| [1]And he stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast of prey come up from the sea, having ten horns, and seven heads; and upon his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. |
[1]And I stood on the sand of the sea and I saw ascending a beast from the sea that has to him ten horns and seven heads and upon its horns ten diadems and upon its heads the name of blasphemy |
| [2]And the beast of prey which I saw, was like a leopard; and his feet like [those] of a wolf, and his mouth like the mouth of lions: and the dragon gave to him his own power and his throne, and great authority. |
[2]And the beast that I saw like was a leopard and its feet as of a wolf and its mouths as of lions and gave to it The Dragon its power and its throne and authority great |
| [3]And one of his heads was wounded as it were to death; and his deadly wound was healed. And all the earth wondered after the beast of prey. |
[3]And one of its heads as if crushed to death and its wound mortal was healed and marveled all The Earth after The Beast |
| [4]And they worshipped the dragon, because he had given authority to this beast of prey, and [they said], who can make war upon him? |
[4]And they worshipped The Dragon that gives authority to The Beast and they worshipped The Beast saying who is? one like Beast this and who is able to war with it |
| [5]And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things, and blasphemies: and authority was given him to operate forty and two months. |
[5]Was given to it a mouth that speaks great things and blasphemy and was given to it authority to work months forty and two |
| [6]And he opened his mouth in blasphemy towards God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, and them who dwell in heaven. |
[6]And it opened its mouths to blaspheme before Alaha to blaspheme The Name and The Dwelling of those who dwell in Heaven |
| [7]And authority was given him over every tribe and people and tongue and nation: and it was given him to wage war with the saints, and to overcome them. |
[7]And it was given to it to make war with the holy ones and to conquer them and was given to it authority over all generations and peoples and languages and nations |
| [8]And all that dwell on the earth, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, will worship him. |
[8]And will worship it all of them the inhabitants of The Earth those who not are written in the book of Life that of The Lamb slain before the foundation of the world |
| [9]If any one hath ears, let him hear. |
[9]The one who has to him an ear let him hear |
| [10]If [any one] carrieth into captivity, he shall himself go into captivity; and if any one slayeth with the sword, he must be slain with the sword: here is the patience and the faith of the saints. |
[10]Whoever into captivity leads into captivity goes and those who with a sword murder with a sword will be killed here is faith and the endurance of the holy ones |
| [11]And I saw another beast of prey, which came out of the earth; and he had two horns like those of a lamb, and he spoke like the dragon. |
[11]And I saw beast another that ascended from the ground and it had to it two horns and was like The Lamb and speaking was as The Dragon |
| [12]And before him he exercised all the authority of the first beast of prey, whose deadly wound was healed. |
[12]And the authority of the beast former all it will exercise before Him and will make The Earth and those living in it also to worship beast the first that whose was healed wound mortal |
| [13]And he wrought great signs, even so as to make fire come down from heaven upon the earth, before men. |
[13]And it will perform signs great so fire to make to descend from heaven on Earth before the people |
| [14]And he seduced them that dwell on the earth, to erect an image to the beast of prey who had the wound from a sword and recovered. |
[14]And it will seduce those living on Earth by signs that were given to him to perform before The Beast to tell dwellers on Earth to make an image to The Beast which had to him the wound by the sword and lived |
| [15]And it was given him to put life into the image of the beast of prey; and to cause that all they who would not worship the image of the beast of prey, should be slain: |
[15]And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of The Beast and to cause that all who not will worship it the image of The Beast would be murdered |
| [16]and to cause that all, great and small, rich and poor, bond and free, should receive a mark on their right hands, or upon their foreheads; |
[16]And it will cause all small and great rich and poor masters and servants to be given to them a mark on their hands right or on between their eyes |
| [17]so that no one might be able to buy or to sell, except those who had the mark of the name of the beast of prey, or the number of his name. |
[17]That not a man may buy or may sell again except one who has upon him a mark of the name of The Beast or the number of its name |
| [18]Here is wisdom: let him that hath intelligence, compute the number of the beast of prey; for it is the number of a man: and its number is six hundred and sixty and six. |
[18]Here is wisdom and whoever has in him a mind let calculate the number of The Beast the number is for of a man six hundred and sixty and six |
