| [2]וָאֹמַר אֶל־הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי מָה־אֵלֶּה וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי אֵלֶּה הַקְּרָנֹות אֲשֶׁר זֵרוּ אֶת־יְהוּדָה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל וִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ |
[2]Then saidH559[H8799] I, Whither goestH1980[H8802] thou? And he saidH559[H8799] unto me, To measureH4058[H8800] JerusalemH3389, to seeH7200[H8800] whatH4100 is the breadthH7341 thereof, and what is the length thereofH753. |
| [3]וַיַּרְאֵנִי יְהוָה אַרְבָּעָה חָרָשִׁים׃ |
[3]And, behold, the angelH4397 that talkedH1696[H8802] with me went forthH3318[H8802], and anotherH312 angelH4397 went outH3318[H8802] to meetH7125 himH8800, |
| [4]וָאֹמַר מָה אֵלֶּה בָאִים לַעֲשֹׂות וַיֹּאמֶר לֵאמֹר אֵלֶּה הַקְּרָנֹות אֲשֶׁר־זֵרוּ אֶת־יְהוּדָה כְּפִי־אִישׁ לֹא־נָשָׂא רֹאשֹׁו וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵלֶּה לְהַחֲרִיד אֹתָם לְיַדֹּות אֶת־קַרְנֹות הַגֹּויִם הַנֹּשְׂאִים קֶרֶן אֶל־אֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה לְזָרֹותָהּ׃ |
[4]And saidH559[H8799] unto him, RunH7323[H8798], speakH1696[H8761] to thisH1975 young manH5288, sayingH559[H8800], JerusalemH3389 shall be inhabitedH3427[H8799] as towns without wallsH6519 for the multitudeH7230 of menH120 and cattleH929 thereinH8432: |
| [5]וָאֶשָּׂא עֵינַי וָאֵרֶא וְהִנֵּה־אִישׁ וּבְיָדֹו חֶבֶל מִדָּה׃ |
[5]For I, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068, will be unto her a wallH2346 of fireH784 round aboutH5439, and will be the gloryH3519 in the midst of herH8432. |
| [6]וָאֹמַר אָנָה אַתָּה הֹלֵךְ וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי לָמֹד אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִַם לִרְאֹות כַּמָּה־רָחְבָּהּ וְכַמָּה אָרְכָּהּ׃ |
[6]HoH1945, hoH1945, come forth, and fleeH5127[H8798] from the landH776 of the northH6828, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068: for I have spread you abroadH6566[H8765] as the fourH702 windsH7307 of the heavenH8064, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068. |
| [7]וְהִנֵּה הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי יֹצֵא וּמַלְאָךְ אַחֵר יֹצֵא לִקְרָאתֹו׃ |
[7]DeliverH4422[H8734] thyself, OH1945 ZionH6726, that dwellestH3427[H8802] with the daughterH1323 of BabylonH894. |
| [8]וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָוק רֻץ דַּבֵּר אֶל־הַנַּעַר הַלָּז לֵאמֹר פְּרָזֹות תֵּשֵׁב יְרוּשָׁלִַם מֵרֹב אָדָם וּבְהֵמָה בְּתֹוכָהּ׃ |
[8]For thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635; AfterH310 the gloryH3519 hath he sentH7971[H8804] me unto the nationsH1471 which spoiledH7997[H8802] you: for he that touchethH5060[H8802] you touchethH5060[H8802] the appleH892 of his eyeH5869. |
| [9]וַאֲנִי אֶהְיֶה־לָּהּ נְאֻם־יְהוָה חֹומַת אֵשׁ סָבִיב וּלְכָבֹוד אֶהְיֶה בְתֹוכָהּ׃ |
[9]For, behold, I will shakeH5130[H8688] mine handH3027 upon them, and they shall be a spoilH7998 to their servantsH5647[H8802]: and ye shall knowH3045[H8804] that the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971 meH8804. |
| [10]הֹוי הֹוי וְנֻסוּ מֵאֶרֶץ צָפֹון נְאֻם־יְהוָה כִּי כְּאַרְבַּע רוּחֹות הַשָּׁמַיִם פֵּרַשְׂתִּי אֶתְכֶם נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
[10]SingH7442[H8798] and rejoiceH8055[H8798], O daughterH1323 of ZionH6726: for, lo, I comeH935[H8802], and I will dwellH7931[H8804] in the midstH8432 of thee, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068. |
| [11]הֹוי צִיֹּון הִמָּלְטִי יֹושֶׁבֶת בַּת־בָּבֶל׃ |
[11]And manyH7227 nationsH1471 shall be joinedH3867[H8738] to the LORDH3068 in that dayH3117, and shall be my peopleH5971: and I will dwellH7931[H8804] in the midstH8432 of thee, and thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] that the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971 me unto theeH8804. |
| [12]כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות אַחַר כָּבֹוד שְׁלָחַנִי אֶל־הַגֹּויִם הַשֹּׁלְלִים אֶתְכֶם כִּי הַנֹּגֵעַ בָּכֶם נֹגֵעַ בְּבָבַת עֵינֹו׃ |
[12]And the LORDH3068 shall inheritH5157[H8804] JudahH3063 his portionH2506 in the holyH6944 landH127, and shall chooseH977[H8804] Jerusalem againH3389. |
| [13]כִּי הִנְנִי מֵנִיף אֶת־יָדִי עֲלֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ שָׁלָל לְעַבְדֵיהֶם וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־יְהוָה צְבָאֹות שְׁלָחָנִי׃ |
[13]Be silentH2013[H8761], O all fleshH1320, beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: for he is raised upH5782[H8738] out of his holyH6944 habitationH4583. |
| [14]רָנִּי וְשִׂמְחִי בַּת־צִיֹּון כִּי הִנְנִי־בָא וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְתֹוךֵךְ נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃ |
