[1]Aftir these thingis Y herde as a greet vois of many trumpis in heuene, seiynge, Alleluya; heriynge, and glorie, and vertu is to oure God; |
[1]And from after these things I heard a sound great of multitudes many in Heaven saying Hallelujah redemption and glory and power to our Alaha |
[2]for trewe and iust ben the domes of hym, whiche demede of the greet hoore, that defoulide the erthe in her letcherye, and vengide the blood of hise seruauntis, of the hondis of hir. |
[2]Because true and just His judgments because He judged The Whore Great who corrupted The Earth with her whoredom and He has required the blood of His servants from her hand |
[3]And eft thei seiden, Alleluya. And the smoke of it stieth vp, in to worldis of worldis. |
[3]Again they said Hellelujah and her smoke ascends to the eternity of eternities |
[4]And the foure and twenti senyouris and foure beestis felden doun, and worschipiden God sittynge on the trone, and seiden, Amen, Alleluya. |
[4]And fell twenty and four Elders and the four Beasts and worshipped our Alaha Who sits on the throne and they were saying Amen Hallelujah |
[5]And a vois wente out of the trone, and seide, Alle the seruauntis of oure God, seie ye heriyngus to oure God, and ye that dreden God, smale and grete. |
[5]And a voice from the throne that said praise our Alaha all of them His servants and worshippers of His Name all of them small with great |
[6]And Y herde a vois of a grete trumpe, as the vois of many watris, and as the vois of grete thundris, seiynge, Alleluya; for oure Lord God almyyti hath regned. |
[6]And I heard sound like that of multitudes many and as a sound of waters many and as the sound of thunders mighty saying Hallelujah because reigns the Lord Alaha holding all |
[7]Ioye we, and make we myrthe, and yyue glorie to hym; for the weddingis of the lomb camen, and the wijf of hym made redy hir silf. |
[7]We rejoice and we celebrate we give Him glory because has come the wedding of The Lamb and His woman has prepared herself |
[8]And it is youun to hir, that sche kyuere hir with white bissyn schynynge; for whi bissyn is iustifiyngis of seyntis. |
[8]And it was given to her to wear fine linen pure and bright the fine linens for the uprightness these are of the holy ones |
[9]And he seide to me, Write thou, Blessid ben thei that ben clepid to the soper of weddyngis of the lomb. And he seide to me, These wordis of God ben trewe. |
[9]And they said to me write blessings to those who to the supper of the wedding of The Lamb are called and one said to me these the words true of Alaha are |
[10]And Y felde doun bifore hise feet, to worschipe hym. And he seide to me, Se thou, that thou do not; Y am a seruaunt with thee, and of thi britheren, hauynge the witnessyng of Jhesu; worschipe thou God. For the witnessing of Jhesu is spirit of profesie. |
[10]And I fell before his feet and I worshipped him and he said to me no! your fellow servant I am and of your brothers these who have to them the testimony of Ieshu to Alaha worship rather the testimony for of Ieshu is the spirit of prophecy |
[11]And Y say heuene openyd, and lo! a whit hors, and he that sat on hym was clepid Feithful and sothefast; and with riytwisnesse he demeth, and fiytith. |
[11]And I saw Heaven opened and behold a horse white and He Who sat upon it is called trustworthy and true and in righteousness He judges and He makes war |
[12]And `the iyen of hym weren as flawme of fier, and in his heed many diademys; and he hadde a name writun, which no man knew, but he. |
[12]His eyes but as flames of fire and upon His head diadems many and He has to him The Name written which not one knew but only He |
[13]And he was clothid in a cloth spreynt with blood; and the name of hym was clepid The sone of God. |
[13]And He wore a garment soaked with blood and is called His Name The Word of Alaha |
[14]And the oostis that ben in heuene, sueden hym on white horsis, clothid with bissyn, white and clene. |
[14]And the army of Heaven joined were to Him on horses white and were wearing linen white and pure |
[15]And a swerd scharp on ech side cam forth of his mouth, that with it he smyte folkis; and he shal reule hem with an yren yerde. And he tredith the pressour of wyn of stronge veniaunce of the wraththe of almyyti God. |
[15]And from their mouths come out swords sharp by which they will kill the nations and He will shepherd them with a rod of iron and He treads the winepress of the rage of Alaha holding all |
[16]And he hath writun in his cloth, and in the hemme, Kyng of kyngis and Lord of lordis. |
[16]And is to him on His garment over His thigh The Name written The King of kings and The Lord of lordship |
[17]And Y say an aungel, stondynge in the sunne; and he criede with greet vois, and seide to alle briddis that flowen bi the myddil of heuene, Come ye, and be ye gaderid to the greet soper of God, |
[17]And I saw another angel standing in the sun and crying in a voice loud and he said to the birds flying in the midst of the sky come "Gather to the supper great of Alaha" |
[18]that ye ete the fleisch of kingis, and fleisch of tribunes, and fleisch of stronge men, and fleisch of horsis, and of tho that sitten on hem, and the fleisch of alle fre men and bonde men, and of smale and of grete. |
[18]To eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains of thousands and the flesh of warriors and the flesh of horses and of those sitting upon them and the flesh of freemen and of servants and of small and of great |
[19]And Y sai the beeste, and the kyngis of the erthe, and the oostis of hem gaderid, to make batel with hym, that sat on the hors, and with his oost. |
[19]And I saw The Beast and its armies and kings of The Earth and their soldiers who gathered to make war with Him Who sat on the horse and with His soldiers |
[20]And the beeste was cauyt, and with hir the false prophete, that made signes bifor hir; in whiche he disseyuede hem that token the carect of the beeste, and that worschipiden the ymage of it. These tweyne weren sent quyke in to the pool of fier, brennynge with brymstoon. |
[20]And was captured The Beast and The Prophet False with Him he who did signs before it by which he seduced those who received the mark of The Beast and those who worshipped its image and descended both and were cast into the lake of fire that burns also with brimstone |
[21]And the othere weren slayn of swerd of hym that sat on the hors, that cometh forth of the mouth of hym; and alle briddis weren fillid with the fleisch of hem. |
[21]Of the rest but were killed with the sword of Him sitting on the horse by that which proceeded from His mouth and all birds of prey were filled from their flesh |
