[1]Therefore being iustified by fayth, we are at peace with god, thorowe our Lorde Iesus Christe |
[1]BECAUSE, then, we are justified by faith, we have peace with Aloha through our Lord Jeshu Meshiha. |
[2]By whom also we haue had an entrauce by fayth, vnto this grace wherin we stande, and reioyce in hope of the glorie of God |
[2]And by him we have been admitted through faith into this grace in which we stand, and exult in hope of the glory of Aloha. |
[3]Not that only: but also we reioyce in tribulations, knowyng that tribulation worketh pacience |
[3]And not thus only, but also in afflictions we exult; for we know that affliction perfecteth patience in us, |
[4]Pacience profe, profe hope |
[4]And patience experience,ⓘ and experience hope: |
[5]And hope maketh not ashamed, because the loue of God is shedde abrode in our heartes by the holy ghost, which is geuen vnto vs |
[5]But hope maketh us not ashamed, because the love of Aloha is shed forth upon our hearts by the Spirit of Holiness who is given to us. |
[6]For when we were yet weake, accordyng to the tyme, Christe dyed for the vngodly |
[6]But if the Meshiha on account of our infirmity in this time for the wicked hath died: |
[7]Nowe scace wyll any man dye for the righteous: Yet peraduenture for the good some men durst dye |
[7]For hardly for the wicked one dieth; for on account of the good one may perhaps dare to die. |
[8]But God setteth out his loue towarde vs, seyng that whyle we were yet sinners, Christe dyed for vs |
[8]Nevertheless Aloha hath manifested his love for us, in that, when we were sinners, the Meshiha for us died: |
[9]Muche more then nowe, we that are iustified by his blood, shalbe saued from wrath through hym |
[9]How much more, then, shall we be now justified through his blood, and by him be delivered from wrath? |
[10]For, yf when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his sonne: much more, seyng we are reconciled, we shalbe saued by his lyfe |
[10]For if, while we were adversaries, Aloha was reconciled with us through the death of his Son, how much more, then, in reconciliation with him,ⓘ shall we be saved by his life? |
[11]Not only so, but we also ioye in God, through our Lorde Iesus Christe, by who we haue nowe receaued the atonement |
[11]And not thus only, but we also exult in Aloha through our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, by whom we have now received the reconciliation. |
[12]Wherfore, as by one man sinne entred into the worlde, & death by sinne: euen so, death entred into all men, insomuch as all haue sinned |
[12]As by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death, so death hath passed upon all men through this, that all have sinned. |
[13]For vnto the lawe, was sinne in the worlde: but sinne is not imputed when there is no lawe |
[13]For until the law, sin, while it was in the world, was not reckoned sin, because the law was not; |
[14]Neuerthelesse, death raigned from Adam to Moyses, ouer them also that had not sinned with lyke transgression as dyd Adam, whiche is the figure of hym that was to come |
[14]Yet death reigned from Adam until Musha on them also who had not sinned after the manner of the transgression of the law of Adam, who was the type of him who was to be. |
[15]But not as the sinne, so is the gyft. For yf through the sinne of one many be dead: much more the grace of God, and the gyft by grace, which is by one man Iesus Christe, hath abounded vnto many |
[15]But not as was the fall, so is the gift; for if, on account of the fall of one, many died, how much more the grace of Aloha, and his gift, for the sake of one man, Jeshu Meshiha, in many will abound? |
[16]And not as by one that sinned [euen so] the gyft. For the iudgement was of one into condemnation: but the gyfte, of many sinnes into iustification |
[16]And not as the transgression of one, so is the gift; for the judgment that was by one was unto condemnation, but the gift [which saves] from many sins was unto righteousness. |
[17]For yf by the sinne of one, death raigned by the meanes of one: much more they, whiche receaue aboundaunce of grace, and of the gyfte of ryghteousnes, shall raigne in life by the meanes of one, Iesus Christe |
[17]For if because of the transgression of one death was made to reign, much more [shall] they who receive the abundance of the grace and of the gift and of righteousness, reign in life by one, Jeshu Meshiha. |
[18]Lykewyse then, as by the sinne of one [sinne came] on all men to condempnation: euen so, by the ryghteousnes of one [good came] vpon all men to the ryghteousnes of lyfe |
[18]As then on account of the transgression of one was the condemnation of all men, so, on account of the righteousness of one shall there be acquittalⓘ unto the life of all men. |
[19]For as by one mans disobedience many became sinners: so by the obedience of one, shall many be made ryghteous |
[19]For as on account of the disobedience of one man many became sinners, so also on account of the obedience of one many became righteous. |
[20]But the lawe in the meane tyme entred in, that sinne shoulde encrease. But where sinne was plenteous, grace was more plenteous |
[20]But the entrance which was of the law, [made] sin to increase; and where sin increased, there grace hath abounded: |
[21]That as sinne hath raigned vnto death: euen so myght grace raigne thorowe ryghteousnes vnto eternall lyfe, by Iesus Christe our Lorde |
[21]That as sin hath reigned in death, so grace might reign in righteousness unto the life which is eternal, by the hand of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha. |
