Peshitta NT (Murdock, 1852)
PesNT(Mur)
[1]We are indebted therefore we the strong the infirmities of the weak to bear and not ourselves to please [1]We then who are strong, ought to bear the infirmity of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
[2]But each of us his neighbor let us please with good as for edification [2]But each of us should please his neighbor, in good things, as conducive to edification.
[3]Because that also The Messiah not was Himself pleasing but according to what is written "the reproach" of Your revilers fell on Me [3]Because Messiah also did not please himself; but, as it is written: The reviling of thy revilers fell upon me.
[4]Every thing for that from ancient times has been written for teaching is our has been written that by patience and by comfort of the scriptures hope shall be to us [4]For every thing written of old, was written for our instruction; that we, by patience and by the consolation of the scriptures, might possess hope.
[5]Alaha but of patience and comfort might give to you that with equality you may value one with another in Ieshu The Messiah [5]And may the God of patience and of consolation, grant to you, to think in harmony one with another, in Jesus Messiah;
[6]That with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify to Alaha The Father of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah [6]so that with one mind and one mouth, ye may glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Messiah.
[7]Because of this you shall accept and bear with each one just as that also The Messiah has accepted you to the glory of Alaha [7]Wherefore, receive ye and bear up one another, as also Messiah received you, to the glory of God.
[8]Say I but that Ieshu The Messiah ministered to the circumcision for the sake of the truth of Alaha so as to confirm the promise of the fathers [8]Now I say, that Jesus Messiah ministered to the circumcision, in behalf of the truth of God, in order to confirm the promise [made] to the fathers;
[9]And the nations shall glorify to Alaha for the sake of the mercies that have been upon them as that is written "I shall give thanks to You with the nations and to Your Name" I shall sing praise [9]and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercies upon them, as it is written: I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and to thy name will I sing psalms.
[10]And again it says be delighted you nations with His people [10]And again he said: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
[11]And again it says praise to the Lord all of you nations praise Him all people [11]And again he said: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; [and] laud him, all ye nations.
[12]And again Isaiah said that there shall be a root of Jesse and Who to rise shall be the Ruler for the nations and upon Him shall hope the nations [12]And again Isaiah said: There will be a root of Jesse; and he that shall arise, will be a prince for the Gentiles; and in him will the Gentiles hope.
[13]The Alaha but of hope shall fill you with all joy and peace by faith that you shall superabound in His hope by the power of The Spirit of Holiness [13]Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, by faith; that ye may abound in his hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
[14]Convinced I but also am about you my brethren that also you filled are with what is good and you are full with all knowledge and able you are also others to instruct [14]Now I am persuaded, my Brethren, even I, concerning you; that ye too are full of goodness, and are replenished with all knowledge, and are able also to instruct others.
[15]A little but boldly I have written to you my brethren so as to remind you by grace that is given to me from Alaha [15]Yet I have written rather boldly to you, my Brethren, that I might put you in remembrance; because of the grace which is given to me by God,
[16]That I may be a minister to Ieshu The Messiah among the nations and I may labor for the Gospel of Alaha that may be the offering of the nations is accepted and is sanctified by The Spirit of Holiness [16]that I should be a minister of Jesus Messiah among the Gentiles, and should subserve the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles might be acceptable, and be sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
[17]Is to me therefore pride in Ieshu The Messiah to Alaha [17]I have therefore a glorying in Jesus Messiah, before God.
[18]Not for dare I to say anything that not has done by me The Messiah for the audience of the nations by word and by works [18]Yet I presume not to speak of any thing [done] for the obedience of the Gentiles, which Messiah hath not wrought by me, in word and in deeds,
[19]By the power of signs and of wonders and by the power of The Spirit of Alaha just as that from Jerusalem I have gone around until Eluriqone and I have fulfilled the Gospel of The Messiah [19]by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem I have made a circuit quite to Illyricum, and have fulfilled the announcement of the Messiah;
[20]While take pains I I shall preach the Good News not where is invoked the Name of The Messiah lest I build on a foundation unusual [20]while I was careful not to preach where the name of Messiah had been invoked, lest I should build upon another man's foundation;
[21]But just as that is written "those whom not it was told to whom about Him they shall see Him and those who not have heard they shall be convinced" [21]but, it is written: They, to whom mention of him had not been made, will see him; and they, who had not heard, will be obedient.
[22]Because of this I was hindered times many when I would come to you [22]And on this account, I have been many times prevented from coming to you.
[23]Now but because a place there is not to me in these regions and desiring I was from before years many to come to you [23]But now, since I have no place in these regions, and as I have been desirous for many years past to come to you,
[24]When go I to Espania hope I to come and to see you and you you will accompany me there when a few of many I shall have been delighted with seeing you [24]when I go to Spain, I hope to come and see you; and that ye will accompany me thither, when I shall have been satisfied, in some measure, with visiting you.
[25]Now but go I to Jerusalem to minister to the saints [25]But I am now going to Jerusalem, to minister to the saints.
[26]Were willing for these who are in Maqedonia and in Akaia that a sharing there will be to them with the poor saints who are in Jerusalem [26]For they of Macedonia and Achaia, have been willing to make up a contribution for the needy saints who are at Jerusalem.
[27]They were willing because that also they are indebted to them if for in the spiritual they had been made partners with them the nations indebted are that also in the physical they should serve them [27]They were willing, because they were also debtors to them: for if the Gentiles have been participators with them in the Spirit, they are debtors to serve them also in things of the flesh.
[28]This therefore when I have finished and I have ratified to them fruit this pass I by you to Espania [28]When therefore, I shall have accomplished this, and shall have sealed to them this fruit, I will pass by you into Spain.
[29]Know I but that when come I to you in fullness that of the blessing of the gospel of The Messiah shall come I [29]And I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Messiah.
[30]Beg I but of you my brethren by our Lord Ieshu The Messiah and by the love of The Spirit that you labor with me in prayer for me to Alaha [30]And I beseech you, my Brethren, by our Lord Jesus Messiah, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye labor with me in prayer to God for me;
[31]That I be delivered from those who not are obedient who are in Judea and the ministry that bring I to the saints who are in Jerusalem would be received well [31]that I may be delivered from them in Judaea, who believe not and that the ministration, which I carry to the saints in Jerusalem, may be well received;
[32]And I shall come to you in joy in the will of Alaha and I shall be refreshed with you [32]and that, by the good pleasure of God, I may come to you with joy, and may take comfort with you.
[33]Alaha but of peace be with all of you Amen [33]And may the God of peace be with you all: Amen.
