[1]Ἀλήθειαν λέγω ἐν Χριστῷ, οὐ ψεύδομαι, συμμαρτυρούσης μοι τῆς συνειδήσεώς μου ἐν Πνεύματι ῾Αγίῳ, |
[1]The truth say I in The Messiah and not lie I and my conscience testifies to me in The Spirit of Holiness |
[2]ὅτι λύπη μοί ἐστι μεγάλη καὶ ἀδιάλειπτος ὀδύνη τῇ καρδίᾳ μου. |
[2]Sorrow that to me great and affliction that is from my heart not ceases |
[3]ηὐχόμην γὰρ αὐτὸς ἐγὼ ἀνάθεμα εἶναι ἀπὸ τοῦ Χριστοῦ ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀδελφῶν μου, τῶν συγγενῶν μου κατὰ σάρκα, |
[3]Praying I have been for that I my essential self destroyed may be from The Messiah for the sake of my brothers and my kinsmen who are in the flesh |
[4]οἵτινές εἰσιν ᾿Ισραηλῖται, ὧν ἡ υἱοθεσία καὶ ἡ δόξα καὶ αἱ διαθῆκαι καὶ ἡ νομοθεσία καὶ ἡ λατρεία καὶ αἱ ἐπαγγελίαι, |
[4]Who are the children of Israel whose was the placement of children and the glory and the covenant and The Written Law and the ministry which is in it and the promises |
[5]ὧν οἱ πατέρες, καὶ ἐξ ὧν ὁ Χριστὸς τὸ κατὰ σάρκα, ὁ ὢν ἐπὶ πάντων Θεὸς εὐλογητὸς εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας· ἀμήν. |
[5]And the patriarchs and from them appeared The Messiah in the flesh Who is The Alaha Who is over all to Whom are praises and blessings to the eternity of eternities Amen |
[6]Οὐχ οἷον δὲ ὅτι ἐκπέπτωκεν ὁ λόγος τοῦ Θεοῦ. οὐ γὰρ πάντες οἱ ἐξ ᾿Ισραήλ, οὗτοι ᾿Ισραήλ, |
[6]Not it was but to fail had failed the word of Alaha not it was for all of them who from Israel are Israel |
[7]οὐδ᾿ ὅτι εἰσὶ σπέρμα ᾿Αβραάμ, πάντες τέκνα, ἀλλ᾿ ἐν ᾿Ισαὰκ κληθήσεταί σοι σπέρμα· |
[7]Neither because that from his seed are they of Abraham all of them children because it was said that in Isaaq shall be called to you the seed |
[8]τοῦτ᾿ ἔστιν οὐ τὰ τέκνα τῆς σαρκὸς ταῦτα τέκνα τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἀλλὰ τὰ τέκνα τῆς ἐπαγγελίας λογίζεται εἰς σπέρμα. |
[8]This is but not that it were the children of the flesh are the children of Alaha but the children of the promise are accounted for the seed |
[9]ἐπαγγελίας γὰρ ὁ λόγος οὗτος· κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν τοῦτον ἐλεύσομαι καὶ ἔσται τῇ Σάρρᾳ υἱός. |
[9]The promise for is word this that in time this one will come and there will be a son to Sara |
[10]οὐ μόνον δέ, ἀλλὰ καὶ ῾Ρεβέκκα ἐξ ἑνὸς κοίτην ἔχουσα, ᾿Ισαὰκ τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν· |
[10]And not this only but also Rebecca when with one our father Isaaq it was to her conjugal relations |
[11]μήπω γὰρ γεννηθέντων μηδὲ πραξάντων τι ἀγαθὸν ἢ κακόν, ἵνα ἡ κατ᾿ ἐκλογὴν τοῦ Θεοῦ πρόθεσις μένῃ, οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων, ἀλλ᾿ ἐκ τοῦ καλοῦντος, |
[11]Before would be born her children or they would do good or evil was before revealed the choice of Alaha that this would abide not by works but by Him Who called |
[12]ἐρρέθη αὐτῇ ὅτι ὁ μείζων δουλεύσει τῷ ἐλάσσονι, |

[13]καθὼς γέγραπται· τὸν ᾿Ιακὼβ ἠγάπησα, τὸν δὲ ᾿Ησαῦ ἐμίσησα. |
[13]As it is written Yaqob I have loved and Esau I have hated |
[14]Τί οὖν ἐροῦμεν; μὴ ἀδικία παρὰ τῷ Θεῷ; μὴ γένοιτο. |
[14]What therefore shall we say not evil is with Alaha? Alaha forbid! |
[15]τῷ γὰρ Μωϋσῇ λέγει· ἐλεήσω ὃν ἂν ἐλεῶ, καὶ οἰκτειρήσω ὃν ἂν οἰκτείρω. |
[15]Behold also to Moses He said I shall show love on whomever love I and I shall take pity on whomever pity I |
[16]ἄρα οὖν οὐ τοῦ θέλοντος οὐδὲ τοῦ τρέχοντος, ἀλλὰ τοῦ ἐλεοῦντος Θεοῦ. |
[16]Not therefore by means of him who wills neither by means of him who runs but in the hand of Alaha The Merciful |
[17]λέγει γὰρ ἡ γραφὴ τῷ Φαραὼ ὅτι εἰς αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἐξήγειρά σε, ὅπως ἐνδείξωμαι ἐν σοὶ τὴν δύναμίν μου, καὶ ὅπως διαγγελῇ τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ. |
[17]He said for in the scriptures to Pharaoh for this I raised you up that I may show with you My power and that may be declared My Name in the earth whole |
[18]ἄρα οὖν ὃν θέλει ἐλεεῖ, ὃν δὲ θέλει σκληρύνει. |
[18]So then on whomever He will He shows compassion and whomever He will He hardens |
