[[A Psalm Chapter or song for the Sabbath day.]]
[1]It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing unto thy name, O Most High, [1]εἰς τὴν ἡμέραν τοῦ προσαββάτου ὅτε κατῴκισται ἡ γῆ αἶνος ᾠδῆς τῷ δαυιδ ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν εὐπρέπειαν ἐνεδύσατο ἐνεδύσατο κύριος δύναμιν καὶ περιεζώσατο καὶ γὰρ ἐστερέωσεν τὴν οἰκουμένην ἥτις οὐ σαλευθήσεται
[2]To declare thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy truth in the night, [2]ἕτοιμος ὁ θρόνος σου ἀπὸ τότε ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος σὺ εἶ
[3]Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the viol with the song upon the harp. [3]ἐπῆραν οἱ ποταμοί κύριε ἐπῆραν οἱ ποταμοὶ φωνὰς αὐτῶν
[4]For thou, Lord, hast made me glad by thy works, and I will rejoice in the works of thine hands. [4]ἀπὸ φωνῶν ὑδάτων πολλῶν θαυμαστοὶ οἱ μετεωρισμοὶ τῆς θαλάσσης θαυμαστὸς ἐν ὑψηλοῖς ὁ κύριος
[5]O Lord, how glorious are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep. [5]τὰ μαρτύριά σου ἐπιστώθησαν σφόδρα τῷ οἴκῳ σου πρέπει ἁγίασμα κύριε εἰς μακρότητα ἡμερῶν
[6]An unwise man knoweth it not, and a fool doth not understand this, 6[No verse]
[7](When the wicked grow as the grass, and all the workers of wickedness do flourish) that they shall be destroyed forever. 7[No verse]
[8]But thou, O Lord, art Most High forevermore. 8[No verse]
[9]For lo, thine enemies, O Lord: for lo, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquity shall be destroyed. 9[No verse]
[10]But thou shalt exalt mine horn, like the unicorns, and I shall be anointed with fresh oil. 10[No verse]
[11]Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine ears shall hear my wish against the wicked, that rise up against me. 11[No verse]
[12]The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, and shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 12[No verse]
[13]Such as be planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courts of our God. 13[No verse]
[14]They shall still bring forth fruit in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing, 14[No verse]
[15]To declare that the Lord my rock is righteous, and that none iniquity is in him. 15[No verse]
