[1] Haste thee O Lorde to delyuer me: make haste to helpe me O God [1]The seuentithe salm hath no title. Lord, Y hopide in thee, be Y not schent with outen ende;
[2]Let them be ashamed and confounded that seke after my soule: let them be turned backwarde and be put to confusion that wishe me euyll [2]in thi riytwisnesse delyuere thou me, and rauysche me out. Bowe doun thin eere to me; and make me saaf.
[3]Let them be returned backwarde: for a rewarde of their shamyng [other] which say, there, there [3]Be thou to me in to God a defendere; and in to a strengthid place, that thou make me saaf. For thou art my stidefastnesse; and my refuit.
[4]But let all those that seke thee be ioyfull and glad in thee: and let all such as delight in thy saluation say alway, the Lorde be magnified [4]My God, delyuere thou me fro the hoond of the synner; and fro the hoond of a man doynge ayens the lawe, and of the wickid man.
[5]As for me I am poore and in miserie, hasten thee vnto me O Lorde: thou art my ayde and my delyuerer, O God make no long tarying [5]For thou, Lord, art my pacience; Lord, thou art myn hope fro my yongthe.
