[1]And the word of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts came, saying: |
| [2]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ζηλόωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASF *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF καίC ὁRA-ASF *σιωνN--ASF ζῆλοςN2-ASM μέγαςA1P-ASM καίC θυμόςN2-DSM μέγαςA1-DSM ζηλόωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASF |
[2]'Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great fury. |
| [3]ὅδεRD-NPN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM καίD ἐπιστρέφωVF-FAI1S ἐπίP *σιωνN--ASF καίC κατασκηνόωVF-FAI1S ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN *ἰερουσαλήμN--GSF καίC καλέωVC-FPI3S ὁRA-NSF *ἰερουσαλήμN--NSF πόλιςN3I-NSF ὁRA-NSF ἀληθινόςA1-NSF καίC ὁRA-NSN ὄροςN3E-NSN κύριοςN2-GSM παντοκράτωρN3R-GSM ὄροςN3E-NSN ἅγιοςA1A-NSN |
[3]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: I return unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth; and mountain of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts The holy mountain. |
| [4]ὅδεRD-NPN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ἔτιD καταἵημιVF-FMI3P πρεσβύτεροςA1A-NPM καίC πρεσβύτεροςA1A-NPFC ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πλατύςA3U-DPF *ἰερουσαλήμN--GSF ἕκαστοςA1-NSM ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἔχωV1-PAPNSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀπόP πλῆθοςN3E-GSN ἡμέραN1A-GPF |
[4]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women sit in the broad places of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age. |
| [5]καίC ὁRA-NPF πλατύςA3U-NPF ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF πίμπλημιVS-FPI3P παιδάριονN2N-GPN καίC κοράσιονN2N-GPN παίζωV1-PAPGPN ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πλατύςA3U-DPF αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[5]And the broad places of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the broad places thereof. |
| [6]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM διότιC εἰC ἀδυνατέωVF-FAI3S ἐνώπιονP ὁRA-GPM κατάλοιποςA1B-GPM ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM οὗτοςRD-GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DPF μήD καίC ἐνώπιονP ἐγώRP-GS ἀδυνατέωVF-FAI3S λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM |
[6]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvellous in Mine eyes? saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts. |
| [7]ὅδεRD-NPN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἀνασώζωV1-PAI1S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἀπόP γῆN1-GSF ἀνατολήN1-GPF καίC ἀπόP γῆN1-GSF δυσμήN1-GPF |
[7]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west country; |
| [8]καίC εἰςἄγωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC κατασκηνόωVF-FAI1S ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN *ἰερουσαλήμN--GSF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ἐγώRP-DS εἰςP λαόςN2-ASM καίC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰςP θεόςN2-ASM ἐνP ἀλήθειαN1A-DSF καίC ἐνP δικαιοσύνηN1-DSF |
[8]And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness. |
| [9]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM καταἰσχύωV1-PAD3P ὁRA-NPF χείρN3-NPF σύRP-GP ὁRA-GPM ἀκούωV1-PAPGPM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF οὗτοςRD-DPF ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM οὗτοςRD-APM ἐκP στόμαN3M-GSN ὁRA-GPM προφήτηςN1M-GPM ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF θεμελιόωVX-XMI3S ὁRA-NSM οἶκοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM παντοκράτωρN3R-GSM καίC ὁRA-NSM ναόςN2-NSM ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSM οἰκοδομέωVX-XMI3S |
[9]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets that were in the day that the foundation of the house of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts was laid, even the temple, that it might be built. |
| [10]διότιC πρόP ὁRA-GPF ἡμέραN1A-GPF ἐκεῖνοςRD-GPF ὁRA-NSM μισθόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM ἄνθρωποςN2-GPM οὐD εἰμίV9-FMI3S εἰςP ὄνησιςN3I-ASF καίC ὁRA-NSM μισθόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN οὐD ὑποἄρχωVF-FAI3S καίC ὁRA-DSM ἐκπορεύομαιV1-PMPDSM καίC ὁRA-DSM εἰςπορεύομαιV1-PMPDSM οὐD εἰμίV9-FMI3S εἰρήνηN1-NSF ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF θλῖψιςN3I-GSF καίC ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI1S πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM ἄνθρωποςN2-APM ἕκαστοςA1-ASM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASM πλησίονD αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[10]For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the adversary; for I set all men every one against his neighbour. |
| [11]καίC νῦνD οὐD κατάP ὁRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-GSF ὁRA-APF ἔμπροσθενD ἐγώRP-NS ποιέωV2-PAI1S ὁRA-DPM κατάλοιποςA1B-DPM ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM οὗτοςRD-GSM λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM |
[11]But now I will not be unto the remnant of this people as in the former days, saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts. |
| [12]ἀλλάC ἤC δεικνύωVF-FAI1S εἰρήνηN1-ASF ὁRA-NSF ἄμπελοςN2-NSF δίδωμιVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASM καρπόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF δίδωμιVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APN γένημαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ὁRA-NSM οὐρανόςN2-NSM δίδωμιVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF δρόσοςN2-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC κατακληρονομέωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-DPM κατάλοιποςA1B-DPM ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GS πᾶςA3-APN οὗτοςRD-APN |