[19]᾿Ερεῖς οὖν μοι· τί ἔτι μέμφεται; τῷ γὰρ βουλήματι αὐτοῦ τίς ἀνθέστηκε; |
[19]And doubtless you will say why? does He find fault who is it? for who stands against His will |
[20]μενοῦνγε, ὦ ἄνθρωπε, σὺ τίς εἶ ὁ ἀνταποκρινόμενος τῷ Θεῷ; μὴ ἐρεῖ τὸ πλάσμα τῷ πλάσαντι, τί με ἐποίησας οὕτως; |
[20]You therefore who? are O' son of man that an answer to Alaha give you not does say the thing formed to the one who formed it why in this way have you formed me? |
[21]ἢ οὐκ ἔχει ἐξουσίαν ὁ κεραμεὺς τοῦ πηλοῦ, ἐκ τοῦ αὐτοῦ φυράματος ποιῆσαι ὃ μὲν εἰς τιμὴν σκεῦος, ὃ δὲ εἰς ἀτιμίαν; |
[21]Or not is authorized a potter over clay that from it some formed things he will make vessel one for honor and one for disgrace? |
[22]εἰ δὲ θέλων ὁ Θεὸς ἐνδείξασθαι τὴν ὀργὴν καὶ γνωρίσαι τὸ δυνατὸν αὐτοῦ ἤνεγκεν ἐν πολλῇ μακροθυμίᾳ σκεύη ὀργῆς κατηρτισμένα εἰς ἀπώλειαν; |
[22]If but was willing Alaha to show His rage and to reveal His power He brought in a multitude of long His Spirit rage against vessels of rage that were perfected for destruction |
[23]καὶ ἵνα γνωρίσῃ τὸν πλοῦτον τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ σκεύη ἐλέους, – ἃ προητοίμασεν εἰς δόξαν; |
[23]And overflows His love on vessels of compassion that prepared were for Alaha for glory |
[24]οὓς καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ἡμᾶς οὐ μόνον ἐξ ᾿Ιουδαίων, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐξ ἐθνῶν, |
[24]For we are we called not is it only from the Jews but also from the nations |
[25]ὡς καὶ ἐν τῷ ῾Ωσηὲ λέγει· καλέσω τὸν οὐ λαόν μου λαόν μου, καὶ τὴν οὐκ ἠγαπημένην ἠγαπημένην· |
[25]Just as that also in Hosea it says I shall call those who not were My people people My and who not were beloved beloved |
[26]καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ τόπῳ οὗ ἐρρέθη αὐτοῖς, οὐ λαός μου ὑμεῖς, ἐκεῖ κληθήσονται υἱοὶ Θεοῦ ζῶντος. |
[26]It shall be for in the place where being called they were not My people there they shall be called children to The Alaha Living |
[27]῾Ησαΐας δὲ κράζει ὑπὲρ τοῦ ᾿Ισραήλ· ἐὰν ᾖ ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραὴλ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τῆς θαλάσσης, τὸ κατάλειμμα σωθήσεται· |
[27]Isaiah but preached against the children of Israel that if shall be the number of the children of Israel as the sand of the sea a remnant of them shall be saved |
[28]λόγον γὰρ συντελῶν καὶ συντέμνων ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ, ὅτι λόγον συντετμημένον ποιήσει Κύριος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. |
[28]The matter He has cut short and has cut off and shall do it the Lord upon the earth |
[29]καὶ καθὼς προείρηκεν ῾Ησαΐας, εἰ μὴ Κύριος Σαβαὼθ ἐγκατέλιπεν ἡμῖν σπέρμα, ὡς Σόδομα ἂν ἐγενήθημεν καὶ ὡς Γόμορρα ἂν ὡμοιώθημεν. |
[29]And as what before said he Isaiah if not the Lord of hosts had left us survivors as Sodom been we would have and Amora like we were |
[30]Τί οὖν ἐροῦμεν; ὅτι ἔθνη τὰ μὴ διώκοντα δικαιοσύνην κατέλαβε δικαιοσύνην, δικαιοσύνην δὲ τὴν ἐκ πίστεως, |
[30]What? therefore shall we say that the nations who not running were after righteousness have obtained the righteousness the righteousness but which that from faith is |
[31]᾿Ισραὴλ δὲ διώκων νόμον δικαιοσύνης εἰς νόμον δικαιοσύνης οὐκ ἔφθασε. |
[31]Israel but that run had after The Written Law of righteousness the Law of righteousness not obtained |
[32]διατί; ὅτι οὐκ ἐκ πίστεως, ἀλλ᾿ ὡς ἐξ ἔργων νόμου· προσέκοψαν γὰρ τῷ λίθῳ τοῦ προσκόμματος, |
[32]Because of what? because that not it was from faith but from the works of The Written Law they were stumbled for at the Stone of stumbling |
[33]καθὼς γέγραπται· ἰδοὺ τίθημι ἐν Σιὼν λίθον προσκόμματος καὶ πέτραν σκανδάλου, καὶ πᾶς ὁ πιστεύων ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ οὐ καταισχυνθήσεται. |
[33]As that is written that behold have laid down I in Tsion a Stone of stumbling and a Stone of offense and whoever in Him will believe not will be ashamed |
