |
[37]And seeking they were from Him all the crowds of Gadarenes that would go He from among them because fear great had seized them He but Ieshu embarked the ship and returned from among them |
| [38]הו דינ גברא דנפקו מנה שׁאדא בעא הוא מנה דלותה נהוא ושׁריהי ישׁוע ואמר לה |
[38]That but man had gone out from whom the demons beseeching was from Him that join Him he might and dismissed him Ieshu and He said to him |
| [39]הפוכ לביתכ ואשׁתעא מדמ דעבד לכ אלהא ואזל ומכרז הוא בכלה מדינתא מדמ דעבד לה ישׁוע |
[39]Return to your house and relate the thing that has done for you Alaha and he went on and preaching he was in the whole city the thing that had done for him Ieshu |
| [40]כד הפכ דינ ישׁוע קבלה כנשׁא סגיאא כלהונ גיר לה חירינ הוו |
[40]When returned but Ieshu received Him a crowd great all of them for for Him looking they had been |
| [41]וגברא חד דשׁמה יוארשׁ רישׁ כנושׁתא נפל קדמ רגלוהי דישׁוע ובעא הוא מנה דנעול לביתה |
[41]And man one whose name was Yorash head of the synagogue fell before the feet of Ieshu and begged he of Him to enter his house |
| [42]ברתא גיר יחידיתא אית הות לה איכ ברת שׁנינ תרתעסרא וקריבא הות לממת וכד אזל עמה הו ישׁוע כנשׁא סגיאא חבץ הוא לה |
[42]A daughter for only there was to him about daughter of years twelve and about she was to die and when went with him He Ieshu a crowd great pressing was Him |
| [43]אנתתא דינ חדא דתריע הוא דמה שׁנינ תרתעסרא הי דבית אסותא כלה קנינה אפקת ולא אשׁכחת דמנ אנשׁ תתאסא |
[43]Woman but a certain flowed had whose blood years twelve was she who among physicians all her property had spent and not could by anyone be healed |
| [44]אתקרבת מנ בסתרה וקרבת לכנפא דמאנה ומחדא קמת מרדיתא דדמה |
[44]She approached from behind Him and she touched the fringe of His garment and at once stopped the flow of her blood |
| [45]ואמר ישׁוע מנו קרב לי וכד כלהונ כפרינ אמר לה שׁמעונ כאפא ודעמה רבנ כנשׁא אלצינ לכ וחבצינ ואמר אנת מנו קרב לי |
[45]And said Ieshu who? touched Me and when all of them denied said to Him Shimeon Kaypha and those with him our Master the crowds are pressing close to You and they are pushing and say? You who? touched Me |
| [46]הו דינ אמר אנשׁ קרב לי אנא גיר ידעת דחילא נפק מני |
[46]He but said a person has touched Me I for do know that power has gone out from Me |
| [47]הי דינ אנתתא כד חזת דלא טעתה אתת כד רתיתא ונפלת סגדת לה ואמרת לעינ עמא כלה מטל אידא עלתא קרבת ואיכנא מחדא אתאסית |
[47]That but woman when she saw that not she had escaped His notice she came when trembling and she fell and she worshiped Him and she told before the eyes of the people all for what cause she had touched Him and how at once she had been healed |
| [48]הו דינ ישׁוע אמר לה אתלבבי ברתי הימנותכי אחיתכי זלי בשׁלמא |
[48]He but Ieshu said to her take heart My daughter your faith has given you life go in peace |
| [49]ועד הו ממלל אתא אנשׁ מנ דבית רב כנושׁתא ואמר לה מיתת לה ברתכ לא תעמל למלפנא |
[49]And while He was speaking came a man who of the house of the leader of the assembly and he said to him has died she your daughter not trouble The Teacher |
| [50]ישׁוע דינ שׁמע ואמר לאבוה דטליתא לא תדחל בלחוד הימנ וחיא |
[50]Ieshu but heard and He said to the father of the girl not do be afraid only have faith and she will live |
| [51]אתא דינ ישׁוע לביתא ולא שׁבק לאנשׁ דנעול עמה אלא לשׁמעונ וליעקוב וליוחננ ולאבוה דטליתא ולאמה |
[51]Came but Ieshu to the house and not He allowed anyone to enter with Him except Shimeon and Yaqob and Yokhanan and the father of the girl and her mother |
| [52]כלהונ דינ בכינ הוו ומרקדינ עליה ישׁוע דינ אמר לא תבכונ לא גיר מיתת אלא דמכא הי |
[52]All of them but weeping were and wailing over her Ieshu but said stop weeping not for she is dead but sleeping she is |
| [53]וגחכינ הוו עלוהי דידעינ דמיתת לה |
[53]And laughing they were at Him for they knew that had died she |
| [54]הו דינ אפק לכל אנשׁ לבר ואחדה באידה וקרה ואמר טליתא קומי |
[54]He but sent everyone outside and He held her by her hand and He called her and He said little girl arise |
| [55]והפכת רוחה ומחדא קמת ופקד דנתלונ לה למאכל |
[55]And returned her spirit and at once she arose and He commanded them to give her food |
| [56]ותמהו אבהיה הו דינ זהר אנונ דלאנשׁ לא נאמרונ מדמ דהוא |
[56]And were astonished her parents He but warned them anyone not to tell what had happened |
