[1]And when He opened the seal seventh was stillness in Heaven as a half hour |
[1]AND when he had opened the SEVENTH SEAL, silence was in heaven, as the dividing of an hour. |
[2]And I saw seven angels those who before Alaha standing were whom were given to them seven trumpets |
[2]And I saw the seven angels who stood before Aloha, and there were given to them SEVEN TRUMPETS. |
[3]Another angel came and he stood over the altar and is to him a censer of gold and was given to him incense much to offer with the prayers of all the holy ones on the altar that before The Throne |
[3]And another angel came, and stood at the altar, and he had a censer of gold, and many perfumes were given to him, which he should give with the prayers of all saints upon the altar of gold that is before the throne; |
[4]And went up the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the holy ones from the hand of the angel before Alaha |
[4]And the cloudⓘ of the perfumes of the prayers of the saints ascended from the hand of the angel before Aloha. |
[5]And took the angel the censer and filled it from the fire that upon the altar and cast over The Earth and there were thunders and voices and lightnings and earthquakes |
[5]And the angel took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast forth upon the earth. And there were thunders, and lightnings, and voices, and movement. |
[6]Seven angels with whom seven the trumpets prepared themselves to sound |
[6]And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared them to sound. |
[7]And the first sounded and there was hail and fire that were mixed with water and were cast on Earth and a third of The Earth burned and a third of trees burned and all grass of The Earth burned |
[7]And the First sounded. And there was hail, and fire mingled with the waters, and they were cast upon the earth; and the third of the earth burned, and the third of the trees burned, and every green herb burned. |
[8]And the second sounded and there was as a mountain great burning fell in the sea and became a third of the sea blood |
[8]And the Second angel sounded. And as a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third of the sea also became blood. |
[9]And died a third of every creature that was in the sea that is in it breath and a third of ships was destroyed |
[9]And the third of all creatures which were in the sea, which had lives, died, and the third of the ships were destroyed. |
[10]And the third sounded and fell from the sky a star great burning like a blaze and it fell on a third of rivers and upon springs of water |
[10]And the Third angel sounded. And there fell from heaven a star burning as a lamp, and it fell upon the third of the rivers, and upon fountains of waters. |
[11]And the name of the star is called Apsythna and became a third of the water as Wormwood and a multitude of children of men died because were made bitter the waters |
[11]And the name of the star is called Aphsinthos; and the third of the waters became bitterness, and many men died from the waters because they were bitter. |
[12]And the fourth sounded and devoured a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars and they became dark a third and the day not appeared a third and the night likewise |
[12]And the Fourth angel sounded. And the third of the sun was absorbed, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, as that the third of them should be darkened; and they were darkened, and the day shone not a third of it, and the night, in like manner. |
[13]And I heard an eagle one flying in the sky that said woe! woe! woe! to the inhabitants of The Earth from the sound of the trumpets of three angels who are going to sound |
[13]And I beheld, and heard an eagle,ⓘ flying in the midst, having a tail of blood,ⓘ saying with a great voice, Woe, woe, to those who dwell upon earth, from the voice of the rest of the trumpets of the three angels which are about to sound! |
