| [1]וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
[1]And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| [2]צַ֞ו אֶת־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כִּֽי־אַתֶּ֥ם בָּאִ֖ים אֶל־הָאָ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן זֹ֣את הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּפֹּ֤ל לָכֶם֙ בְּֽנַחֲלָ֔ה אֶ֥רֶץ כְּנַ֖עַן לִגְבֻלֹתֶֽיהָ׃ |
[2]Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall unto your inheritance: that is, the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof. |
| [3]וְהָיָ֨ה לָכֶ֧ם פְּאַת־נֶ֛גֶב מִמִּדְבַּר־צִ֖ן עַל־יְדֵ֣י אֱדֹ֑ום וְהָיָ֤ה לָכֶם֙ גְּב֣וּל נֶ֔גֶב מִקְצֵ֥ה יָם־הַמֶּ֖לַח קֵֽדְמָה׃ |
[3]And your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin to the borders of Edom: so that your south quarter shall be from the salt sea coast eastward: |
| [4]וְנָסַ֣ב לָכֶם֩ הַגְּב֨וּל מִנֶּ֜גֶב לְמַעֲלֵ֤ה עַקְרַבִּים֙ וְעָ֣בַר צִ֔נָה [וְהָיָה כ] (וְהָיוּ֙ ק) תֹּֽוצְאֹתָ֔יו מִנֶּ֖גֶב לְקָדֵ֣שׁ בַּרְנֵ֑עַ וְיָצָ֥א חֲצַר־אַדָּ֖ר וְעָבַ֥ר עַצְמֹֽנָה׃ |
[4]And the border shall compass you from the south to Maaleh-akrabbim, and reach to Zin, and go out from the south to Kadesh-barnea: thence it shall stretch to Hazar-addar, and go along to Azmon. |
| [5]וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מֵעַצְמֹ֖ון נַ֣חְלָה מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהָי֥וּ תֹוצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּֽמָּה׃ |
[5]And the border shall compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and shall go out to the sea. |
| [6]וּגְב֣וּל יָ֔ם וְהָיָ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם הַיָּ֥ם הַגָּדֹ֖ול וּגְב֑וּל זֶֽה־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֥וּל יָֽם׃ |
[6]And your west quarter shall be the great sea: even that border shall be your west coast. |
| [7]וְזֶֽה־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֣וּל צָפֹ֑ון מִן־הַיָּם֙ הַגָּדֹ֔ל תְּתָא֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם הֹ֥ר הָהָֽר׃ |
[7]And this shall be your north quarter: ye shall mark out your border from the great sea unto mount Hor. |
| [8]מֵהֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר תְּתָא֖וּ לְבֹ֣א חֲמָ֑ת וְהָי֛וּ תֹּוצְאֹ֥ת הַגְּבֻ֖ל צְדָֽדָה׃ |
[8]From mount Hor ye shall point out till it come unto Hamath, and the end of the coast shall be at Zedad. |
| [9]וְיָצָ֤א הַגְּבֻל֙ זִפְרֹ֔נָה וְהָי֥וּ תֹוצְאֹתָ֖יו חֲצַ֣ר עֵינָ֑ן זֶֽה־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֥וּל צָפֹֽון׃ |
[9]And the coast shall reach out to Ziphron, and go out at Hazar-enan. this shall be your north quarter. |
| [10]וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶ֥ם לָכֶ֖ם לִגְב֣וּל קֵ֑דְמָה מֵחֲצַ֥ר עֵינָ֖ן שְׁפָֽמָה׃ |
[10]And ye shall mark out your east quarter from Hazar-enan to Shepham. |
| [11]וְיָרַ֨ד הַגְּבֻ֧ל מִשְּׁפָ֛ם הָרִבְלָ֖ה מִקֶּ֣דֶם לָעָ֑יִן וְיָרַ֣ד הַגְּב֔וּל וּמָחָ֛ה עַל־כֶּ֥תֶף יָם־כִּנֶּ֖רֶת קֵֽדְמָה׃ |
[11]And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, and from the east side of Ain: and the same border shall descend and go out at the side of the sea of Chinneereth eastward. |
| [12]וְיָרַ֤ד הַגְּבוּל֙ הַיַּרְדֵּ֔נָה וְהָי֥וּ תֹוצְאֹתָ֖יו יָ֣ם הַמֶּ֑לַח זֹאת֩ תִּהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֥ם הָאָ֛רֶץ לִגְבֻלֹתֶ֖יהָ סָבִֽיב׃ |
[12]Also that border shall go down to Jordan, and leave at the salt sea. This shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. |
| [13]וַיְצַ֣ו מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֹ֣את הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּתְנַחֲל֤וּ אֹתָהּ֙ בְּגֹורָ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה לָתֵ֛ת לְתִשְׁעַ֥ת הַמַּטֹּ֖ות וַחֲצִ֥י הַמַּטֶּֽה׃ |
