Peshitta NT (literal)
PesNT(lit)
Peshitta NT (Etheridge, 1849)
PesNT(Eth)
[1]We are indebted therefore we the strong the infirmities of the weak to bear and not ourselves to please [1]WE then, the strong, are obligated to bear up the infirmities of the weak, and not ourselves to please.
[2]But each of us his neighbor let us please with good as for edification [2]But let every one of us please his neighbour in good things as unto edification.
[3]Because that also The Messiah not was Himself pleasing but according to what is written "the reproach" of Your revilers fell on Me [3]Because the Meshiha also pleased not himself; but as it is written, the reproach of thy reproachers hath fallen upon me.
[4]Every thing for that from ancient times has been written for teaching is our has been written that by patience and by comfort of the scriptures hope shall be to us [4]For every thing that hath before been written for our instruction was written, that by the patience and consolation of the scriptures we might have hope.
[5]Alaha but of patience and comfort might give to you that with equality you may value one with another in Ieshu The Messiah [5]But the God of patience and of consolation give to you that with impartiality you may think one of another in Jeshu Meshiha,
[6]That with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify to Alaha The Father of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [6]That with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
[7]Because of this you shall accept and bear with each one just as that also The Messiah has accepted you to the glory of Alaha [7]Therefore, receive and bear with one another, as also the Meshiha hath received you, to the glory of Aloha.
[8]Say I but that Ieshu The Messiah ministered to the circumcision for the sake of the truth of Alaha so as to confirm the promise of the fathers [8]But I say that Jeshu Meshiha ministered [to] the circumcision, on behalf of the truth of Aloha, that he might confirm the promise of the fathers,
[9]And the nations shall glorify to Alaha for the sake of the mercies that have been upon them as that is written "I shall give thanks to You with the nations and to Your Name" I shall sing praise [9]And the Gentiles might glorify Aloha for his mercy that was upon them. As it is written, I will confess thee among the Gentiles, and to thy name will I sing.
[10]And again it says be delighted you nations with His people [10]And again he hath said, be glad, ye Gentiles, with his people.
[11]And again it says praise to the Lord all of you nations praise Him all people [11]And again he hath said, praise the Lord, all [ye] Gentiles; let all peoples praise him.
[12]And again Isaiah said that there shall be a root of Jesse and Who to rise shall be the Ruler for the nations and upon Him shall hope the nations [12]And again, Eshaia hath said, there shall be a root of Jeshai, and he who shall arise shall be the chief of the peoples; and upon him will the Gentiles hope.
[13]The Alaha but of hope shall fill you with all joy and peace by faith that you shall superabound in His hope by the power of The Spirit of Holiness [13]But the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, through faith, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Spirit of Holiness.
[14]Convinced I but also am about you my brethren that also you filled are with what is good and you are full with all knowledge and able you are also others to instruct [14]BUT I am persuaded also concerning you, my brethren, that you are also full of good, and filled with all knowledge, and able also to instruct others.
[15]A little but boldly I have written to you my brethren so as to remind you by grace that is given to me from Alaha [15]But I have somewhat boldly written to you, my brethren, as that I may put you in remembrance, through the grace which is given to me from Aloha,
[16]That I may be a minister to Ieshu The Messiah among the nations and I may labor for the Gospel of Alaha that may be the offering of the nations is accepted and is sanctified by The Spirit of Holiness [16]To be a minister of Jeshu Meshiha among the Gentiles, and to labour in the gospel of Aloha, that there may be an oblation of the Gentiles, acceptable and holy through the Spirit of Holiness.
[17]Is to me therefore pride in Ieshu The Messiah to Alaha [17]I have, then, exultation in Jeshu Meshiha with Aloha.
[18]Not for dare I to say anything that not has done by me The Messiah for the audience of the nations by word and by works [18]For I dare not speak any thing which the Meshiha hath not done by my hands, unto the obedience of the Gentiles, in word and in deeds,
[19]By the power of signs and of wonders and by the power of The Spirit of Alaha just as that from Jerusalem I have gone around until Eluriqone and I have fulfilled the Gospel of The Messiah [19]With the power of signs and miracles, and with the power of the Spirit of Aloha; as that I have itinerated from Urishlem unto Illyrikum, to fulfil the preaching of Meshiha;
[20]While take pains I I shall preach the Good News not where is invoked the Name of The Messiah lest I build on a foundation unusual [20]Being anxious to preach, not where the name of Meshiha had been called, that I might not build upon another foundation,
[21]But just as that is written "those whom not it was told to whom about Him they shall see Him and those who not have heard they shall be convinced" [21]But as it is written, They to whom it hath not been told of him, they shall see him; and they who have not heard shall be persuaded.
[22]Because of this I was hindered times many when I would come to you [22]On this account I have been hindered many times when I would have come to you.
[23]Now but because a place there is not to me in these regions and desiring I was from before years many to come to you [23]But now, because I have no place in these countries, and have desired for many years to come to you,
[24]When go I to Espania hope I to come and to see you and you you will accompany me there when a few of many I shall have been delighted with seeing you [24]When I go into Ispania, I hope to come and see you; and you shall lead me thitherward, when I shall in some measure have been gladdened with the sight of you.
[25]Now but go I to Jerusalem to minister to the saints [25]But now I go to Urishlem to minister to the saints.
[26]Were willing for these who are in Maqedonia and in Akaia that a sharing there will be to them with the poor saints who are in Jerusalem [26]For they in Makedunia and in Akaia have desired that a communication should be made from themselves with the poor and the saints who are at Urishlem.
[27]They were willing because that also they are indebted to them if for in the spiritual they had been made partners with them the nations indebted are that also in the physical they should serve them [27]They have desired [this], because they also are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have participated with them in the Spirit, they are indebted to serve them in the flesh.
[28]This therefore when I have finished and I have ratified to them fruit this pass I by you to Espania [28]This, then, when I have accomplished, and have sealed to them this fruit, I [intend to] pass by you into Ispania.
[29]Know I but that when come I to you in fullness that of the blessing of the gospel of The Messiah shall come I [29]And I know that when I come to you, with the plenitude of the blessing of the gospel of Meshiha I [shall] come.
[30]Beg I but of you my brethren by our Lord Ieshu The Messiah and by the love of The Spirit that you labor with me in prayer for me to Alaha [30]Now I entreat of you, my brethren, by our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and by the love of the Spirit, to labour with me in prayer on my behalf, with Aloha,
[31]That I be delivered from those who not are obedient who are in Judea and the ministry that bring I to the saints who are in Jerusalem would be received well [31]That I may be delivered from them who believe not in Jihud, and [that] the service which I bear to the saints may be well received,
[32]And I shall come to you in joy in the will of Alaha and I shall be refreshed with you [32]And I may come to you with joy in the will of Aloha, and be rested with you.
[33]Alaha but of peace be with all of you Amen [33]The God of peace be with all of you. Amen.
