[IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD AND OUR ALOHA JESHU MESHIHA, WE WRITE THE FOURTEEN EPISTLES OF PAULOS THE APOSTLE OF OUR LORD JESHU MESHIHA.]
[1]Paul the seruaunt of Iesus Christe, called [to be] an Apostle, seuered into the Gospel of God [1]PAULOS, a servant of Jeshu Meshiha, called, and an apostle, who hath been separated unto the gospel of Aloha,
[2]Which he had promised afore by his prophetes in ye holy scripture [2]Which from of old he had promised by the hand of the prophets, in the holy writings,
[3]Of his sonne, which was made of the seede of Dauid after the fleshe [3]Concerning his Son, who was born, according to the flesh, of the seed of the house of David,
[4]And hath ben declared to be the sonne of God, with power after the spirite that sanctifieth, by the resurrectio from the dead, of Iesus Christe our Lorde [4]And is known [to be] the Son of Aloha by power, and by the Holy Spirit, who raised him from among the dead, Jeshu Meshiha our Lord:
[5]By whom we haue receaued grace and apostleship, that obedience myght be geuen vnto the fayth in his name, among all heathen [5]By whom we have received grace and apostleship among all nations, that they should become obedient unto the faith of his name:
[6]Among whom, ye are also the called of Iesus Christe [6]And you also are of them, called in Jeshu Meshiha:
[7]To all that be in Rome, beloued of God, saintes by callyng, grace to you, and peace, from God our father, and the Lorde Iesus Christe [7]To all who are in Ruma, beloved of Aloha, called and saints; peace and grace be with you from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
[8]First verily I thanke my God through Iesus Christe for you all, that your fayth is publisshed throughout all the worlde [8]First, I praise my God through Jeshu Meshiha on behalf of you all, that your faith is heard [of] in all the world.
[9]For God is my witnesse, whom I serue with my spirite in the Gospell of his sonne, that without ceassyng I make mention of you [9]For a witness unto me is Aloha, whom I serve in the spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing at all time I remember you in my prayers.
[10]Praying alwayes in my prayers, that by some meane at the last, one tyme or other, I myght take a prosperous iourney by the wyll of God, to come vnto you [10]And I pray that from now there may be opened unto me the way, by the will of Aloha, to come to you.
[11]For I long to see you, that I myght bestowe among you some spirituall gift, that ye myght be stablisshed [11]For I greatly desire to see you, and to impart to you the gift of the Spirit, that thereby you may be established,
[12]That is, that I might haue consolation together with you, eche with others fayth, yours and mine [12]And that together we may be comforted by your faith and mine.
[13]I woulde that ye should knowe brethren, howe that I haue oftentymes purposed to come vnto you ( and haue ben let hytherto,) that I myght haue some fruite also among you, as among other of the gentiles [13]BUT I will that you know, my brethren, that many times I have willed to come to you, and have been hindered until this; that among you also I may have fruit as among the rest of the nations
[14]I am debter both to the grekes, and to the barbarous, both to the wyse, and to the vnwise [14]Of the Javnoyee and Barbaroyee, the wise and the foolish, because to every man am I obligated to preach;
[15]So that as much as in me is, I am redy to preache the Gospell to you that are at Rome also [15]And so am I urged to evangelize unto you also who are in Ruma.
[16]For I am not ashamed of the Gospell of Christ, because it is the power of God vnto saluation to all that beleue, to the Iewe first, and also to the Greke [16]For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of Aloha for the salvation of all who believe in him, whether of the Jihudoyee first, or of the Aramoyee:
[17]For by it is the ryghteousnes of God opened fro fayth to fayth. As it is written: the iuste shall lyue by fayth [17]For the righteousness of Aloha in it is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, the righteous by faith shall live.
[18]For the wrath of God appeareth from heauen, against all vngodlynesse & vnrighteousnes of men, which withholde the trueth in vnrighteousnes [18]For the wrath of Aloha is revealed from heaven against all the unrighteousness and depravity of the sons of men, who the truth in unrighteousness detain.
[19]For that that may be knowen of God, is manifest among them, because God hath shewed it vnto them [19]Because the knowledge of Aloha is revealed in them; for Aloha revealed it in them.
[20]For his inuisible thinges, being vnderstanded by his workes, through the creation of the worlde, are seene, that is, both his eternall power and godhead: So that they are without excuse [20]For the occult things of Aloha from the foundations of the world, unto his creatures by intelligence are apparent, and his power and his Godhead eternal, that they may be without excuse.
[21]Because that when they knewe God, they glorified hym not as God, neither were thankefull, but waxed full of vanities in their imaginations, and their foolishe heart was blynded [21]For when they knew Aloha, they did not as Aloha glorify him and praise him, but became vain in their imaginations, and their heart was darkened, that they understood not.
[22]When they counted them selues wyse, they became fooles [22]And while thinking in themselves that they were wise, they were fools.
[23]And turned the glorie of the immortall God, vnto an image, made not only after the similitude of a mortal man, but also of birdes, and foure footed beastes, and of crepyng beastes [23]And they changed the glory of Aloha the Incorruptible into the likeness of the image of corruptible man, and into the likeness of birds and of four-footed [beasts] and of reptiles of the earth.
[24]Wherefore God gaue them vp to vncleanenesse, through the lustes of their owne heartes, to defyle their owne bodies among them selues [24]Because of this Aloha delivered them up to the unclean lusts of their hearts, that they would debase their bodies among them.
[25]Whiche chaunged his trueth for a lye, and worshipped and serued the creature, more then the creator, which is to be praysed for euer. Amen [25]And they changed the truth of Aloha into a lie, and worshipped and served the creatures rather than their Creator, to whom be praises and blessings for ever and ever. Amen.
[26]Wherefore God gaue them vp vnto shamefull lustes: For euen their women dyd chaunge the naturall vse, into that which is agaynst nature [26]WHEREFORE Aloha delivered them up to passions of vileness: for their females changed the use of their nature, and to what is not natural were used.
[27]And likewise also, the men left the naturall vse of the woman, and brent in their lustes one with another, and men with men wrought fylthynesse, and receaued to them selues the rewarde of their errour (as it was accordyng [27]And also their males likewise left the natural use of their females, and were inflamed with concupiscence one with another, and male with male wrought shamefulness, and the just retribution for their perverseness in themselves received.
[28]And as they regarded not to knowe God: euen so God deliuered them vp vnto a leude mynde, that they should do those thinges which were not comely [28]And as they did not decide in themselves to know Aloha, so did Aloha cause them to be delivered up to a mind of vainness, and to do what is not fit;
[29]Beyng full of all vnrighteousnes, fornication, craftynesse, couetousnes, maliciousnes, full of enuie, murther, debate, deceite, euyll conditioned, whysperers [29]Being filled with all wickedness, and uncleanness, and rancour, and malice, and rapacity, and envy, and murder, and contention, and deceit, and evil imaginings,
[30]Backbyters, haters of God, dispiteful, proude, boasters, bryngers vp of euyll thinges, disobedient to father & mother [30]And murmurings, and slanders, and hating of Aloha: vilifiers, inflated ones, boasters, inventors of evil things, mindless, disobedient to parents,
[31]Without vnderstandyng, couenaunt breakers, without naturall affection, truice breakers, vnmercyfull [31][Men] to whom a compact is nothing, and [who] neither love peace nor [have] mercy in them;
[32]The whiche knowyng the righteousnes of God, howe that they which commit such thynges are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also haue pleasure in them that do them [32]Who, knowing the judgment of Aloha, that they who these things do, unto death are condemned, [yet] not only do them, but also participate with those who do them.
