[1]And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696[H8762] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800] [1]And ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ spoke unto Moses, saying:
[2]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559[H8804] unto them, When ye be comeH935[H8799] into the landH776 of your habitationsH4186, which I giveH5414 unto youH8802, [2]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye are come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
[3]And will makeH6213[H8804] an offering by fireH801 unto the LORDH3068, a burnt offeringH5930, or a sacrificeH2077 in performingH6381[H8763] a vowH5088, or in a freewill offeringH5071, or in your solemn feastsH4150, to makeH6213[H8800] a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068, of the herdH1241, or of the flockH6629: [3]And will make an offering by fire unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, in fulfilment of a vow clearly uttered, or as a freewill-offering, or in your appointed seasons, to make a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, of the herd, or of the flock;
[4]Then shall he that offerethH7126[H8688] his offeringH7133 unto the LORDH3068 bringH7126[H8689] a meat offeringH4503 of a tenth dealH6241 of flourH5560 mingledH1101[H8803] with the fourthH7243 part of an hinH1969 of oilH8081. [4]Then shall he that bringeth his offering present unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ a meal-offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil;
[5]And the fourthH7243 part of an hinH1969 of wineH3196 for a drink offeringH5262 shalt thou prepareH6213[H8799] with the burnt offeringH5930 or sacrificeH2077, for oneH259 lambH3532. [5]And wine fo drink-offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt-offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
[6]Or for a ramH352, thou shalt prepareH6213[H8799] for a meat offeringH4503 twoH8147 tenth dealsH6241 of flourH5560 mingledH1101[H8803] with the thirdH7992 part of an hinH1969 of oilH8081. [6]Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal-offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil;
[7]And for a drink offeringH5262 thou shalt offerH7126[H8686] the thirdH7992 part of an hinH1969 of wineH3196, for a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. [7]And for the drink-offering thou shalt present the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎.
[8]And when thou preparestH6213[H8799] a bullockH1121[H1241] for a burnt offeringH5930, or for a sacrificeH2077 in performingH6381[H8763] a vowH5088, or peace offeringsH8002 unto the LORDH3068: [8]And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or for a sacrifice, in fulfilment of a vow clearly uttered, or for peace-offerings unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎;
[9]Then shall he bringH7126[H8689] with a bullockH1241[H1121] a meat offeringH4503 of threeH7969 tenth dealsH6241 of flourH5560 mingledH1101[H8803] with halfH2677 an hinH1969 of oilH8081. [9]Then shall there be presented with the bullock a meal-offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil.
[10]And thou shalt bringH7126[H8686] for a drink offeringH5262 halfH2677 an hinH1969 of wineH3196, for an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. [10]And thou shalt present for the drink-offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎.
[11]Thus shall it be doneH6213[H8735] for oneH259 bullockH7794, or for oneH259 ramH352, or for a lambH3532[H7716], or a kidH5795. [11]Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids.
[12]According to the numberH4557 that ye shall prepareH6213[H8799], soH3602 shall ye doH6213[H8799] to every oneH259 according to their numberH4557. [12]According to the number that ye may prepare, so shall ye do for every one according to their number.
[13]All that are born of the countryH249 shall doH6213[H8799] these things after this manner, in offeringH7126[H8687] an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068. [13]All that are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎.
[14]And if a strangerH1616 sojournH1481[H8799] with you, or whosoever be amongH8432 you in your generationsH1755, and will offerH6213[H8804] an offering made by fireH801, of a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068; as ye doH6213[H8799], so he shall doH6213.[H8799] [14]And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever may be among throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎; as ye do, so he shall do.
[15]OneH259 ordinanceH2708 shall be both for you of the congregationH6951, and also for the strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481[H8802] with you, an ordinanceH2708 for everH5769 in your generationsH1755: as ye are, so shall the strangerH1616 be beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. [15]As for the congregation, there shall be one statute both for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, a statute for ever throughout your generations; as ye are, so shall the stranger be before ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎.
[16]OneH259 lawH8451 and oneH259 mannerH4941 shall be for you, and for the strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481 with youH8802. [16]One law and one ordinance shall be both for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
[17]And the LORDH3068 spakeH1696[H8762] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800] [17]And ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ spoke unto Moses, saying:
[18]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559[H8804] unto them, When ye comeH935[H8800] into the landH776 whither I bringH935 youH8688, [18]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
[19]Then it shall be, that, when ye eatH398[H8800] of the breadH3899 of the landH776, ye shall offer upH7311[H8686] an heave offeringH8641 unto the LORDH3068. [19]Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall set apart a portion for a gift unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎.
[20]Ye shall offer upH7311[H8686] a cakeH2471 of the firstH7225 of your doughH6182 for an heave offeringH8641: as ye do the heave offeringH8641 of the threshingfloorH1637, so shall ye heaveH7311 itH8686. [20]Of the first of your dough ye shall set apart a cake for a gift; as that which is set apart of threshing-floor, so shall ye set it apart.
[21]Of the firstH7225 of your doughH6182 ye shall giveH5414[H8799] unto the LORDH3068 an heave offeringH8641 in your generationsH1755. [21]Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ a portion for a gift throughout your generations.
