| [1]And I stood on the sand of the sea and I saw ascending a beast from the sea that has to him ten horns and seven heads and upon its horns ten diadems and upon its heads the name of blasphemy |
[1]AND I saw that a beast of preyⓘ ascended from the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon his horns seven diadems; and upon his heads names of blasphemy. |
| [2]And the beast that I saw like was a leopard and its feet as of a wolf and its mouths as of lions and gave to it The Dragon its power and its throne and authority great |
[2]And the beast of prey which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as [those] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion, and the dragon gave to him his power, and his throne, and great authority. |
| [3]And one of its heads as if crushed to death and its wound mortal was healed and marveled all The Earth after The Beast |
[3]And one of his heads was wounded as to death. And his stroke of death was healed; and all the earth wondered after the beast of prey. |
| [4]And they worshipped The Dragon that gives authority to The Beast and they worshipped The Beast saying who is? one like Beast this and who is able to war with it |
[4]And they worshipped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast of prey,ⓘ and who is able to make war with him? |
| [5]Was given to it a mouth that speaks great things and blasphemy and was given to it authority to work months forty and two |
[5]And there was given him a mouth speaking great sayings and blasphemies, and authority was given him to act, MONTHS, FORTY AND TWO. |
| [6]And it opened its mouths to blaspheme before Alaha to blaspheme The Name and The Dwelling of those who dwell in Heaven |
[6]And he opened his mouth to blaspheme against Aloha, blaspheming his name, and his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. |
| [7]And it was given to it to make war with the holy ones and to conquer them and was given to it authority over all generations and peoples and languages and nations |
[7]And there was given to him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation; and there was given to him to make war with the saints, to overcome them. |
| [8]And will worship it all of them the inhabitants of The Earth those who not are written in the book of Life that of The Lamb slain before the foundation of the world |
[8]And all those who inhabit on the earth will worship him, they whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb from the foundation of the world. |
| [9]The one who has to him an ear let him hear |
[9]If a man have ears, let him hear. |
| [10]Whoever into captivity leads into captivity goes and those who with a sword murder with a sword will be killed here is faith and the endurance of the holy ones |
[10]If any man into captivity leadeth, into captivity he shall go. If any man kill with the sword, it behoveth him by the sword to be killed. This is the patience and the faith of the saints. |
| [11]And I saw beast another that ascended from the ground and it had to it two horns and was like The Lamb and speaking was as The Dragon |
[11]And I saw another beast of prey ascending from the earth; and he had two horns like those of the lamb, and he spake as the dragon. |
| [12]And the authority of the beast former all it will exercise before Him and will make The Earth and those living in it also to worship beast the first that whose was healed wound mortal |
[12]And all the authority of the first beast of prey he exercised before him; and he made the earth and those who inhabit therein to worship the first beast of prey, whose wound of death was healed. |
| [13]And it will perform signs great so fire to make to descend from heaven on Earth before the people |
[13]And he wrought great signs, as that also he would make fire to come down from heaven upon earth before men. |
| [14]And it will seduce those living on Earth by signs that were given to him to perform before The Beast to tell dwellers on Earth to make an image to The Beast which had to him the wound by the sword and lived |
[14]And he will seduce those who dwell upon earth to the making an image of the beast of prey who had the wound of the sword and lived. |
| [15]And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of The Beast and to cause that all who not will worship it the image of The Beast would be murdered |
[15]And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast of prey,ⓘ and to cause that all those whosoever who worshipped not the image of the beast of prey should be killed. |
| [16]And it will cause all small and great rich and poor masters and servants to be given to them a mark on their hands right or on between their eyes |
[16]And he caused all, small and great, and rich and poor, and sons of freedom and slaves, to have given to them a signature upon their right hands, or upon their foreheads; |
| [17]That not a man may buy or may sell again except one who has upon him a mark of the name of The Beast or the number of its name |
[17]As that no man might be able to buy or sell, unless he had the signature of the name of the beast of prey, or the number of his name. |
| [18]Here is wisdom and whoever has in him a mind let calculate the number of The Beast the number is for of a man six hundred and sixty and six |
[18]Here is wisdom. Let him who hath mind, calculate the number of the beast of prey; for the number is of man; and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six. |