[12]For as the seed of peace, the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things. |
| [13]καίC εἰμίV9-FMI3S ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM εἰμίV9-IAI2P ἐνP κατάραN1A-DSF ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ἔθνοςN3E-DPN οἶκοςN2-VSM *ιουδαN--GSM καίC οἶκοςN2-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὕτωςD διασώζωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AP καίC εἰμίVF-FMI2P ἐνP εὐλογίαN1A-DSF θαρρέωV2-PAD2P καίC καταἰσχύωV1-PAD2P ἐνP ὁRA-DPF χείρN3-DPF σύRP-GP |
[13]And it shall come to pass that, as ye were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing; fear not, but let your hands be strong. |
| [14]διότιC ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM διανοέομαιVCI-API1S ὁRA-GSN κακόωVA-AAN σύRP-AP ἐνP ὁRA-DSN παραὀργίζωVA-AAN ἐγώRP-AS ὁRA-APM πατήρN3-APM σύRP-GP λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM καίC οὐD μετανοέωVAI-AAI1S |
[14]For thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of host: As I purposed to do evil unto you, when your fathers provoked Me, saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts, and I repented not; |
| [15]οὕτωςD παρατάσσωVK-XMI1S καίC δια ἀνανοέομαιVM-XMI1S ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF οὗτοςRD-DPF ὁRA-GSN καλῶςD ποιέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASF *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF καίC ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM *ιουδαN--GSM θαρρέωV2-PAD2P |
[15]So again do I purpose in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah; fear ye not. |
| [16]οὗτοςRD-NPM ὁRA-NPM λόγοςN2-NPM ὅςRR-APM ποιέωVF-FAI2P λαλέωV2-PAD2P ἀλήθειαN1A-ASF ἕκαστοςA1-VSM πρόςP ὁRA-ASM πλησίονD αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC κρίμαN3M-ASN εἰρηνικόςA1-ASM κρίνωVA-AAD2P ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πύληN1-DPF σύRP-GP |
[16]These are the things that ye shall do: Speak ye every man the truth with his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates; |
| [17]καίC ἕκαστοςA1-NSM ὁRA-ASF κακίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSM πλησίονD αὐτόςRD-GSM μήD λογίζομαιV1-PMD2P ἐνP ὁRA-DPF καρδίαN1A-DPF σύRP-GP καίC ὅρκοςN2-ASM ψευδήςA3H-ASM μήD ἀγαπάωV3-PAI2P διότιC οὗτοςRD-APN πᾶςA3-APN μισέωVAI-AAI1S λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM |
[17]And let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath; for all these are things that I hate, saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇.' |
| [18]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S λόγοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM παντοκράτωρN3R-GSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[18]And the word of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts came unto me, saying: |
| [19]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM νηστείαN1A-NSF ὁRA-NSF τετράςN3D-NSF καίC νηστείαN1A-NSF ὁRA-NSF πέμπτοςA1-NSF καίC νηστείαN1A-NSF ὁRA-NSF ἕβδομοςA1-NSF καίC νηστείαN1A-NSF ὁRA-NSF δέκατοςA1-NSF εἰμίVF-FMI3P ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM *ιουδαN--GSM εἰςP χαράN1A-ASF καίC εἰςP εὐφροσύνηN1-ASF καίC εἰςP ἑορτήN1-APF ἀγαθόςA1-APF καίC εὐφραίνωVC-FPI2P καίC ὁRA-ASF ἀλήθειαN1A-ASF καίC ὁRA-ASF εἰρήνηN1-ASF ἀγαπάωVA-AAD2P |
[19]'Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful seasons; therefore love ye truth and peace. |
| [20]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ἔτιD ἥκωVF-FAI3P λαόςN2-NPM πολύςA1-NPM καίC καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM πόλιςN3I-APF πολύςA1-APF |
[20]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities; |
| [21]καίC συνἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM πέντεM πόλιςN3I-APF εἰςP εἷςA1A-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF λέγωV1-PAPNPM πορεύομαιVC-APS1P δέωVC-APN ὁRA-GSN πρόσωπονN2N-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM καίC ἐκζητέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM παντοκράτωρN3R-GSM πορεύομαιVF-FMI1S καΐἐγώC+RPNS |
[21]And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying: Let us go speedily to entreat the favour of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, and to seek 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts; I will go also. |
| [22]καίC ἥκωVF-FAI3P λαόςN2-NPM πολύςA1-NPM καίC ἔθνοςN3E-NPN πολύςA1-NPN ἐκζητέωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM παντοκράτωρN3R-GSM ἐνP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF καίC ὁRA-GSN ἐκἱλάσκομαιV1-PMN ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM |
[22]Yea, many peoples and mighty nations shall come to seek 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favour of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇. |
| [23]ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM παντοκράτωρN3R-NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DPF ἐάνC ἐπιλαμβάνωVB-AMS3P δέκαM ἀνήρN3-NPM ἐκP πᾶςA1S-GPF ὁRA-GPF γλῶσσαN1S-GPF ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN καίC ἐπιλαμβάνωVB-AMS3P ὁRA-GSN κράσπεδονN2N-GSN ἀνήρN3-GSM *ἰουδαῖοςN2-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNPM πορεύομαιVF-FMI1P μετάP σύRP-GS διότιC ἀκούωVX-XAI1P ὅτιC ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM μετάP σύRP-GP εἰμίV9-PAI3S |
[23]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying: We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.' |