[13]Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto nine tribes and half the tribe. |
| [14]כִּ֣י לָקְח֞וּ מַטֵּ֨ה בְנֵ֤י הָראוּבֵנִי֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֔ם וּמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־הַגָּדִ֖י לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֑ם וַחֲצִי֙ מַטֵּ֣ה מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לָקְח֖וּ נַחֲלָתָֽם׃ |
[14]For the tribe of the children of Reuben, according to the households of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, according to their fathers' households, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance. |
| [15]שְׁנֵ֥י הַמַּטֹּ֖ות וַחֲצִ֣י הַמַּטֶּ֑ה לָקְח֣וּ נַחֲלָתָ֗ם מֵעֵ֛בֶר לְיַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵחֹ֖ו קֵ֥דְמָה מִזְרָֽחָה׃ |
[15]Two tribes and an half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of Jordan toward Jericho full east. |
| [16]וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
[16]Again the Lord spake to Moses, saying, |
| [17]אֵ֚לֶּה שְׁמֹ֣ות הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־יִנְחֲל֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ אֶלְעָזָר֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וִיהֹושֻׁ֖עַ בִּן־נֽוּן׃ |
[17]These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. |
| [18]וְנָשִׂ֥יא אֶחָ֛ד נָשִׂ֥יא אֶחָ֖ד מִמַּטֶּ֑ה תִּקְח֖וּ לִנְחֹ֥ל אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
[18]And ye shall take also a prince of every tribe to divide the land. |
| [19]וְאֵ֖לֶּה שְׁמֹ֣ות הָאֲנָשִׁ֑ים לְמַטֵּ֣ה יְהוּדָ֔ה כָּלֵ֖ב בֶּן־יְפֻנֶּֽה׃ |
[19]The names also of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. |
| [20]וּלְמַטֵּה֙ בְּנֵ֣י שִׁמְעֹ֔ון שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן־עַמִּיהֽוּד׃ |
[20]And of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud. |
| [21]לְמַטֵּ֣ה בִנְיָמִ֔ן אֱלִידָ֖ד בֶּן־כִּסְלֹֽון׃ |
[21]Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. |
| [22]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־דָ֖ן נָשִׂ֑יא בֻּקִּ֖י בֶּן־יָגְלִֽי׃ |
[22]Also of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki, the son of Jogli. |
| [23]לִבְנֵ֣י יֹוסֵ֔ף לְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־מְנַשֶּׁ֖ה נָשִׂ֑יא חַנִּיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־אֵפֹֽד׃ |
[23]Of the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel the son of Ephod. |
| [24]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם נָשִׂ֑יא קְמוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן־שִׁפְטָֽן׃ |
[24]And of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel, the son of Shiphtan. |
| [25]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־זְבוּלֻ֖ן נָשִׂ֑יא אֱלִיצָפָ֖ן בֶּן־פַּרְנָֽךְ׃ |
[25]Of the tribe also of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan, the son of Parnach. |
| [26]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־יִשָׂשכָ֖ר נָשִׂ֑יא פַּלְטִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־עַזָּֽן׃ |
[26]So of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel the son of Azzan. |
| [27]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־אָשֵׁ֖ר נָשִׂ֑יא אֲחִיה֖וּד בֶּן־שְׁלֹמִֽי׃ |
[27]Of the tribe also of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud, the son of Shelomi. |
| [28]וּלְמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־נַפְתָּלִ֖י נָשִׂ֑יא פְּדַהְאֵ֖ל בֶּן־עַמִּיהֽוּד׃ |
[28]And of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel, the son of Ammihud. |
| [29]אֵ֕לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה לְנַחֵ֥ל אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּאֶ֥רֶץ כְּנָֽעַן׃ |
[29]These are they, whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan. |
