| [1]And to the messenger who is in the assembly of Sardis write thus says He Who has to Him The Seven Spirits of Alaha and seven stars know I your works and the name that is to you and that alive you are and that dead you are |
[1]AND to the angel who is in Sardis write: These saith he who hath the seven Spirits of Aloha, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that a name thou hast that thou livest, and thou art dead. |
| [2]And be vigilant and confirm what remains of those that ready have been to die not for I have found you that perfect your works before Alaha |
[2]Awake, and keep those things which remain, which are about to die; for I have not found thy works complete before my God. |
| [3]Remember how you have heard and you have received take heed and return but if not you wake up shall come I upon you as a thief and not you will know what hour I shall come upon you |
[3]Remember then how thou hast received, and hearken, and keep, and repent. And if then thou wilt not awake, I will come against thee as the thief, and thou shalt not know in what hour I come against thee. |
| [4]But is to Me a few names in Sardis those who not have defiled their garments and they walk before Me in white and they worthy are |
[4]But thou hast a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their vestments; and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy. |
| [5]He who overcomes in this way is garbed in a garment white and not I shall blot out his name from the book of life and I shall confess his name before My Father and before His angels |
[5]He who overcometh shall be clothed in white vestments, and I will not blot theirⓘ name from the book of life; and I will confess their name before my Father, and before his angels. |
| [6]Whoever has to him an ear let him hear what The Spirit speaks to the assemblies |
[6]He who hath ears, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. |
| [7]And to the messenger of the assembly of Philadelphia write thus says The Holy One The True One He Who has to Him the key of Dawid The One Who opens and there is not a closer and He shuts and there is not an opener |
[7]And to the angel of the church which is in Philadelphia write: These saith the Holy, the True, who hath the key of David; who openeth and no man shutteth,9 and who shuttethⓘ and no man openeth. |
| [8]Know I your works and behold I have set before you a door opened which not a man can shut because that a little power is to you and My word you have kept and My Name not you have denied |
[8]I know thy works; and, behold, I have given before thee an open door, which no man can shut; because thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. |
| [9]And behold devote I some of the synagogue of Satan of those who say about themselves that Jews they are and not they are but they are lying behold I shall make them to come and to worship before your feet and to know that I love you |
[9]Behold, I will give [to those] of the synagogue of Satana, who say that they are Jihudoyee, and are not, but lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and they shall know that I have loved thee. |
| [10]Because that you have kept the word of My patience also I shall keep you from the trial that is going to come over all the inhabited world to test the inhabitants of The Earth |
[10]Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which is to come upon all the habitable world, to try them who dwell upon the earth. |
| [11]Come I at once hold fast that whichever is to you lest a man take your crown |
[11]I come quickly. Hold that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. |
| [12]And the overcomer I shall make him a pillar in the temple of Alaha and outside not he will go out again and I shall write upon Him The Name of My Alaha and The Name of the city New Jerusalem which descends from My Alaha and Name My New |
[12]Him who overcometh I will make a column in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and of Urishlem the new, which descendeth from heaven from my God, and my new name. |
| [13]And the one who has to him an ear let hear what The Spirit speaks to the assemblies |
[13]He who hath ears, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. |
| [14]And to the messenger of the assembly of the Laydiqyans write thus says Amen The Witness trustworthy |
[14]And to the angel of the church which is in Ladikia write: These saith the Amen, the Witness, the faithful, the true, the Head of the creation of Aloha. |
| [15]Know I your works not cold you are neither hot because necessary it is that either cold you will be or hot |
[15]I know thy works, that thou art neither hot nor cold. Would that thou wast cold or hot! |
| [16]And you are lukewarm and not cold neither hot am going I to vomit you from My mouth |
[16]So, because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit thee from my mouth. |
| [17]Because you said that rich you are and I have prospered and of anything not am deprived I and not know you that you are sick and wretched and poor and naked |
[17]Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have become opulent, and of nothing have need; and knowest not that thou art infirm, and miserable, and needy, and blind, and naked; |
| [18]Counsel I you to buy from Me gold that is proved from the fire that you may prosper and garments white to put on lest be revealed the shame of your nakedness and eye salve to anoint that you may see |
[18]I counsel thee to buy of me gold, proved by fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness be not seen; and lave with collyrium thine eyes, that thou mayest see. |
| [19]I those whom love I rebuke I and discipline I be zealous therefore and return |
[19]All those whom I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. |
| [20]Behold I have stood at the door and I shall knock if a man listens to My voice and will open the door also I shall enter and I shall have supper with Him and he with Me |
[20]Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and will open the door, I will enter unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |
| [21]And the overcomer I shall give to him to sit with Me on throne My just as I have overcome and I sit with My Father on throne His |
[21]And to him who overcometh I will give to sit with me upon my throne, as also I have overcome, and have sat with my Father in his throne. |
| [22]Whoever has to him an ear let him hear what The Spirit speaks to the assemblies |
[22]He who hath ears, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. |
