[1]Then will be compared the Kingdom of Heaven to ten virgins the same who took their lamps and went to meet the groom and the bride
[2]Five but of them wise were and five were foolish
[3]And those fools took their lamps and not took with them oil
[4]Those but wise ones took oil in their vessels with their lamps [4]αἱ δὲ φρόνιμοι ἔλαβον ἔλαιον ἐν τοῖς ἀγγείοις αὐτῶν μετὰ τῶν λαμπάδων αὐτῶν.
[5]When delayed but the groom grew tired all of them and slept
[6]And in the middle of the night there was an outcry behold the groom has come go out to meet him [6]μέσης δὲ νυκτὸς κραυγὴ γέγονεν· ἰδοὺ ὁ νυμφίος ἔρχεται, ἐξέρχεσθε εἰς ἀπάντησιν αὐτοῦ.
[7]Then arose all virgins those and trimmed their lamps
[8]Were saying but those fools to the wise give to us from your oil behold have gone out they our lamps [8]αἱ δὲ μωραὶ ταῖς φρονίμοις εἶπον· δότε ἡμῖν ἐκ τοῦ ἐλαίου ὑμῶν, ὅτι αἱ λαμπάδες ἡμῶν σβέννυνται.
[9]Answered those the wise and they were saying why? not there is enough for us and for you but go to those who sell and buy for yourselves
[10]And when they went to buy came the groom and those who ready were entered with him the house of wedding and was barred the door
[11]Afterward but came also those virgins other and they were saying our lord our lord open to us [11]ὕστερον δὲ ἔρχονται καὶ αἱ λοιπαὶ παρθένοι λέγουσαι· κύριε κύριε, ἄνοιξον ἡμῖν.
[12]He but answered and said to them amen say I to you that not know I you [12]ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν· ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐκ οἶδα ὑμᾶς.
[13]Wake up therefore for not know you day that neither the hour
[14]As a man for who journeyed called his servants and delivered to them his property
[15]One to whom he gave him five talents and another to whom two and another to whom one man each according to his power and he went abroad immediately [15]καὶ ᾧ μὲν ἔδωκε πέντε τάλαντα, ᾧ δὲ δύο, ᾧ δὲ ἕν, ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὴν ἰδίαν δύναμιν, καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν εὐθέως.
[16]Went but he who received five talents traded them and gained five others
[17]And so also he of the two gained two others
[18]He but who received one went dug in the ground and buried the money of his lord [18]ὁ δὲ τὸ ἓν λαβὼν ἀπελθὼν ὤρυξεν ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ ἀπέκρυψε τὸ ἀργύριον τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ.
[19]After but time much came their lord of servants those and he took of them an account
[20]And he called him who received had five talents and brought five others and he said my lord five talents you gave to me behold five others I have gained on top of them [20]καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ τὰ πέντε τάλαντα λαβὼν προσήνεγκεν ἄλλα πέντε τάλαντα λέγων· κύριε, πέντε τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ἴδε ἄλλα πέντε τάλαντα ἐκέρδησα ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῖς.
[21]Said to him his master well done servant good and faithful over a little faithful you have been over much I shall set you enter the joy of your lord [21]ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ· εὖ, δοῦλε ἀγαθὲ καὶ πιστέ!
[22]And came he of two his talents and he said my lord two talents you gave to me behold two others I have gained on top of them [22]προσελθὼν δὲ καὶ ὁ τὰ δύο τάλαντα λαβὼν εἶπε· κύριε, δύο τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ἴδε ἄλλα δύο τάλαντα ἐκέρδησα ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῖς.
[23]Said to him his lord well done servant good and faithful over a little faithful you have been over much I shall set you enter the joy of your lord [23]ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ· εὖ, δοῦλε ἀγαθὲ καὶ πιστέ!
[24]Came but also he who had received one talent and he said my lord known I had you that a man you are hard and reaping you are where that not you have sown and gathering you are from where that not you have threshed
[25]And I was afraid and I went I buried it your talent in the ground behold it is to you yours [25]καὶ φοβηθεὶς ἀπελθὼν ἔκρυψα τὸ τάλαντόν σου ἐν τῇ γῇ· ἴδε ἔχεις τὸ σόν.
[26]Answered his master and said to him servant evil and lazy knew you that reaped I where that not I had sown and gathered I from where that not I had threshed
[27]Incumbant and it was upon you to cast my money on the exchange and coming would have been I and I required would have mine with its interest
[28]Take therefore from him the talent and give it to him who has to him ten talents
[29]To whomever for has it it will be given to him and it will be increased to him he but who has not it also that which has he will be taken from him [29]τῷ γὰρ ἔχοντι παντὶ δοθήσεται καὶ περισσευθήσεται, ἀπὸ δὲ τοῦ μὴ ἔχοντος καὶ ὃ ἔχει ἀρθήσεται ἀπ᾿ αὐτοῦ.
