[1]In the evening but in the Sabbath that was dawning first in the week came Maryam Magdalitha and Maryam the other that they may see the tomb [1]FROM the evening [end] of the sabbath, when the first [day] in the week was lightening, Mariam Magdolitha and the other Mariam came to see the sepulchre.
[2]And behold an earthquake great there was The Angel for of the Lord descended from Heaven and he came he rolled the stone from the entrance and sat he upon it [2]And, behold, there was a great earthquake; for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and drew near, rolled the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
[3]It was but his appearance like lightning and his clothing white was as snow [3]His aspect was like lightning, and his raiment was white as the snow.
[4]And from dread of him were shaken those who keeping watch were and they became as dead men [4]And with fear of him they who were watching were shaken, and became as the dead.
[5]Answered but the Angel and said to the women you not be afraid know I for that Ieshu Who was crucified seeking you are [5]But the angel answered and said to the women, Fear not ye; for I know that for Jeshu who was crucified you are seeking.
[6]Not He is here has risen He for just as He said come see the place in which laid was in it our Lord [6]He is not here: for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place in which our Lord was laid:
[7]And go quickly say to His disciples that He is risen from among the dead and behold He goes before you to Galila there you will see Him behold I have told you [7]And go with speed, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the house of the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galila. There shall you see him. Lo, I have told you.
[8]And they went quickly from the tomb with fear and with joy great and they ran to tell His disciples [8]And they went quickly from the sepulchre, with fear and with great joy, and ran that they might tell his disciples.
[9]And behold Ieshu met them and He said to them peace to you they but came they held His feet and they worshipped Him [9]And, behold, Jeshu met them, and said to them, Peace to you! And they approached, [him] held him by the feet, and adored him.
[10]Then said to them Ieshu not be afraid but go tell My brothers to go to Galila and there they will see Me [10]Then said Jeshu to them, Fear not; but go tell my brethren, that I will go into Galila, and there they shall see me.
[11]As they were going but came the men from guards those to the city and they told the Chief Priests every thing that had occurred [11]But while they went, there came certain from those guards into the city, and told the chief priests every thing that had been done.
[12]And they gave silver shekels not a few to the guards and they gathered with The Elders and they held a council [12]And they assembled with the elders, and took counsel; and they gave money not a little to the guards,
[13]And they were saying to them say that His disciples came and stole it in the night while slept we [13]Telling them, Say you that his disciples came [and] stole him away in the night, while we slept.
[14]And if should be reported this before the governor we persuade will him and you without anxiety shall make we [14]And if this be heard before the governor, we will persuade him, and make you without care.
[15]They but when they took the silver coins they did as they had instructed them and has gone out story this among the Judeans until this day [15]But they, when they had received the money, did as they had instructed them; and that saying went forth among the Jihudoyee until to-day.
[16]The disciples but the eleven went to Galila to the mountain where had appointed them Ieshu [16]But the eleven disciples went into Galila, unto the mountain where Jeshu had appointed them.
[17]And when they saw Him they worshipped Him of them but doubted some had [17]And when they saw him, they worshipped him; but from them some had doubted.
[18]And He Ieshu spoke with them and He said to them has been given to Me all authority in Heaven and in the earth and in the manner that has sent Me My Father sending I am you [18]And Jeshu drew near, and discoursed with them, and said to them, There is given unto me all power in heaven and in earth. As the Father sent me, so also I send you.
[19]Go you therefore disciple all of them the nations and baptize them in the Name of The Father and The Son and The Spirit of Holiness [19]Go therefore, disciple all nations, and baptize them in the name [of] the Father, and [of] the Son, and [of] the Spirit of Holiness.
[20]And instruct them so that they keep everything whatever I have commanded you and behold I with you I all of them the days until the end of the universe Amen [20]And teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days, until the consummation of the world. Amen. Finished is the Holy Gospel of the Preaching of Mathai; which he preached in Hebrew in the land of Palestine
