[[A Psalm Chapter or song committed to the sons of Korah.]]
[1]HER foundations are on his holy mountain. [1]God laid his foundations among the holy mountains.
[2]The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. [2]The Lord loveth the gates of Zion above all the habitations of Jacob.
[3]Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of our God. [3]Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
[4]I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon, for they know my power: behold the Philistines and Tyre and the people of Ethiopia; it shall be said this man was born there. [4]I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon among them that know me: behold Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia, There is he born.
[5]And of Zion it shall be said, This mighty man was born in her; and the same shall establish her. [5]And of Zion it shall be said, Many are born in her: and he, even the Most High shall stablish her.
[6]The LORD shall number his people in the book: This man was born there! [6]The Lord shall count, when he writeth the people, He was born there. Selah.
[7]The princes who dwell in you shall rejoice, and all that are humbled in you. [7]As well the singers as the players on instruments shall praise thee: all my springs are in thee.