[30]And the servant worthless he cast him into darkness outer there will be weeping and gnashing teeth [30]καὶ τὸν ἀχρεῖον δοῦλον ἐκβάλετε εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον· ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων.
[31]Whenever comes but The Son of Man in His glory and all His angels holy with Him then He will sit upon the throne of His glory
[32]And will be assembled before Him all of them the nations and He will separate them one from another as a shepherd who separates sheep from goats [32]καὶ συναχθήσεται ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, καὶ ἀφοριεῖ αὐτοὺς ἀπ᾿ ἀλλήλων ὥσπερ ὁ ποιμὴν ἀφορίζει τὰ πρόβατα ἀπὸ τῶν ἐρίφων,
[33]And He will place the sheep at His right and the goats at His left [33]καὶ στήσει τὰ μὲν πρόβατα ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ, τὰ δὲ ἐρίφια ἐξ εὐωνύμων.
[34]Then will say the King to those who are at His right come His blessed ones of My Father inherit the Kingdom that prepared was for you from the foundation of the universe
[35]I was hungry for and you gave to Me food and I was thirsty and you gave Me drink a stranger I was and you took Me in [35]ἐπείνασα γάρ, καὶ ἐδώκατέ μοι φαγεῖν, ἐδίψησα, καὶ ἐποτίσατέ με, ξένος ἤμην, καὶ συνηγάγετέ με,
[36]Naked I was and you clothed Me sick I was and you took care of Me and in the house of prisoners I was and you came to Me [36]γυμνός, καὶ περιεβάλετέ με, ἠσθένησα, καὶ ἐπεσκέψασθέ με, ἐν φυλακῇ ἤμην, καὶ ἤλθετε πρός με.
[37]Then will say to Him those the righteous our Lord when? did we see You that hungry You were and we fed You or that thirsty You were and we gave you drink [37]τότε ἀποκριθήσονται αὐτῷ οἱ δίκαιοι λέγοντες· κύριε, πότε σε εἴδομεν πεινῶντα καὶ ἐθρέψαμεν, ἢ διψῶντα καὶ ἐποτίσαμεν;
[38]And when? did we see You that a stranger you were and we took You in or that naked you were and we clothed You [38]πότε δέ σε εἴδομεν ξένον καὶ συνηγάγομεν, ἢ γυμνὸν καὶ περιεβάλομεν;
[39]And when? did we see You sick or in a house of prisoners and we came to You [39]πότε δέ σε εἴδομεν ἀσθενῆ ἢ ἐν φυλακῇ, καὶ ἤλθομεν πρός σε;
[40]And answers the King and says to them amen say I to you as much as you have done to one of these My brothers little to Me that you have done [40]καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐρεῖ αὐτοῖς· ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἐφ᾿ ὅσον ἐποιήσατε ἑνὶ τούτων τῶν ἀδελφῶν μου τῶν ἐλαχίστων, ἐμοὶ ἐποιήσατε.
[41]Then He will say also to those who are at His left depart you from me cursed ones into fire eternal that which was prepared for The Devil and for his angels
[42]I was hungry for and not you gave to Me food and I was thirsty and not you gave Me drink
[43]And a stranger I was and not you took Me in and naked I was and not you clothed Me and sick I was and in a house of prisoners I was and not you took care of Me [43]ξένος ἤμην, καὶ οὐ συνηγάγετέ με, γυμνός, καὶ οὐ περιεβάλετέ με, ἀσθενὴς καὶ ἐν φυλακῇ, καὶ οὐκ ἐπεσκέψασθέ με.
[44]Then will answer also those and they will say our Lord when? did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in a house of prisoners and not we ministered to You [44]τότε ἀποκριθήσονται αὐτῷ καὶ αὐτοὶ λέγοντες· κύριε, πότε σε εἴδομεν πεινῶντα ἢ διψῶντα ἢ ξένον ἢ γυμνὸν ἢ ἀσθενῆ ἢ ἐν φυλακῇ, καὶ οὐ διηκονήσαμέν σοι;
[45]Then He will answer and He will say to them amen say I to you as much as that which not you have done to one of these little ones also not to Me you have done
[46]And will go these into torture eternal and the righteous into life eternal [46]καὶ ἀπελεύσονται οὗτοι εἰς κόλασιν αἰώνιον, οἱ δὲ δίκαιοι εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον.