[22]And if ye have erredH7686[H8799], and not observedH6213[H8799] all these commandmentsH4687, which the LORDH3068 hath spokenH1696[H8765] unto MosesH4872, [22]And when ye shall err, and not observe al commandments, which ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ hath spoken unto Moses,
[23]Even all that the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680[H8765] you by the handH3027 of MosesH4872, from the dayH3117 that the LORDH3068 commandedH6680[H8765] Moses, and henceforwardH1973 among your generationsH1755; [23]Even all that ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;
[24]Then it shall be, if ought be committedH6213[H8738] by ignoranceH7684 without the knowledgeH5869 of the congregationH5712, that all the congregationH5712 shall offerH6213[H8804] oneH259 youngH1121[H1241] bullockH6499 for a burnt offeringH5930, for a sweetH5207 savourH7381 unto the LORDH3068, with his meat offeringH4503, and his drink offeringH5262, according to the mannerH4941, and oneH259 kidH8163 of the goatsH5795 for a sin offeringH2403. [24]Then it shall be, if it be done in error by the congregation, it being hid from their eyes, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet savour unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎—with the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof, according to the ordinance—and one he-goat for a sin-offering.
[25]And the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for all the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and it shall be forgivenH5545[H8738] them; for it is ignoranceH7684: and they shall bringH935[H8689] their offeringH7133, a sacrifice made by fireH801 unto the LORDH3068, and their sin offeringH2403 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, for their ignoranceH7684: [25]And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire unto ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, and their sin-offering before ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, for their error.
[26]And it shall be forgivenH5545[H8738] all the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and the strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481[H8802] amongH8432 them; seeing all the peopleH5971 were in ignoranceH7684. [26]And all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for in respect of all the people it was done in error.
[27]And if anyH259 soulH5315 sinH2398[H8799] through ignoranceH7684, then he shall bringH7126[H8689] a she goatH5795 of the firstH1323 yearH8141 for a sin offeringH2403. [27]And if one person s through error, then he shall offer a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.
[28]And the priestH3548 shall make an atonementH3722[H8765] for the soulH5315 that sinneth ignorantlyH7683[H8802], when he sinnethH2398[H8800] by ignoranceH7684 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, to make an atonementH3722[H8763] for him; and it shall be forgivenH5545 himH8738. [28]And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that erreth, when he sinneth through error, before ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven,
[29]Ye shall have oneH259 lawH8451 for him that sinnethH6213[H8802] through ignoranceH7684, both for him that is bornH249 among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and for the strangerH1616 that sojournethH1481[H8802] among themH8432. [29]Both he that is home-born among the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them: ye shall have one law for him that doeth aught in error.
[30]But the soulH5315 that doethH6213[H8799] ought presumptuouslyH7311[H8802][H3027], whether he be born in the landH249, or a strangerH4480[H1616], the same reproachethH1442[H8764] the LORDH3068; and that soulH5315 shall be cut offH3772[H8738] from amongH7130 his peopleH5971. [30]But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a stranger, the same blasphemeth ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[31]Because he hath despisedH959[H8804] the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068, and hath brokenH6565[H8689] his commandmentH4687, that soulH5315 shall utterlyH3772[H8736] be cut offH3772[H8735]; his iniquity shall be upon himH5771. [31]Because he ha despised the word of ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, and hath broken His commandment; that soul shall utterly be cut off, his iniquity shall be upon him.
[32]And while the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 were in the wildernessH4057, they foundH4672[H8799] a manH376 that gatheredH7197[H8781] sticksH6086 upon the sabbathH7676 dayH3117. [32]And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks upon the sabbath day.
[33]And they that foundH4672[H8802] him gatheringH7197[H8781] sticksH6086 broughtH7126[H8686] him unto MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and unto all the congregationH5712. [33]And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
[34]And they putH3240[H8686] him in wardH4929, because it was not declaredH6567[H8795] what should be doneH6213 to himH8735. [34]And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.
[35]And the LORDH3068 saidH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, The manH376 shall be surelyH4191[H8800] put to deathH4191[H8714]: all the congregationH5712 shall stoneH7275[H8800] him with stonesH68 withoutH2351 the campH4264. [35]And ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ said unto Moses: 'The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.'
[36]And all the congregationH5712 broughtH3318[H8686] him withoutH2351 the campH4264, and stonedH7275[H8799] him with stonesH68, and he diedH4191[H8799]; as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680[H8765] MosesH4872. [36]And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as YH commanded Moses.
[37]And the LORDH3068 spakeH559[H8799] unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,[H8800] [37]And ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ spoke unto Moses, saying:
[38]SpeakH1696[H8761] unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and bidH559[H8804] them that they makeH6213[H8804] them fringesH6734 in the bordersH3671 of their garmentsH899 throughout their generationsH1755, and that they putH5414[H8804] upon the fringeH6734 of the bordersH3671 a ribbandH6616 of blueH8504: [38]'Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes in the corners of thei garments, and that they put with the fringe of each corner a thread of blue.
[39]And it shall be unto you for a fringeH6734, that ye may lookH7200[H8804] upon it, and rememberH2142[H8804] all the commandmentsH4687 of the LORDH3068, and doH6213[H8804] them; and that ye seekH8446[H8799] not afterH310 your own heartH3824 and your own eyesH5869, afterH310 which ye use to go a whoringH2181:[H8802] [39]And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎, and do them; and that ye go not about after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go astray;
[40]That ye may rememberH2142[H8799], and doH6213[H8804] all my commandmentsH4687, and beH1961[H8804] holyH6918 unto your GodH430. [40]That ye may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy unto your God.
[41]I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430, which brought you outH3318[H8689] of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, to be your GodH430: I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430. [41]I am ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ your God.'
